Head/ear noise

Head/ear noise

It's been 2 months now after prolonged stress that I've been haunted by noise in my head. ENT-normal, 2 neurologists said, based on the symptoms - dyscirculatory encephalopathy, prescribed expensive treatment. I've had neck massage, ozone therapy, the noise decreased by 80%, but these remaining 20% I still can't beat. Haven't done vascular ultrasound, no MRI either, I think I've already spent enough money, I've given up on meds and for now I'm just drinking water)))) Anyone else suffering from this "trouble" speak up!!!!!

It depends on what kind of noise. For me, it's more like a hum, a high-pitched sound in my ears or something. But it's like that—I'm used to it already, only if I focus on it in silence.

Did you measure the pressure?
#3
Have you not undergone any examinations? What caused it to appear?
#4
Blood pressure can vary, sometimes it's a bit low (100/60), then 120/80. I don't have a blood pressure monitor at home, but I'll measure it wherever I can.

I blame everything on VSD and suspect I have cervical osteochondrosis. My blood pressure is always 110/70.

Me, no. Just haven't gotten around to it)))
Don't know when I'll find the time, since I've really gotten used to it and "don't hear" it anymore, but you reminded me—now I hear it, it's beeping

No. Nothing hurts. It's just that I have VSD, sometimes symptoms flare up, but otherwise I'm healthy, I hope))

My friend also had that ringing, but it was during a stressful time when her arrhythmia acted up and she started having heart issues. She went through a course of injections, and as she recovered, the ringing disappeared. But her blood pressure was jumping to 150/100 and above.
I don't know what's causing mine.

Hmm... I'm wondering if there's any point in getting a vascular ultrasound and all that, just to throw money away, but on the other hand... what if it's something serious?? Phew... phew... phew.... although... I think if it were something serious, over 2 months the ringing wouldn't just have decreased, but there would be other symptoms too!!!!

This happened to me twice. In my ears. I was having problems at work. When the problems went away, so did the noise. I didn't go anywhere or get any diagnoses, but I think if there's no pain, there's no need to go anywhere.
I'm hearing about vascular ultrasound for the first time. I think there's Doppler ultrasound or something like that. By the way, if the noise is due to nerves, it won't show anything.

Fetal ultrasound in pregnant women with assessment of placental status... Dopplerography, Doppler ultrasonography, Doppler, Doppler ultrasound – these are all names for the same medical examination. It was invented by physicist and astronomer Christian Doppler... polyclin.ru/articles/…

Nothing hurts, just this squeaking, it's driving me crazy!!! I had bioresonance diagnostics, they'll tell me everything tomorrow, I hope they find the cause!!!

Make sure to get a vascular ultrasound; don't spare any expense when it comes to your health. The noise could be due to high blood pressure or other issues that might lead to a stroke in the future. Wishing you good health!

It's called tinnitus. Various pathologies, from stress to others. They didn't help me; I lost my hearing because of tinnitus. Not completely, but significantly. The diagnosis was accurate, that's what they told me. But I'm not giving up, now I'll get a scan to check for tumors or not, and it's good that you underwent ozone therapy—I'll push my doctor about it.

For many years, I've had a noise in my head like the chirping of cicadas. It's especially noticeable in silence—doctors say I'm hearing the sound of blood flowing through vessels that are very close to my ears, and nothing can help. I've grown accustomed to this noise, but my hearing has worsened—I can no longer hear whispers, the noise interferes, and speech seems less clear lately, so I often have to ask people to repeat themselves.

Did this appear suddenly for you or has it been since childhood?

Recently, my acquaintance felt a ringing in his head, went to an ENT specialist, and after examining him, the doctor said, "There's nothing wrong with you, you're healthy!!!" He was in shock and said, "So what's next????!!!!!!" And the doctor just waved his hand and said, "Get used to it!!!!!!!"))))))))))))))))))))))

Yeah, I think so too, first an ultrasound or something, then the right treatment, otherwise you could be walking around with who knows what!))

