Hello. I never really had any major issues with my periods before, except for a painful first day. They would come with a deviation of at most 2-3 days early/late, so within the normal range. Last month, there was a 10-day delay. Moreover, before my period, I started having frequent urination; I was told it could be a PMS symptom, but I never had that before. I had an ultrasound around the 7th day of the delay, and they said it should start any moment, and it did, without any peculiarities. This month, there's another delay of almost 4 days already. Again, I often feel the need to pee. I got checked for infections at the gynecologist at the end of summer—everything was fine. What should I do about these delays? I use contraception, but because of them, I'm constantly afraid of pregnancy. I'd prefer not to take hormonal pills. Does anyone have a similar situation? Should I go to the gynecologist again? Check my thyroid? Maybe a vitamin deficiency? Thank you!
+ The first delay was accompanied by intermenstrual bleeding, most likely due to ovulation; the gynecologist said everything else was fine.
Could the cycle be delayed because the previous period was irregular?

Author, you've described my exact situation—same here! But I often have delays of up to 5 days; last month, I had my period twice! And this month, it just won't come: my breasts hurt and that's it (and I don't know how to induce it).

Asashay, have you been examined by a doctor?
Maybe you should get your hormones checked?

A week before my period, I was running to the bathroom to pee very frequently. My period itself arrived 4 days later than usual, even though it used to be right on schedule. The sensations in my abdomen are different than before, as if a balloon has been inflated.

Hormonal disorders are treated only with hormones.
There are also excellent medications like Remens and Stella. They are non-hormonal. With hormonal ones, you can cause all sorts of trouble...

Hello, I'm 17 years old, my period is already 10 days late. There are no pregnancy symptoms, everything is as usual before periods—my breasts are swollen, but they haven't come. What could this be?

Hello!
I am 16 years old. I've been having my period for about two to three years. I am not sexually active. Previously, I didn't have any noticeable delays, but now I haven't had my period for about a month. What could be the reasons, and should I be concerned? I was sick for two weeks and often feel anxious and stressed—could that be the cause of the delay? Please help!

You don't need to worry—there are many reasons for a delay besides pregnancy. Think back: have you been stressed, had fears, depression, vitamin deficiencies, or other issues that disrupt the body's normal functioning? Your internal clock is just off. Everything will pass.

There are often delays, and I can't tell if it's my problem or if this is just how my cycle is! I'm 16! Tell me, how can I "bring on" my period? My mom is worried.

Hello! Please help me. After the last sexual intercourse, my period started two weeks earlier than expected. Then, after another two weeks, it started again, and now I have a one-month delay!!! The test is negative. My periods have never been regular, so I wasn’t panicking, but now I’m really scared. What could this be?

I once had a 21-day delay. I thought I was going to go crazy. Plus, my boyfriend and I had been having sex without a condom. I took tests after a week of the delay—all negative. But there were no signs of my period. I went for an ultrasound two weeks later. They stuck that thing in me, and the doctor said there was no pregnancy. By the way, the reason I went was because I bought a cheap test out of curiosity, just for 13 rubles, and it showed a faint second line. Thank God, a couple of days later, everything started!!! Yay!!! By the way, I remember that year, all my girlfriends had delays of 10–15 days.

Kristina, your cycle will regulate itself in the best case in about 2-3 years. For now, it will be very irregular. Sometimes it will come, sometimes it won't. Don't worry. Your body is getting used to the new hormones.

Hello, I'm 26 years old and I had my first delay of 15 days. I ate both parsley and an aspirin tablet of 200 grams in a day, and only on the 4th day of trying to induce menstruation with aspirin and parsley did my period come! Don't worry, most likely you are not pregnant! It's just a delay due to a change in climate or weather, or due to stress. Ascorbic acid helped a lot.

Also, eat parsley every day, brew parsley like tea, drink it 3 times a day, take vitamin C and vitamins, brew onion skins, drink it 3 times a day. And your period will definitely start.

