There is a medication called "Driptane," but it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Oh dear, I feel for you. And then to go through childbirth after that :-(

The gynaecologist should have referred you for an examination, either an X-ray or something else, I read about it once.

And it is treated, and surgery is performed, but it's not the gynaecologist who handles this; it's the one who treats the urinary system, the urologist?

The procedure is performed with a laser. It's a very quick correction without the need for a hospital stay.

However, the procedure is paid. You should consult a urologist, not a gynaecologist; they will advise you.

You should see a urologist.

They will likely schedule urodynamic testing (UDT) for you.

Did she recommend exercises to you, and have you been doing them? (They say that squeezing the muscles, as if holding back urination, helps.)

Whatever is being said here, you should definitely go to a urologist. A gynaecologist won't help here; it's not their specialty. You'll need to get some tests done and will be sent for an ultrasound of the bladder. You need to act and get everything sorted out quickly!

We'll cure you, just reach out!

I had a similar problem! I also struggled with this a lot. Eventually, I found out about the urology clinic at Hospital No. 50. I was treated by Dr. Gvozdev M.Y., had surgery, and haven't thought about the issue since. I would recommend consulting him. urinary incontinence

If you are not planning further reproduction, the most effective treatment for urinary incontinence will be the placement of a TVT sling.

TVT is a thing of the past; nowadays, there are mini-slings like Ophira, which are cheaper and better than TVT. It's less invasive to the body. Ophira has really helped me a lot. And if you're planning to have more children, it's better to go with Urodex gel because there's no point in inserting a sling since it's thought that it might get damaged after childbirth.

It is treatable with the Intragup Home Urologist device; this device is certified and licensed, holding medical approval. Call 89260633123 or the landline +7(495)9730340 from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays. The original device costs around 4000 roubles with no additional expenses for medication; treatment lasts about 2 months, and both symptoms and the disease disappear.

I have a similar issue as well. Even at work, I feel uncomfortable about it; the urge to go to the toilet has become more frequent, and I feel somewhat awkward leaving my workstation so often for this reason. It urgently needs treatment. My friend recently visited Podolskaya at Frau Clinic for a different issue, but still. She managed to resolve her problem. I hope it helps me too. So, I'll share what the gynecologist recommended.

For several years, I suffered from the issue of urinary incontinence. In our Russian mindset, it's a taboo subject. I confided in my gynaecologist, expressing my fear of surgical intervention. The doctor recommended a new laser procedure for treatment. I was apprehensive, but after undergoing a series of tests, I went to see Dr. Maria Mikhailovna Kuznetsova. Maria Mikh. is a young doctor, but one can sense her professionalism. Her kind, encouraging smile and pleasant tone of voice immediately put me at ease. The doctor meticulously takes the medical history and instils confidence in a positive outcome. Before, during, and after the procedure, she explains everything in detail. The procedure is performed with personalised equipment and instruments, with step-by-step explanations provided. The doctor empathises and engages with the patient. The procedure isn't lengthy, and you quickly forget about it, as after the first and second sessions, there were only slight pulling pains. The third procedure was painless. Maria Mikhailovna has already performed three procedures on me. Over eight months, there have been remarkable improvements: the frequency of urges has decreased, and the incontinence has almost disappeared. I can run and jump without fear of embarrassment. I live in Krasnodar but fly to St. Petersburg for the procedures. Maria Mikhailovna regularly calls herself to check on my well-being. I am very grateful to Maria Mikhailovna for effectively treating my problem. Wishing her creative victories in achieving her professional goals. Stay healthy and happy.

I've already recommended a product called Urodex to some girls here somewhere – it's just relevant for me right now, so I'm recommending it. Kegel exercises don't always help, and getting a sling inserted – what if you're still planning to have children? And there aren't many contraindications.

Half of women live with this((
I use a pelvic floor muscle trainer.
I bought it online. mira.nnovo.ru
It's been 4 weeks so far, I like it. I practice for 20 minutes in the evening before bed. Give it a try.

Treating urinary incontinence with exercises or pills makes little sense. It might help at an early stage, but later on... it's unlikely to be effective. More serious methods are needed here, such as injections. It's not as scary as it seems. Especially since there are excellent drugs available now, like Reneall, which are highly effective in tackling this problem. I have personally had Reneall injections, so I know what I'm talking about. The urinary incontinence was literally cured right after the procedures. And it's not a miracle, just the effect of the medication.

