Early Menopause

Early Menopause

I'm 36 years old, since December I've had issues since November - either no period for two and a half months, or they come irregularly and there's no proper bleeding, just spotting. Plus there's constantly air coming out of my vagina (like popping sounds). My sex life is irregular, in the last six months there's been none at all and the scariest part is I don't even want it. I've been gaining a lot of weight even though I only eat once a day. Apathy and laziness to do anything. Could these be signs of early menopause? And I still want to have children.

Get your thyroid checked, have tests for hormones and blood sugar.

Author, menopause can occur even at 27. Go see an endocrinologist, get your hormones checked, and it's advisable to have ultrasound monitoring every month for about six months. It might indeed be thyroid issues or endometriosis. With menopause, hot flashes also occur.

Get your hormones tested, and then the doctor will prescribe treatment, but if it's early menopause, you'll have to give up the idea of having a child; only IVF can help.

My friend started menopause at 26! Good thing she managed to have a child in time!

Our doctors love to blame all problems on early menopause((....following this "cause" comes—lack of sexual activity (or overly active sexual life)), absence of childbirth (or too many childbirths)), absence of breastfeeding or...well, you probably get the idea by now???))______________________________-On-topic response: check your hormones (at Invitro, for example). The most important ones are LH and FSH (you can look up the interpretation of the results online).________________It's ridiculous to talk about menopause at 27....((((((in 99% of cases, it's hormonal dysfunction.

I'm the one whose life fell apart at 32. The girls are right, you need a good doctor. Mine just drained my money and didn't help at all in the end. I categorically refused hormone therapy. My friend took it, stopped, and the same thing happened again, she just gained weight. To not waste time, drink red brush and motherwort, they contain natural hormones and will boost your immunity. Take your test results to a homeopath. And it's very late, but I found out that the absence of periods is the result of a curse on the family name, yes, yes, don't laugh. It would be good to visit holy springs. Check your thyroid.

Lyalya, early menopause can start as early as 14, like it did for one of my distant, distant relatives. And it's not just the absence of menstruation, but other "senile" ailments too. She has to take calcium supplements, otherwise osteoporosis or whatever it's called exactly—I don't quite remember—starts to develop. By the way, it doesn't show on her appearance, meaning she doesn't look old.

In early menopause, hormone replacement therapy is precisely what is indicated. Just as insulin is necessary for diabetes, female hormones are essential during menopause to feel normal and look the part. And there's no need to fear this. The absence of normal hormone levels is far more detrimental to a woman's body—for the bones, the heart, and mental health. I won't even mention appearance... IT'S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

Girls, young women, women...__________sorry if I missed anyone)..._______________MENOPAUSE CANNOT HAPPEN AT 14 (sorry, Guest)....._______________apparently, you're not quite up to date?....((________________________For those interested in this topic - WHO HAS EVER TAKEN A HORMONE TEST?________________________THERE WILL BE ANSWERS_ THERE WILL BE _EXPLANATIONS....(especially interested in FSH and LH)

It's a pity I only saw this discussion now. Girls, I would like to chat and exchange experiences with those who faced this misfortune at an early stage, i.e., before the age of 40. Mine ended at 35, and before starting hormone replacement therapy, I went through a lot of examinations and various tests. For me, it was a SHOCK. I've read a lot about it, but I still can't come to terms with this trouble. Thank you in advance.

I started menopause at 26 after severe stress—my periods just stopped abruptly, and a month later, hot flashes began. I've been living with this for 2 years now (taking hormones). To say it's awful is an understatement. The doctor I see told me to accept it as a fact, but that I can't go without hormones. Has anyone else found themselves in a similar situation? Please share. Thanks in advance.

Tata, I heard this "verdict" two days ago... I'm also 35! And a year ago, I married a younger man... I don't know what to do now... I'm in a stupor...

I'm in the same situation—I'm 38, have an 11-year-old son, recently got married, and wanted to have another child, but my FSH is 97! I'm experiencing hot flashes and only have periods while on Femoston. I came to terms with it quickly, but the hot flashes are really interfering with my life.