Hello! I'm 21 years old. I have an 8-day delay, and today I took two tests: one was negative, the other positive. I measured my basal temperature at 37.0°C. There don't seem to be any signs of pregnancy. Could this be pregnancy, or something else?

Hello! I'm 21 years old. I have constant delays, sometimes for a month or more! I've been to doctors, and they say everything is fine! They prescribed Duphaston, I took it for six months, everything was running like clockwork day by day, then it got disrupted again. Do I have to take it my whole life? Could this affect future pregnancy?
Hello! Please advise, I don't know what to think! I am 23 years old. Currently, my period is 5 days late. At the same time, I feel unwell, drowsy, nauseous, and have completely lost my appetite. There is a possibility of pregnancy, but it is very small. I also developed acne, but it went away just as quickly. My period still hasn't come. Is this pregnancy or just a delay?

My breasts hurt like they do before my period, but it hasn't started! It's been 4 days late. I don't know what to do. Today I bought an Evitest, and it was negative!

Hello. I am 19 years old. My periods started when I was 14, and I am not sexually active. Previously, my periods were regular, but this month I am already 14 days late. There has been no change in climate. I am very worried. Could this be due to the summer heat? Please help.
You shouldn't worry so much if you're not sexually active! It could be due to overexertion! Try taking Duphaston.

I'm also a bit worried... We had sex on the first day of my period, but there wasn't much discharge then, just "spotting," and the next day everything started normally. Now I'm 11 days late, and the usual period symptoms come and go. I'm trying to reassure myself that the delay is due to stress, because in the middle of my cycle I met my grandmother at the train station and spent the whole day carrying suitcases because of that. I haven't dared to take a test yet. I'm 22.

Hello, I turned 14 yesterday. These issues started when I was 12. I often had irregularities, and my mom took me to a doctor she knows. They told me everything would normalize over time. I lead an active lifestyle and exercise frequently. Recently, I went to another city for two months, where the climate is different. I experienced a period of depressive mood there—it was hot and dry. Lately, my workouts have become more frequent, and in that city, instead of my usual 22–30 days (my cycle is irregular), I waited about 40 days. I had some stomach pain and itching in one area, but if there were any issues, they were minor. This month (I returned about 10 days ago), it seems like the situation is repeating itself. Is this normal? It’s already been a 10-day delay, and only today, it feels like a balloon is inflating in my lower abdomen, with a bit of itching. I’ve been so stressed about all of this! Do I have any reason to worry???

Hello! I'm 23 years old, and my periods have always been very regular (right on schedule). But this month, there was a 7-day delay. My husband and I thought I might be pregnant, but the test came back negative twice, and unfortunately, my period started on the 8th day. Should I see a doctor? Why did this disruption happen?

Hello! I am currently 17 years old. I have a delay of 3-4 days. Sometimes I feel a pulling sensation in my lower abdomen, like before my period, and my breasts are a bit sore, but this has happened before. I am very worried that it might be pregnancy, as it's too early for me, and I wouldn't want to upset my parents. Today, I took an Evitest, which showed one bright, clearly defined line with no hint of a second one. It might still be too early for the test to give an accurate result. When can I take a second test to get a more reliable result? And what should I do next? Can I go to a women's clinic without my parents' consent? Thank you in advance. I would really appreciate your help!

GIRLS, I WANT TO SHARE AND SET A POSITIVE MOOD!!! I also had a delay, had protected sex, I was waiting for my period, but it didn't come, my mom was already asking, I was terribly worried, scoured the entire internet about pregnancy, about symptoms, since all the symptoms matched... I was already preparing for the worst!!! The main reason is that I was extremely stressed!! Just terribly... My advice is to take 5 pregnancy tests, they definitely don't let you down!! Within a week, mine showed negative! And my period finally came... and all the symptoms were like pregnancy!! So don't worry and don't stress!!! And if the delay is long, you should see a doctor! Also, delays happen in girls who have polycystic ovary syndrome!!!!!!