Hello, dear girls. I have the same problem. Suddenly in the morning, I felt a noise in my head. I thought it was the flu, but it didn't go away, and there was no high fever. My eyes were burning, and my blood pressure was fluctuating. I started to panic. I underwent a bunch of tests, but they couldn't find anything. Every doctor prescribed their own treatment, and I took the medications, but there were no improvements. Then I went to a vascular surgeon—they did a Doppler ultrasound of the vessels and also discovered osteochondrosis (my back was killing me at the time). There was osteochondrosis in the cervical spine as well. I received IV drips, took pills, went through a lot of procedures, massages, and saw a chiropractor. My condition improved, but a nasty squeak in my head remained. I get upset because of this and have already imagined a bunch of illnesses for myself. So today, I found your forum and decided to write to you. Don't spare money on your health; the most important thing is to diagnose the disease correctly and not give up! Right now, I'm drinking beet kvass and lemon juice with garlic, and herbs. I alternate everything and believe in healing. And the diagnosis I was given is dyscirculatory encephalopathy due to osteochondrosis. With this condition, they grant disability. So, get treated and let the state help. Good luck and happiness to you. And our happiness lies in our health.

Good afternoon. I've also developed tinnitus (noise in the head), it's been two years now. It's a rare case. Nothing has helped except for antidepressants, which I was taking for depression.

Thank you, Lyuda! I've also methodically gone through everything and ruled out a lot. But the persistent buzzing is driving me to despair. The doctors are helpless. I'm treating myself, using the computer, and it's much more effective.

I think getting an MRI is definitely necessary to identify the real cause. I had mine done in Moscow at MRT24 on Lilac Boulevard. They have a modern scanner there, everything is strictly by appointment, the prices are reasonable, and they offer discounts. You can go to any of their other centers—they have a whole network across Moscow. Check their website for prices and addresses.

I'm reaching out to the specialists. I've developed a cicada-like chirping sound after 3 acupuncture sessions, and it hasn't gone away for a day. What could be the issue? I'll ask my doctor, but I'd also like to hear from independent experts. I've become genuinely scared—could it be that the doctor inserted the needle in the wrong place? I never had any ringing before this procedure. Please help!!!

And have you tried asking the doctor what this could mean?? If you don't get an answer, go see a good neurologist. Get an MRI done.

Of course, get an MRI! Is Cherkizovskaya convenient for you? You can do it at MRT24, they do a good job, by appointment, and they have a new scanner. I had mine done there last year, they have a network of centers across Moscow.

I am 44 years old. Tinnitus started 7 years ago. The diagnosis revealed that the auditory nerve was affected, and the cause was cervical osteochondrosis. I've tried many things and came to the conclusion: the main goal is to prevent the condition from worsening, otherwise it will be difficult. I've accepted the situation, do self-massage of my neck, neck exercises, and take vasodilators. It's important not to overexert myself or get too cold (drafts are particularly dangerous).

I had a noise in my head that usually appeared by the end of the workday, along with weakness and dizziness. It turned out that the blood vessels in my head had weakened, and to strengthen them, I was prescribed Vazobral, which helped a lot. The noise is gone now, and I feel well—the weakness and dizziness have disappeared. The doctor said that the sooner this condition is treated, the better.

I'm in a completely baffling situation. Both my ears got blocked, like when driving on a winding road. And it's been getting worse every hour. I assumed it was earwax, since I overuse cotton swabs. By the evening of the next day, I was almost deaf. I was already lip-reading. I rushed to an ENT specialist. He said that due to trauma, there was skin shedding that blocked the ear canal. He flushed it out. It felt better. The next morning, it happened again, but less intensely. I flushed it again—felt better again. Now I can hear everything, though it's muffled. I sound like I'm talking into myself, like when you have the flu. But a terrible noise has appeared in my head or ears—I can't even tell anymore. It's the second night I haven't slept. I'm already having a nervous breakdown. My blood pressure shot up, all my muscles are trembling, I even feel nauseous. The ENT said this noise probably isn't coming from my ears anymore, most likely it's vascular. But I've been taking Cavinton for two months. Why would there suddenly be such a vascular flare-up, and on top of that, this skin issue in my ears? It's such a strange coincidence. What could this be? I'm climbing the walls, especially in silence.

