Girls! Darlings! Those who've already given birth, or have heard something... what are the symptoms if it's a boy? or a girl? Very interesting! Thank you all so much for the answers!!!! Waiting!
I'm sharing my "symptom," which was later confirmed by 100% of my friends who gave birth—if you really crave ice cream, it's going to be a boy. I was eating 6 to 10 packs a day. I could have eaten more, but I was afraid of catching a cold))).

If a woman's nose enlarges, it's a girl, and if her lips enlarge, it's a boy.

With the boy, I craved meat more, and with the girl, sweets. There wasn't much other difference, and I had no morning sickness either time.

By the shape of the belly. When you're carrying a boy, the belly sticks out in front, and nothing is visible from the back. When it's a girl, the belly spreads out to the sides.

1) AAAAAH. It matched)))
2) Didn't match. I look at my photos, in the last months my nose "spread out."
Anyway, on the 4th day after conception, I dreamt of a boy.

I was expecting a girl - I couldn't stand meat, even the smell. I craved fresh salads and fruits, in large quantities))) My belly definitely spread out to the sides, I became like a shapeless log. I was insanely horny, right up until the birth I practically raped my husband!!!
Now, in 3 weeks, we're expecting a boy (according to the ultrasound) - heartburn has been tormenting me from the first days. Well, no, first I was a bit nauseous). I eat meat normally. I really craved ice cream in the second trimester. My sex life is non-existent((( I'm plagued by thrush (never had it before, not even a hint of anything like it). My belly is like a ball, all out front, and if you look from behind, you can even see my waist. I wonder if the ultrasound got the gender wrong, we'll find out soon. But the pregnancies are completely different, even though there's no major pathology.

Wow, exactly, just like with my first, I really craved beer throughout this pregnancy!
And with my daughter, I had a strong craving to smoke. Actually, I was really drawn to the smell of smoke and wanted to smoke myself. Although I don't smoke! But could it be that my body was lacking something?!

I ate ice cream, my belly stuck out like a cucumber, my waist was visible even in the last months, I craved meat, all my beauty remained—and what? A girl!!

Has anyone ever had an ultrasound be wrong? At 22 weeks, they told me it was a boy, and today at 27 weeks—it's a girl. I'm even a bit upset.
It all depends on how the baby is positioned during the ultrasound. They can lie in such a way at that moment that it's really impossible to see anything clearly.)))
But there's no need to be upset. This is your little one, your own flesh and blood. As soon as you hold them in your arms for the first time and give them a kiss, you'll scold yourself for having such thoughts later. Believe me.
Wishing you and your little one good health.

The best sign is if the baby has a penis, then it's a boy. Ultrasound, by the way, hasn't been cancelled.

My friend was told she was having twins throughout her entire pregnancy. And a super-ultrasound specialist saw only one baby just 2 weeks before delivery. She gave birth to two.
You can't judge by the shape of the belly because if the abdominal muscles are strong, the belly will grow forward rather than spread out to the sides. Mine stuck out like a cucumber, and everyone kept saying it would be a boy. I kept telling them that three ultrasounds had already shown a girl. To which one old lady replied: "I don't know what that ultrasound-schmooltrasound is showing you, but I'm telling you, it's definitely a boy!" :)) A girl was born ;)

Throughout my pregnancy, I indulged in sweets—chocolate, fruit in crazy amounts, with mild morning sickness, and a huge belly that stuck out in all directions, both to the sides and straight forward. I gave birth to a very large boy. And yet, everyone predicted a girl—by blood type, by old wives' tales, and even by ultrasound, by the way! ))))

Only one ultrasound technician told me it was a boy, and even then, he first looked and said it was a girl, then spent another 40 minutes looking and said, no, actually it's a boy. But all the ultrasounds before and after that said it was a girl, so I thought the guy had made a mistake. But no.
There is a theory that initially the embryo is sexless and only later "chooses" which sex to be. There's also a theory that sex depends on the woman; yes, men produce different sperm, but it's the female environment that decides which sperm—X or Y—will survive in it and fertilise the egg.
Don't rely too much on textbooks. They say we descended from apes, but that's not true. And for about 500 years, all textbooks stated that the Earth was flat, so who knows what else they'll write.