Maria, you can take a test immediately after intercourse, but it's best to do it after a 5-day delay in your period!! I took tests every two days for a week after the delay!! The best one is Frautest! You should take the test in the morning!!! In the evening, it might give a false result! If at least one test shows a positive, then you should consider it, but if all five tests are negative, then wait for your period! Yes, you can go to a women's clinic without your mom, I think after the age of 15, if I'm not mistaken.

The disruption could be due to hormonal imbalances!! Or if there are gynecological issues!! Polycystic ovary syndrome

I don't think it could be due to stress!! In this situation, I would advise taking a test!! You already have more than a week's delay, and the test should show an accurate result. Buy three of them, don't spare the money on this!! I recommend Frautest, it's very good and accurate! If all three are negative, then it's not pregnancy... but if even one is positive, then you should run to the hospital!!
Evitest isn't great, buy a Frautest instead!! A 4-day delay is normal, it's not that scary!! Take the test when the delay reaches a week! If it's negative, then everything is fine, it's just some kind of irregularity.

If it showed positive once, then you need to go to the hospital!! Especially with an elevated basal temperature! Sometimes pregnancy can proceed without symptoms in the early stages!! To the hospital! There are no other options!

Hello, girls!!! I'm here for the first time))) I want to share a bit and ask for advice)))
My husband and I want a baby. We had sex during the "right time"... Then I started waiting for my period, which was supposed to come around August 21-22, and today is already the 25th, but it still hasn't come... I've been getting headaches often, my stomach has been aching, my breasts have gotten a bit bigger (but they don't hurt), I've been running to pee a lot, and I'm almost constantly sleepy... Last night, I had some slightly pinkish-yellow discharge, and this morning a little bit with blood... And that's it... What could this be? Please tell me, maybe someone has had something similar... Thanks)) Sasha.

I don't know what to do.
And the day before, I was really stressed out.
Please tell me what I should do!!

It's better not to try to induce your period! Because something could go wrong and cause very heavy bleeding, and if the ambulance doesn't arrive in time, that's it! I've read this on some websites, and a friend of mine told me the same thing!

Hello! I'm already 4 days late... And honestly, I don't understand... Last month I was 2 days late and now again... so I don't know from which day to count... The last sexual intercourse was on September 19th... unprotected, interrupted... I started reading about all sorts of discharge and now I'm sitting here nervous... I've basically been a nervous wreck all 4 days... because it's too early for me to have a child, I'm not on my feet yet... My breasts are a bit sore, I have discharge like before my period... I keep running to the bathroom to check if it's started, my lower back hurts, basically all the symptoms of my period but it's not here... What should I do?

Hello! I'm 14 years old... everything started when I was 13... in August, then the second time in March... and again in August, three times in a year!!! Sometimes there were some blood-colored discharge, but very little. My breasts have never hurt, only my lower back hurts terribly during my period. I'm not sexually active, what is this? Is this even normal?

Hello! Please help me with some advice! During intercourse, the condom broke, and my period was supposed to start a week later—but it didn't. I started having lower abdominal pain and constantly running to the bathroom (cystitis started). It's already been 2 weeks without a period!!! I took a pregnancy test three times—all negative. I drank tansy (ugh), and it didn't help!!!

Hello! I'm 13 years old, and my periods started at the beginning of the summer. But in October, I didn't have one—what could this be? Also, in September, for the first time, there were some transparent-brownish small clots, and then at the end of the month, it went normally... Another thing is that my periods don't come on the same date each month but on different dates.
Please advise!!

Hello! I'm 17. My last period was around October 25th, and today is already December 14th. My periods always start late, with a delay of 3–7 days after the previous one. What could this be related to?
I've been going to the gym for several months now—could that have any effect?
