I had 3 RF lifting procedures done by a cosmetologist using the 'Rubika' device. I'm 38. Before that, I read reviews. There are both good reviews and ones saying 'it stayed the same as before'. But after the procedures, I came across a review saying that a few years after RF, facial skin starts aging rapidly and there's no way to stop it. Then I saw another similar review. Well, I'm absolutely horrified, of course. Is this true or not? I won't go for the 4th procedure. If it's true, have these 3 procedures already played a fatal role in my face's life? Has anyone done RF many years ago? Please share what your skin condition is like now. People who understand the topic, what do you think about this? I'd be very grateful for answers.
The Russian Federation itself is unsafe; harm can affect the entire body... whereas for the skin, additional stimulation is, on the contrary, beneficial....

I've also been thinking about this procedure for a long time. I'm the same age as you. And something needs to be done about my face. People usually give me about ten years less, but that's only when I look good and am in a good mood. I've really aged a lot this year. Injections only give a temporary effect. And they don't inject eyelids at all. I was considering RF for the eyelids. ACTUALLY, I'M ALREADY THINKING ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY. I want to look genuinely better and about 15 years younger. I'm gathering information.

A few years??? She just started to age, that's all. What do procedures done several YEARS ago have to do with it? Nonsense. I had a SMAS facelift a year and a half ago. I looked like a young girl for six months. Now everything has sagged again. And is SMAS to blame??!! They cut out and discarded a lot of skin.

My sister-in-law had it done twice when she was 39, with no positive results. Now at 41, her skin is saggy, and she says the aging process accelerated after the RF lifting. She regrets having it done. My other sister-in-law is older, 45, and looks better than her sister. In my opinion, RF lifting is a cruel and harmful scam to extract money from people.

I think, in general, one should conduct fewer experiments on the skin. I'm almost 40 and don't look my age. I don't use anti-ageing creams, only light, moisturising, simple, our own ones. After a bath, I do a finger massage and exercises (I just stand in front of the mirror and make faces; it trains the muscles well). And I've noticed before, as soon as I start using aggressive methods on my face, the effect turns out negative. Probably, my skin doesn't like experiments.

I've had Fraxel done probably two or three times already, can't remember exactly..)) The procedure is brilliant! It's the foundation for all other hardware procedures, I especially recommend it for those with enlarged pores and uneven, bumpy facial skin. The swelling is awful of course, but the result is absolutely worth it! I definitely recommend it, especially in winter when holidays are long - everything will clear up in 10 days, not sooner, but the result stays for a very long time, for two years, definitely!!

Go to a beautician – that's the solution. I had an RF-lifting treatment a year ago. I look amazing – no wrinkles or sagging. A specialist is far more effective and delivers better results.

I've never heard of such a lifting procedure before... I'm having my breasts done this week at Doctor Plastic and I know my surgeon, Bakov, is really great at softlifting—and there is such a rejuvenating technique... I'll think about it! But the most important thing is the boobs first) everything in its turn) Ugh, please calm me down! I'm so nervous)))

I had one treatment, and the results were immediately noticeable after the procedure; even after a massage, the skin can appear firmer, etc. What puzzled me was that the beautician herself doesn't use this treatment—why not, if it's so fantastic? After two weeks, I noticed that my skin has become like a rag, and how can I now at least restore it to its previous condition?

My beautician told me that RF-lifting is often used for skin tightening on the abdomen of mature ladies. She has four years of experience working with this device and hasn't received any negative feedback so far. I think it's not worth doing on the face. Either opt for a massage or go under the knife. But for the buttocks/abdomen, it's acceptable.

Honestly, what nonsense. After two procedures... not only does it do nothing but it makes you age as well. I've had it done, and my girlfriends have had it done and it's soooo good!!!
Agreed. But can this procedure be done somewhere other than at a beautician's? 😊

Honestly, it's nonsense you're writing, beautician. Your skin can really suffer after just one, improperly performed procedure. Yes, and your next post should ask where you and your girlfriends get this procedure done, and you'll be like, "yes, please, we all get it done at this clinic with such a greaaaat doctor with their full name given".