Galina, could you please write where you underwent the laser treatment? Did it help with incontinence right away or not? I have stress incontinence and want to go for laser treatment; they say it takes 1, maximum 2 procedures. The cost is around 17-20 thousand per procedure, but I want to go with confidence that it will help. There are no reviews online.

Girls! I'm also suffering from this issue. My gynaecologist recommended laser treatment. I looked for reviews online but couldn't find any, as the technologies are new. I'm going for the procedure tomorrow. I'm really hoping for a good result, and I'll write back about how it goes. And please, if any of you have had it done, do share your experiences – the information is much needed and might help many avoid surgery!

I have been suffering from this issue for over 10 years. I'll be honest—living with it became more unbearable with each passing day. A huge thank you to Dr. Shaduri Vano Romanovich, who restored my quality of life. The doctor has golden hands. I spent a long time searching for a specialist myself and couldn't bring myself to have the operation. This problem won't resolve on its own. Turn to good specialists. Good luck!

Girls, it's been exactly two months since my surgery. The real deal. I'm writing this review.

My issues with stress urinary incontinence started after my first childbirth (my eldest is already 14), but it was still bearable back then. And, as usual, it felt awkward to bring something like this up with doctors.

After my second childbirth (7 years ago), for about two weeks, I was literally leaking with every step I took; I couldn't even go outside. All the doctors just brushed it off casually—saying it would pass, that it was normal.

Time and Kegel exercises helped a bit, but going anywhere without panty liners was out of the question... Any sneeze, cough, sometimes even laughter or physical exertion caused urine leakage, regardless of how full my bladder was.

I read, read, and read some more... In the end, I diagnosed myself with a prolapse of the anterior vaginal wall. Doctors at the polyclinic tried to talk me out of surgery—yes, they said, there is a prolapse, but only first degree, people live with that, and what if the surgery goes badly. Gynecological surgeons, on the other hand, were all for cutting straight away, not waiting for peritonitis (lol).

I hesitated because I knew I wouldn't be able to sit for months, and my job is as sedentary as it gets.

One day, my husband and I had a row, and in the heat of the moment, he deeply offended me by saying I was "stretched out down there" to an awful extent, unsatisfying, and all that... That was the push I needed.

I went to a private clinic to see a gynecological surgeon (a woman) and explained the situation. I told her that 1. I'm suffering from incontinence, and 2. I want plastic surgery.

The doctor confirmed a first-degree prolapse. The cause was internal tears in the muscles of the anterior wall that had healed crookedly and unevenly (so the reasons for incontinence can probably vary—I've seen people here suggesting to see a urologist instead of a gynecologist). And they needed to be gathered back together through surgery. This would strengthen and tighten the anterior wall, at least reducing the incontinence problem, if not eliminating it entirely, plus stitching up the posterior wall (that's the plastic part, for narrowing).

Second part:)
I realised on my own a long time ago that the issue was specifically with my vaginal muscles. During Kegel exercises, only my posterior muscles were working. The anterior ones weren't functioning at all...

They quoted me the amount, confirmed that I wouldn't be able to sit for about a month. I left to save up money and decide on a date. I chose the whole of July.
The operation went excellently, performed in the evening; the anaesthesia was brilliant, I slept through the whole night without any sensations, only feeling dizzy when I woke up. There was a catheter in my bladder straight away, so I didn't have to get up.
I spent 6 days in the hospital to be under observation and with enforced bed rest. The catheter was removed on the fifth day, and that's when I got cystitis - a nasty thing, I think everyone knows about it), apparently from bladder irritation. But that was the most unpleasant part of my whole story. I was expecting some post-operative pains - but almost nothing hurt...
On the eighth day (I had already come from home), the stitches were removed from my perineum - they put them in just in case, to prevent the perineum from stretching unnecessarily, for example, when going to the toilet for a bowel movement.
The internal stitches are self-dissolving.

Part three :)
Once a week, I went for check-ups three more times, and at home, I constantly washed and dabbed with a pink solution of potassium permanganate and Betadine for external disinfection. At home, I tried to lie down as much as possible. When I went out for a short walk in the first week, after half an hour, I felt a slight pulling sensation inside, so I decided to be careful with everything—better safe than sorry!

The outcome of the surgery: I cough, I sneeze—and I don’t wet myself! Every time, I wait with a bit of apprehension, thinking, "What if?" Soon, I’ll go to shaping classes—we’ll test it under those conditions. A couple of times, I leaked a few drops when I really needed to go to the toilet—but the doctor said everything will fully settle down within six months, and that’s normal.

