No, Duphaston cannot affect it... as far as I know, it increases progesterone levels but not HCG... so most likely you are PREGNANT!!!!!!

Today marks the 8th day of the delay; the test showed nothing yesterday, but today the doctor confirmed the pregnancy, saying it's definite, but it's still very early. I'm reading various forums and I just can't figure out how some people get positive test lines 3-10 days after ovulation. My doctor only scheduled an ultrasound for two weeks from now. HCG starts rising 14 days after ovulation in humans. That's how it is.

And it's not showing for me. A week has passed. I'll wait for my period. I even took an hCG test. I'm disappointed.

I'm amazed by the nonsense some people write... supposedly the test shows a result 3-5 days after ovulation... that's physically impossible!!!! So you're either confusing the day of ovulation, or conception happened in the previous cycle! In my first pregnancy, the test showed positive 2 days before my period.

I completely agree with you!!! hCG in a pregnant woman's body starts being produced 7-10 days after ovulation occurs. That is, from the moment the embryo attaches to the uterine wall.

I had my period on January 1st—right before my expected period, and today is January 13th, but my period still hasn't come, and there's only one line on the test. My cycle is usually 31–37 days, averaging 34 days, but today is already the 45th day of my cycle. I'm really hoping for that second line; I'll update you later on what happens. ))