I had it done about three years ago, and the effect was very impressive. The skin really tightened and became very firm and elastic. Plus, the bags under my eyes disappeared; they were small but noticeable. The RF-lifting was performed by the head of the cosmetology department at the Selin Clinic, Yulia Anatolyevna Dzyuba. She is a very experienced and professional doctor. Now, I can't say I see a bad effect—there isn't one. But I visit a cosmetologist regularly, whereas some girls stop going and their skin continues to age, so the contrast makes it look much worse. You have to take care of yourself!
Exactly! 😄 Moreover, a woman over 40 writes: "I don't use anti-ageing creams..." This shows that people don't take care of themselves at all, yet ageing processes still happen, especially nowadays. They find excuses to do nothing. But what surprises me: RF is bad, but "injections give temporary effects") RF-lifting is scary, but injections aren't scary??? Injections have much more serious consequences than hardware cosmetology. Meanwhile: people think they've done 2 procedures and will be beautiful for life? You need to do something regularly. Celebrities constantly get plastic surgery, haven't you wondered why? Yes, because you can't stop the ageing process! You can reverse it. But you need to look at such things somewhat adequately. Or at least buy a proper cream, there's such a choice now.

Oh, it's interesting where such fears come from) and how authors imagine this. It's clear that it doesn't slow down the aging process but rather turns you back a few years! To age more slowly, you need to lead a proper lifestyle at the very least)) and work less))) I really liked the effect of the procedures, I had them done at Selin by Elena Egorova, it's been a few years now and I'm planning to repeat it!

All procedures that stimulate the skin to look younger (except those that provide nourishment) are traumatic. But that's not the point; the point is that our cells have a finite reserve of youth. This is linked to the length of DNA telomeres. The more a cell has divided, the shorter the telomeres become. So, if you stimulate the growth of new cells, the telomeres will be much shorter in old age. The cell's ability to divide will be lost, and it will no longer divide. Every procedure is a path to nowhere. You'll see the effect now, but in 5-10 years, it will be a disaster. No beautician will tell you this. I'm telling you this as a biologist. Or look up beautician Amina. She used to be a beautician but has now distanced herself from it. She might have videos on aesthetic device treatments. You have no idea what beauticians are actually offering. Even hyaluronic acid doesn't produce collagen or other benefits. It's just swelling... That's why the skin smooths out. Hyaluronic acid, as it breaks down, binds and retains water, rather than affecting collagen, elastin, and so on. It's all a lie to get money from you...

You can. With a home device and clumsy hands. Do it on professional equipment and with a specialist. You don't age after the procedure, but from nerves and stress, and from smoking - nasolabial folds, and from drinking you don't become more beautiful either. I've had 7 procedures on my face and décolleté. I don't smoke or drink. Everything's fine. The effect lasts 2 years, then we'll repeat it again. The effect appears after the 1st procedure, and becomes stable after the 4th. During the first month the skin looks dry, you need to drink lots of water. Then over 2-4 months after the procedure the effect builds up. Don't skimp if you want results. And for me, a 10-day break between procedures is better.

You've written very correctly! That's exactly how it is. I've been doing RF for 9 years now, 1 procedure per area = eyelids, then a week later the lower part of the face, then the neck. The results are just as you describe. But my skin isn't dry after RF. I take care of it, plus sauna. I look very good, plus genetics helps. And you need to go to a good beautician. That's about 29 minutes per area. It should be a bit hot, you need to endure it, not painful.. I do it once a year around March 8th. My skin is always very firm, nothing sags.. By the way, I'm 65 years old.. Yes, small moles and jowls disappear too. In just one procedure. So do it properly, and consistently. Wishing everyone beauty and health! And another thing - I'm slim, slender, no belly. So I manage with just one procedure. That's enough for me. With respect = ULYANOVSK.
Well, if you start around the age of 20, then maybe... although there might not be anything to lift with RF-lifting yet. For me, RF-lifting is an excellent alternative to plastic surgery; I doubt I'll ever dare to cut my face, but device-based cosmetology really, really saves the day. I do courses several times a year on the Infini device—I always go to the same cosmetologist, Elena Egorova, at the Seline clinic, because only after her procedures do I see real results. My skin has become firmer, the oval of my face is well-defined, no sagging cheeks, even though my skin is prone to it. I'm very pleased. I'm 45, by the way.