Recently, I tried starting Kegels again—my front wall muscles are moving—they’re working! So, girls, don’t be afraid of the surgery. I put it off for a long time, imagining some terrible pain and a difficult postoperative period—it’s all nonsense compared to what I’ve gained, honestly. And it wasn’t even half as scary as I had imagined. It won’t resolve on its own; you have to take the plunge.

P.S. A couple of days ago, my husband and I tried having sex. It’s still a bit painful for me—but it’s become so narrow! The external appearance—everything is so neatly closed, tightened up, where the "entrance" is—you can’t even see it, it wasn’t like that before.

Good luck, girls, don’t be afraid of anything!

Ladies! I suffered from this issue myself – constant urine leakage when coughing or sneezing. I was so worried that I even held back laughter to avoid increasing abdominal pressure. When I mentioned it to my gynaecologist, she said I should see a urologist, and definitely before pregnancy.

I decided to take control and not just go to anyone (as I already had negative experiences with doctors by then: from misdiagnosis to incorrect treatment, leading to the condition becoming chronic). So, I highly recommend Dr. Anton Gennadievich Boriskin, a urologist from the First Medical Institute (if I'm not mistaken, room 330 at 17 Leo Tolstoy Street). What really impressed me was how he communicates with patients – he explained everything about the condition and treatment principles in such detail, it all became so clear. And most importantly, that problem is now in the past.

After a difficult childbirth with tears, I developed an issue with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). I regularly performed Kegel exercises, along with using a Kegel trainer, and underwent a perineal irrigation procedure, but there was only a very slight improvement. After suffering this way for 9 months and researching possible treatment options, I decided on the IncontiLase laser procedure. I had it done in St. Petersburg. So far, only one session. The procedure consists of three stages of treatment. In the first stage, they treated at a depth of 10 cm, and there was no pain. In the second stage, the treatment was at a depth of 3 cm, and I must say, it was very, very sensitive. Tolerable, of course, especially compared to my 14-hour labour)))) but quite painful. The doctor said it's because the area being treated is much larger. And finally, the third stage—at the vaginal entrance—was bearable. According to the doctor, three sessions are needed because, besides incontinence, I also have prolapse, which won't be resolved in just two sessions. But, what can I say, a week has passed since the procedure, and I've only noticed an improvement in the intimate area—it's tighter inside. And that's it. In terms of incontinence, I haven't noticed any significant effect yet(((((((((((((((( I had such high hopes for this procedure""" The doctor said I should have felt the effect immediately. But so far, nothing.

I'm still hopeful about going for the second procedure. As for the third one... I'll see how it goes. If I don't see much result, I won't spend the money. And then I'll have to agree to surgery. Another thing: with the range of issues I have, I can't lift more than 5 kg for life (but what about a child who already weighs over 10 kg?), I have to monitor my bowel movements to avoid constipation, and do Kegel exercises every day. Yes, I was diagnosed with moderate incontinence and stage 1-2 vaginal wall prolapse. So, my conclusion is: IncontiLase helps with mild incontinence, which can be fully treated on your own by regularly doing Kegel exercises daily. For moderate cases, it might help slightly or not at all... depending on your luck. It doesn't treat severe cases at all. Of course, I'm still hoping that a week is too short a time, that new collagen is still in the process of forming... Anyway, we'll see how it goes in the future, but for now, I can't say definitively about this procedure. Who else has had this laser treatment? Did it help after the first session? Or after 2-3?

Alice, I believe that laser treatment is purely a scam. After childbirth, pelvic organ prolapse occurs, which causes incontinence. Laser won't help with that. You need to have a mesh inserted.

Mikhail Yuryevich Gvozdev is a Urologist with a capital 'U'!!! A God-given doctor with golden hands!!! I am overjoyed to have been in the care of such a professional in his field. On 25 October 2016, I and three other women underwent bladder surgery with him, where a 'sling' was fitted. We are all absolutely delighted!!!! The surgery took place at the Urology Department of the Yevdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry under the Russian Ministry of Health, at 1A Kuskovskaya Street. The hospital itself is beyond praise: new, clean, homely and cosy, and the staff—so wonderful, responsive, and friendly—no words can adequately describe them. All the doctors are attentive, and I particularly want to highlight Igor Anatolyevich Revu—a great professional, a young specialist, the future of urology!!! The head of the department, Alexander Nikolayevich Bernikov, left no one unattended, a top-tier expert in his field!!! This hospital has gathered an excellent team of doctors and medical staff; I am very grateful to you for your work!!! Ladies and gentlemen, if, God forbid, you have urological issues—head there, and rest assured, they will definitely help you!!! Once again, THANK YOU!!!!

