Does anyone know why you can't drink alcohol for 7-10 days after botox? And not even 0.3 beer? It's just written everywhere, but why you can't - it's not clear.

Здравствуйте! Ограничиваем алкоголь в первые сутки после Ботокса и в последующие 10 дней не рекомендуется очень сильно напиваться)) Расширяются сосуды и в первые часы это не нужно, так препарат может распространяться куда нам не надо, в соседние мышечные волокна или просто улететь в кровь и вымыться из организма. Тогда эффект будет не тот который ожидаем. Последующие дни не рекомендуем принимать алкоголь, чтобы не спровоцировать отечность лица, которая может быть как временная реакция на введение Ботокса, а алкоголь эту реакцию еще и усилит. И да в этой рекомендации есть момент перестраховки, все очень индивидуально! Кому-то ничего не будет, у кого-то может измениться результат или будет отечность.

You cannot because alcohol causes blood vessels to dilate and raises body temperature, which is not at all desirable after Botox injections. Generally, all heat exposures are not recommended, such as tanning beds, saunas, and so on.

I drank on the 3rd day after the injection, woke up in the morning with a headache thinking I was going to lose my mind, and nausea like in the 3rd-4th month of pregnancy, and this from 50g of good vodka with good snacks over the evening. Three Spasmalgon tablets aren't helping, I can't bend my head from nausea, all day I'm on the floor drinking apple juice. VERY BAD. I don't care about the results from the injections anymore, I just want the headache to go away (drank on Saturday, today is Monday). Be careful with yourselves.