I had that too, and I felt weak; the comment above about Vazobral is spot on, and I took those pills. They improve blood circulation and metabolism in the brain. After completing the course, the ringing in my ears went away, I feel refreshed, nothing bothers me, I can focus better at work, and my thoughts are clear and not jumbled.

I have a buzzing in my head and a high-frequency whistling in my left ear. I underwent a lot of examinations, but only Natalya Stepanovna Alekseeva figured it out. She's from the Neurology Research Institute on Volokolamsk Highway. A doctor sent from heaven. Thorough and very knowledgeable. She specializes in ear noise and whistling. It turns out I have poor drainage from the head, and I need not to improve it with drugs like Vazobral or Cinnarizine, but the opposite. She performed a duplex scan of the neck and head veins, but for the first time (and I've had this examination in various clinics and centers hoping to get to the truth), they did it sitting and lying down, told me to strongly tense my abdomen and strain. They checked the vascular and venous valves and did a blood viscosity test. Prescribed some Italian intravenous drug, any blood thinner like Thrombo ASS, and venotonics. And the buzzing somehow subsides. Treatment is absolutely necessary. Maintenance therapy, but competent. I've visited so many doctors... Yes, don't get an MRI just anywhere. Many are uninformative or not confirmed at all. The MRI technician himself (and from Korolyov, no less) advised me to go to the Clinical Endoscopy Center on Enthusiasts Highway. They interpret the results competently there, and they have a new Siemens machine, Euro standard. Good luck to everyone, and get treated by proven specialists. Take care of your health and money. Glad if I helped.

I have the same symptoms, a buzzing in my head, like near a transformer booth. I had an ultrasound of my blood vessels, also poor drainage, haven't seen a neurologist yet. My thyroid also works poorly, it's severely reduced, I've been taking Euthyrox for 4 years, they say it also affects the blood vessels in the head. The buzzing started in early October.
Elena, please keep writing about how your treatment is going.

I recommend listening to or reading the works of scientist Neumyvakin; check out his lecture on YouTube about head noises (search for it). The main idea is that the cause of the noise is intoxication of the body, its clogging with toxins, or an infection due to a weakened immune system.

I found another exercise for the cervical spine on YouTube, there's a video posted "by Andrey on how to live a hundred years, how I got rid of the noise in my head," and it gave me hope. I want to start doing the exercises plus a diet for blood vessels. Excess weight also plays a role.

I also spent a lot of time and money on examinations and treatments, but the buzzing in my head keeps increasing. I tried the neck exercises a couple of times, along with self-massage, and really liked it; it gave me hope. Everything is in our hands! Check it out on YouTube—everything is explained clearly and simply (the video by Andrey, "How to Live to One Hundred: How I Got Rid of the Noise in My Head").

Hello. I've also started experiencing noise in my head. It's a pulsating noise, and it usually begins every evening before sleep. Please share what you know about this. Which doctor should I see first? And where should I start with the examination? This has been going on for about 2 months now. I'm very worried...

"Hello everyone, I experienced a similar issue after a very severe headache. When I went to bed, my head was hurting, and pills didn't help—it felt like something was jammed, and then ringing started... Later, there was a pulsating noise in my right ear... I suffered for two months and decided to get examined (the headache stopped as soon as the ringing appeared). I had an ultrasound and something else, but they haven't found the cause yet. I want to get an MRI, maybe they'll find the reason. I'm glad to read and realize that I'm not alone in suffering and struggling with this problem!)) Also, a piece of advice: don't stay in silence—it causes discomfort that can lead to obsessive thoughts. And don't focus on the ringing; remember that your mindset and what you think about play a big role."

On the contrary—when noise first appears against a background of stress, see a doctor immediately. If you aren't "pumped out" within a month, the problem will stay with you for life.
