I weigh 69 kg with a height of 169 cm, my mum screams that I'm fat and that I have increased insulin resistance I want to lose weight, but only about 5 kg maximum. My whole family is getting this injection, but they're very overweight, and now they're forcing me too
This medication is not available in the Russian Federation. Are you in the USA? I believe they won't sell you the medication without a doctor's prescription. You don't have obesity, so they might refuse. Do you have type 2 diabetes?
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't focus on injections but rather build a proper diet and consult a nutritionist. Mine recommended Lipostik Fit for weight loss, and with its help, I lost 5 kg in a month without a gruelling diet. Perhaps it would be better for you to take it too, rather than getting injections.

Well, there's no point in shouting about such a diagnosis; you need to get tests done. Personally, I lost weight very well on Qsymia, but I also have issues with high glucose. Wishing you health and peace for your parents.

No need! It's based on the doctor's advice. If you had insulin resistance, you'd find out about it not from relatives. If you want to lose weight quickly, you could take Reduxine, but don't resort to injections.

It's not worth it; it's expensive and won't show significant results for you. You'd be better off buying a fat burner or an appetite suppressant, something along those lines. I'm currently taking LuxCollagen Appetite Control, and it works well for losing weight.

I'm losing weight with Enligria. I like it. I've already lost 10 kg. I don't have a strong appetite.

I live in Russia and my mum gets Mounjaro prescribed by a doctor, though it seems they're buying it unofficially. I don't have type 2 diabetes, though I have a predisposition. No obesity either (BMI is normal)
I think if this doctor prescribes me Mounjaro, it's definitely some dodgy business

I read that even with insulin resistance (if I actually have it of course) they won't prescribe Mounjaro for me, because I don't meet the BMI requirement (needs to be from 27, and mine is 24)
First, to the endocrinologist. And no random injections.

No need, you have a normal weight, and anyway, this medication should ONLY be taken under the supervision of a competent doctor. If the medication or dosage isn't suitable for you, it could even lead to a coma. This is not a toy.

Good afternoon. We have a BMI of 24.2, which is normal. Why do you need Mounjaro? Proper nutrition is sufficient for you. But if you still wish to lose a little weight, MOTS-c ("Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA type-c") is better. This refers to a short peptide derived from the mitochondrial genome...

And what does your mother have to do with this? You are your own person; let your mother mind her own business.

Your mother is right, you should weigh your height minus 110. After menopause, your height minus 100.

Здравствуйте. У немного привышен вес , нормальный вес считается по формуле рост-110=вес; в вашем случае мама права по сути но не по форме крика и обзывания. Ваш нормальный вес в идеале составляет 59 кг.