"It says in them that we descended from apes, but that's not true."
And do you, Iris, have irrefutable proof that it is indeed not true??? In my opinion, the final word on this matter hasn't been said yet...

"There is a theory that initially the embryo is sexless and only later 'chooses' which sex to be."
The first part is correct. Male or female genitalia develop in the same way. Essentially, everyone starts as a girl, and then, if the Y chromosome comes into play, a boy is formed. But this happens quite early—at the beginning of the embryonic stage.

And when I see a pregnant woman or simply know she's pregnant, even if there's no visible bump yet, a picture immediately forms in my mind of her already with her child, and I can somehow tell the baby's gender—by the clothes, the face somehow. And you know what, I've never been wrong =)

16 is definitely not nonsense. I told all my acquaintances exactly that, without any ultrasounds))). It's true, all the mums were initially slim, with no belly visible at all, and they all had great abs... Of course, if a lady, to put it mildly, had Rubenesque proportions even before pregnancy, you can't guess. And the fact that mothers of girls become less attractive is a fact, hormones...

I have a son. I only ate sweets, yogurts, and tangerines. My belly stuck out, and my waist was as thin during pregnancy as it is now. I didn't eat a single gram of salty food. I remember, I used to gulp down black coffee...

I'M 9 WEEKS ALONG... NATURALLY IT'S TOO EARLY TO FIND OUT THE GENDER... At 31 weeks, the ultrasound said it was a girl; at 34 weeks, a boy. A boy was born. I only craved meat, ate almost nothing else, my belly stuck out in front, and from behind, like Guest 9, my waist was still visible. My friend’s first was a boy—she carried him with her belly forward. Then she was pregnant with a girl and said that even three days before giving birth, no one offered her a seat on public transport; she looked like an aunt who had let herself go completely, not like a pregnant woman. But, author, there’s no guarantee these signs will work for you.

Bunny is right, usually the baby's gender is revealed in dreams, at least for all the women in our family, sometime before the 20th week when the ultrasound still doesn't show anything.

Oh, rubbish. The father determines the child's sex, depending on whether an X or Y sperm fertilises the egg. Some men have more X sperm, others more Y. It depends on many factors, including health condition.

I ate tangerines and berry ice cream. Not a single gram of anything salty. The morning sickness was monstrous, lasting right up until the birth. My belly was high and very pointed. My lips were full, my skin flawless. Not a single stretch mark. I never swelled up. The result—two girls. The ultrasound technicians were never wrong.

The shape and size of the belly don't indicate anything at all. And abdominal muscles have nothing to do with it. A lot can depend on where the fetus is attached and along which wall the placenta is positioned. Everything else is purely individual. You can be as big as a blimp and give birth to a low-weight baby, or you can have a tiny belly and give birth to a 4 kg baby. It's impossible to guess the number of children, their weight, let alone the gender, by looking at the belly.

Throughout my entire pregnancy, I could only eat tomatoes and cucumbers; any kind of meat made me feel completely nauseous. I also felt extremely sleepy all the time and was barely awake. I had a girl. Interestingly, during my second pregnancy, which ended in a medically indicated abortion, I craved salty herring from the very beginning and ate about three to four pieces a day, even though I generally don’t like fish, especially salted fish. So, what does that point to—a boy or a girl?

45 And what difference does it make after an abortion? Goodness, what cynicism.
On topic. You can actually tell somewhat by the shape of the belly. If it's "pointed forward" — it's a boy; if it "spreads wide" — it's a girl. None of my ultrasounds revealed the gender, but all my acquaintances insisted in unison, "definitely a boy — angular belly." And that's exactly how it turned out. No particular food cravings were noted. Neither salty nor sweet.

And a very, very good doctor told me it's a boy. The term was early, and it was too soon for an ultrasound to determine the gender. After listening to the heartbeat, she said that boys' heartbeats are kind of more active and stronger))) And the endocrinologist said at 9 weeks that it would be a boy)

I'm intrigued by dreams. At 24 weeks, we clearly saw a girl. A month before conception, I dreamt of twins. At 2 or 3 months of pregnancy, I dreamt of twins again. According to the ultrasound, there's one baby. Although twins are quite possible given my family history. And now I keep dreaming that I gave birth to a boy, and my pram is blue. I have another ultrasound in a week (at 34 weeks) – we'll see if the one at 24 weeks was mistaken.