There are practically no reviews online about laser treatment for SNM! I deliberately shared my experience)) maybe it will be useful to someone... so they don't set their hopes too high on this procedure. As for Gvozdev, I've read about him. Yes, he's a doctor sent from heaven. But getting surgery without a Moscow residency is only possible on a paid basis. The Moscow price tag for treatment is sky-high...

By the way, prolapse and incontinence can occur independently of each other—after childbirth, one might develop either one or the other, and those who are 'lucky,' like me, get both at once.

The exercises are quite difficult to do correctly straight away, few people understand which muscles need training and how to feel them, and the girls from video tutorials online can't attach their head to yours or convey the sensations. It's better to do this with a trainer, one that shows whether the exercise is being performed correctly or not. An excellent thing in this regard is the kgoal trainer. It vibrates slightly during training if the exercise is done correctly. And it's fun to exercise with it, all exercises are made as games on a smartphone, and it takes at most 15 minutes for all this.

I had issues with urination, specifically with controlling it. I could even leak a little when coughing or laughing. If I relaxed just a bit, I'd literally find myself in a puddle. On a friend's advice, I went to the Urology and Andrology Clinic at Goncharny Proezd 6. And I must say, I didn't make a mistake with my choice. The clinic is truly excellent. The treatment course they prescribed for me started working practically on the second day. After that, I followed the recommendations just to complete the program fully and avoid any relapses. Now, I don't even think back to those times when I was unwell. Thank you to the doctors at the Urology and Andrology Clinic.

Elena, if you're considering this procedure, I must say that after two sessions, I've seen absolutely no effect. It still leaks just as it did before. It's been a complete waste of money. I'm now preparing for a TVT-O surgery. The operating urologist-surgeon told me he doesn't understand how a laser could help with incontinence when the muscles aren't functioning at all.

To restore the inhibitory function of the bladder, it is necessary to undergo several rounds of 40-hour dry fasting. Afterwards, limit water intake and exclude tea and coffee. From morning until 12 o'clock, practice dry fasting.

To teach (restore) the bladder to value fluid, one must undertake a 40-hour dry fast, which will reveal prospects in this matter.

I've had it done twice – this laser treatment is a real scam. If you don't believe me, this "theory" doesn't hold up in practice. They'll tell you your muscles have tightened, your mucosa has rejuvenated – they have plenty of arguments to praise the laser, after all, they're doctors who've learned the right information and how to present it. After the third session, they'll schedule you for a fourth, and then blame you for not feeling any improvement. A very quick and easy way to make money: they inserted the laser into the vagina – by the way, it was painful and burning for me – and after about 20 minutes, they removed it from the same place, sent the woman home, and pocketed a tidy sum. No cutting, no real treatment, just holding a laser inside the vagina, no need to put in much effort. Doesn't it strike you as odd that there are no positive reviews to be found? There you go! And it starts with lies, like the procedure is painless, you only feel warmth. I even thought it would be warm and pleasant. But it was painful and burning. To which the doctor said I have high sensitivity. They have an argument for everything. I genuinely got the impression that I'm the only one so sensitive, and how do others even feel orgasms then? They lie from the start, claiming the procedure is painless, which means they lie about everything else. Lies!!!! Look for good and honest doctors and opt for surgery instead.

Good evening. I am 36 years old. When I was 17-18, after having cystitis, I started noticing leakage, especially during sexual intercourse. After giving birth to my first child, I began using panty liners at the age of 24. At 33, I gave birth to my second child, who was large. Three years later, I feel a worsening condition: urine leaks when I sneeze, cough, or run (very heavily). I am very ashamed to see a doctor, but my quality of life is deteriorating every day. Now, I just walk around and it flows!!! Please help, I don't know where to turn...

Ladies, you probably didn't notice, but Vladimir above gave you some sound advice: Fasting! I myself treated my stomach issues with fasting, suffering from incontinence (during sex and jumping). It was my first time fasting, and I went straight for 10 days—my stomach was in a lot of pain, and the gastroenterologist couldn't cure me in 3 years! So, these 10 days came easily to me. And when I ended the fast, not only are my stomach and intestines no longer bothering me at all, but I also lost 10 kg, and the incontinence is gone! I can jump now, and sex is comfortable. I didn't even know that incontinence could be treated with fasting too. Fasting forever! :)