Today, the diagnosis of "early menopause" was announced... No more doubts... All the tests have been done, everything is confirmed... And I'm only 38! I'm in shock. Complete shock. Girls, how did you get through this?

My menopause started at 25, after stress caused my periods to stop. I also went through numerous tests and saw many doctors, but no one could help. At 28, I started taking Femoston, and it made a huge difference. I regained my desire for sex, started sleeping better, and stopped being irritable. I'm almost 30 now, and ultrasounds show no follicles, and I don't have children. I decided to urgently pursue IVF—at 29, my FSH level was 182. But life must go on, and you MUST take hormones!!!

At 28, my periods stopped, FSH was elevated, and I had hot flashes—they explained it as premature ovarian failure, meaning menopause. Well, that's when the tears, runny nose, and shock started. The hot flashes didn't bother me; on the contrary, I'm always cold, so I warmed up in seconds :). The doctor decided to put me on hormones, but I thought it was too soon... Three months later, my periods returned, FSH was normal, and I thought it was a mistake, just a glitch in my body, and now everything would be fine. For exactly a year, like clockwork, not a day late (before, there were minor irregularities). And now, today, I'm facing the same problem again. I'll go get my dose of hormones in a few days—it's the best I can do for my body, and I absolutely refuse to stress over it, as that definitely won't help.

I'm 26 years old, and I also experienced stress, and then everything stopped. The doctors gave me the verdict: MENOPAUSE. It's good that I managed to have a son, but my husband left because he wanted a daughter.

I am 26. No children. Same diagnosis. But one particularity - postoperative menopause + had cancer (5 years ago). This means, in my case, hormones are strictly contraindicated (they increase the risk of recurrence). What should I do? How to support the body? I AM ON THE EDGE.

I've just started the treatment, and so far, everything is as the doctor (a good one) promised. Before seeing her, I was self-medicating with Remens, but I didn't have the patience to complete the course. Both times with Remens, after about a month or a month and a half, the hot flashes stopped, my hair condition normalized, and my periods started. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and will ask about Remens—whether I can take it now as well.

I'm 23, and this year I've only had my period three times. I'm experiencing constant hot flashes. One doctor says everything will return to normal, that it's a hormonal imbalance, while another says it's early menopause. I'm in shock.

Sorry, but what happens to hair during menopause??

I also have hormonal problems... I haven't done the tests mentioned above, but the symptoms are similar... And my hair is falling out terribly. It wasn't like this before. I'm also 28...

Honestly, I'm not worried... there's no need to stress over it, I'm more relaxed in that regard.

I am 38. I married the love of my life and lived with him for 13 years, until I was 35. We have a daughter who is now 9 years old. At 35, we decided to have another child, and I got pregnant with a boy. During the fifth month of pregnancy, I accidentally found out that my husband had met another woman and they were seeing each other. I was under immense stress. When I confronted him and made him choose, he chose her. We got divorced. Due to the stress, the baby's heart stopped, and nothing could be done. I had an abortion. I was devastated and didn't want to live anymore, crying all the time. I stopped eating and sleeping. Eventually... a year ago, my periods stopped, and I started having hot flashes—feeling hot then cold. The doctor said some hormones were above normal, calling it a dysfunction, and prescribed hormonal medication. I gained 2 kilograms, and my periods would only come when I took the pills, not otherwise. I got tired of it and stopped the medication in June. Also... my sex life has been irregular. After stopping the medication, my periods returned after two months, but they've been on and off. However, in the last two months, I've had them four times, heavier and longer than ever in my life. Now I'm waiting... I really want a son too... My ex-husband recently told me that I shouldn't have escalated things, that it would have passed... but now, much has been said and done, and it's impossible for us to be together after all this. And recently, he suggested I become his mistress. I refused... It hurts me deeply to see him. My soul is crying. After all, he chose her over me and our daughter. Honestly, life without him has lost all meaning, and I can't be with him anymore. But the world without him feels very dull and lifeless. I want him to live a long life... because I don't need a world without him. I couldn't live knowing he's not in the world. And I'm needed by my daughter... So that's the story of my early menopause... They tell me that the symptoms before menopause can be similar, but I hope it's just due to severe stress.

