No, Duphaston can't affect it... as far as I know, it increases progesterone levels but not HCG... so most likely you are PREGNANT!!!!!!

Today marks the 8th day of the delay; the test showed nothing yesterday, but today the doctor confirmed the pregnancy, saying it's definite, though it's still very early. I've been reading various forums and I just can't figure out how some people get positive test lines 3-10 days after ovulation. My doctor only scheduled an ultrasound for two weeks from now. HCG starts rising 14 days after ovulation in humans. That's how it is.

And I'm not getting any results. A week has passed. I'll wait for my period. I even took an hCG test. I'm disappointed.

Can it really show that quickly?!

I'm amazed at the nonsense some people write... supposedly the test shows a result 3-5 days after ovulation... that's physically impossible!!!! So you're either mixing up the day of ovulation, or conception happened in the previous cycle! In my first pregnancy, the test showed positive 2 days before my period.

My last period was on the 24th, and it ended on the 4th of March. I had unprotected intercourse on the 8th, 11th, and 12th of March. Could I be pregnant??!!!! My period was due around the 26th (it's been almost 2 weeks now).

I completely agree with you!!! hCG in a pregnant woman's body starts to be released 7-10 days after ovulation. That is, from the moment the embryo attaches to the uterine wall.

My period was due on January 1st—right before my expected period, and today is January 13th, still no period and only one line showing. My cycle is generally 31–37 days, averaging 34 days, but today is already day 45 of my cycle. I'm really hoping for that second line; I'll update later on how it goes. ))
