I want to clarify that it was the window frame that was tapped, not the glass. What's the point of this? Just like how one knocks on wood with a hammer, that's exactly how the sparrow was tapping, and so loudly too.

16 years ago a tit knocked on the window, it felt unpleasant. I came to work (3 km from home) and again a tit knocked. The next day my husband and his friend drowned while fishing 😞

This morning I was sitting in the kitchen drinking tea, home alone. I hear a knock on the window, go over, but don't see anyone. Then I suddenly waved my hand and look: a tit flew to the tree in front of my window to join another tit. This really freaked me out.
Now I'm sitting at the computer in the bedroom, looking out the window, and the tit is sitting on the mosquito net staring into the window. Well, so it wouldn't start knocking again, I shooed it away.
What could this mean?? And what should I do now?? I'm superstitious, and I'm scared, afraid of all these kinds of things :(((