I feel so sorry for you! But you speak of him so kindly—I wish you happiness, that a man who loves you crosses your path, and that you have a child together, and experience the joy of womanhood! I seem to be going through menopause too at 38, but I've had many IVF attempts. Now all my joints hurt and my libido has vanished. I'm searching online at night for companions in misfortune and an answer to what to do.

Polly, we are the same age. Mine also cheated on me with his mistress when I was pregnant. And I had gone through IVF, thought I would die or go insane. I kicked him out myself, but now we're back together. But it's not the same anymore, not at all, everything is ruined.

Try wearing Vinalight anion pads—three per day—they help balance your hormonal levels. Also, drink oregano infusion: two tablespoons per one cup of boiling water, and consume half a cup 15 minutes before meals. Your periods may return. Wishing you good health!!!

Girls!!! There's a method called bloodletting (hijama). I'm a doctor myself and have been practicing bloodletting for 3 years. Early menopause can be treated in just 2-3 sessions! It's been tested repeatedly.

Girls, try Ovariamin (it's cytamins) – it helped me. You can order them in St. Petersburg. They're not available in pharmacies.

I'm 26, my thyroid is fine, I lead an active lifestyle with sports, studying, and work, and I'm married, but I've entered menopause because of endometriosis. I didn't have time to have children. And you say it can't be!!!! It can, and I have hot flashes and no discharge at all; among hormones, only my AMG is below normal accordingly. And no bloodletting will bring back eggs, unless you crawl back into your mother's womb and start developing your own ovaries!

It's really very frightening to hear such things... I also have early menopause... It started at some unclear time, probably around 20... I really want children... I'm 23 now. I want to say one thing: parents should still have their children, especially girls, checked by doctors. It feels awful to think that I might not have children. But I still believe in the best. And not every man would accept this, let alone understand it. No one in my family had this, I mean, early menopause. Everyone has many children. It seems every person has to go through something. Dear girls, never suffer because of men, take care of your health. They are not worth it.

I was also diagnosed with this at 36! Even though my periods are regular, my anti-Mullerian hormone is very low and FSH is elevated at 28. They prescribed HRT, but at least with it, I can still get pregnant, and without it, it would be even worse. I'm not losing hope, though I don't quite understand why my periods are fine but my hormones are off? I've had tests done at several labs, still unclear? PMS hits me hard and it's tormenting me:( That's why I went to the doctor! I just become furious a week or even two before. I'm so tired of it! I'm about to start Femoston, and then I'll see and write about it later! If anyone has thoughts on this, please write, but no bold statements because I see there are a lot of grumpy people here)

I AM 41 YEARS OLD. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH EARLY MENOPAUSE. I AM TAKING FEMOSTON, MY DESIRE FOR SEX HAS DISAPPEARED, AND I FEEL SOMEHOW INCOMPLETE. OF COURSE, LIFE DOESN'T END WITH THIS, BUT THERE IS LESS JOY IN IT. NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES. HOW CAN I SMOOTH EVERYTHING OUT?

43 years old, missed period for a month, ultrasound showed endometrium - 3 mm, 1 follicle, need to get tests done. The doctor said it's definitely hormones, early menopause. I feel terrible, constantly feel like crying, hot flashes, insomnia. What should I do, I'm in shock?

Menopause before 30 is a complete sh*t show.

After 30, it's lousy.

After 40, it's rotten.

After 50, it's unpleasant.

But if nothing can be done about it, don't sweat it; worrying won't make things better.

It's a shame that all hopes and dreams fall apart... But for some reason, life loves to do that.

Menopause hit at 39. What a joy to live without pads, plugs, leaks, and lower back pain! I only agree with the previous speaker on the first point.