I also have the same cosmetologist. I used to do several procedures on different zones, then noticed there's no difference whether it's one or three. Maybe because my face is thin. You're right, it's an excellent alternative to plastic surgery. My husband always notices - "Sooo, you've been again, have you?" He likes it. My face doesn't age at all, doesn't sag, no jowls or molar bags. So, ladies, do RF. You won't regret it. I don't remember the machine name _ I think _ tripolar. ULYANOVSK

Could you tell me, is RF very painful? I've had Fraxel twice at medium frequencies, but with good anaesthesia. I handled it fine. Now my doctor recommends RF. I'm afraid of the pain. I want to understand how the pain of these procedures compares. I'd be grateful for an answer.

I had an RF lifting procedure done today. So far, I'm pleased. It feels like everything has tightened up. I have four more sessions to go, spaced two weeks apart. I tried it a year ago, but with a different machine. This time, they attached one plate to my back (I assume it's the opposite electrode), so I concluded it's a monopolar device. I wanted to combine this procedure with vacuum massage, but then I read that it's better to leave the skin alone for the first week. I'll see what the final result will be.

Not painful. But the aesthetician works quickly and it's better not to distract her with conversation. If you even pause the handpiece in one spot for a second, it burns. Otherwise it's just a tolerable warming sensation.

How intriguing, then why do cosmetologists themselves take advantage of all the benefits of technology and medicine if it's so terrifying and leads to such consequences? Of course, it's all made up! I've been having machine-based treatments for a long time, tried many, everything is wonderful and, on the contrary, only better. I fully trust my cosmetologist; one just needs to go to good clinics. I personally go to Egorova E. N. and feel at ease about my beauty!

Far from all of them use them. As I know at least one case of sudden death of a cosmetologist famous throughout Novosibirsk from cancer. I think there's much more similar information among cosmetologists. When stimulating cells you can stimulate not only collagen growth.

Between the ages of 33 and 38, I underwent a course of 5-6 RF-lifting treatments every six months. I'll say straight away: it helps if done on a good machine at the maximum tolerable temperature. My skin is prone to swelling and the formation of jowls. The effect after the procedure: the skin tightens, I would compare it to how a "hard-boiled egg" becomes firm due to the high temperature affecting the skin's protein, I suppose (well, that's how I understand it, but I'm not an expert!). However, I wouldn't recommend it to girls with dry skin. My friend didn't like this procedure at all. Now I'm 40. I look my age. I haven't had RF-lifting done for a long time because I'm not sure it can halt the natural aging process after 40((((((....

I am 37 and have been troubled by dry, dehydrated skin and bags under my eyes. At the end of last year, I had an unsuccessful mesotherapy treatment for dark circles under my eyes—the swelling lasted over a week instead of the promised two days, and with the New Year approaching, my beautician recommended RF lifting to reduce the puffiness. I really liked the effect and read reviews saying there are no side effects or recovery time, which is a big plus since my skin is sensitive, and papules take a long time to fade. After the bad experience with mesotherapy, I'm generally afraid of injections—no one can guarantee that injections will help rather than just being money thrown away. At least with this, you can't make things worse. So, I decided to go for a full-face course. I don't remember the name of the device. After the course, the wrinkles didn't disappear, but my skin became significantly firmer, morning creases almost vanished, and the skin under my eyes became smooth and bright—overall, it's not scary to look in the mirror in the morning. The promised effect is supposed to last for a year after the last procedure.
Could there really be significant regression after six months, making it worse than before? I'd also like to hear more reviews.

And you're making a mistake by not doing RF. I'm 66 now. I've been doing RF for 10 years, once every six months, one procedure. The machine is powerful, it needs to be hot but tolerable. Otherwise the effect isn't strong but it's there. The effect is noticeable immediately. But especially on the 3rd day. Then damaged fibers recover over 2 months, as indeed stretched collagen shrinks and gets damaged after the procedure. The face tightens very noticeably and for a long time. Even at my age there's an effect. I don't do any injections. I maintain facial tone with sauna and regular RF procedures. My face is kind of frozen at age 45. Especially since my figure matches 40-45 years, at 162cm - 52kg. And after 45-50 years you'll see those jowls one "fine" day even on a thin face. And you'll immediately remember about the RF procedure. It will help immediately. But I don't do courses, one procedure helps me enough, but I do separate zones - eyelids, lower part of face, neck. And that's enough. Anyway, beauty and health to you.
