If you have a cat at home, apply it carefully, only in places it can't reach. Houses and traps are safer for pets, but personally, I find their effectiveness quite questionable. Probalt didn't help. We also tried a bunch of folk remedies before. Nothing worked. We applied Taratsid to all the cracks, baseboards, and covered the ventilation ducts. So far, knock on wood... haven't seen any for 4 months.
