Girls, my lower back is a total disaster.... I'm 14 weeks along, and my lower back hurts insanely all the time!!! Sometimes it just seizes up and that's it, whether I'm standing or lying down, when it seizes up I just sob from the pain... I can't even lie on my back with my legs stretched out straight! It grabs me right around the 'tailbone' area... how do I deal with this trouble??? I can't take it anymore, it's absolutely unbearable... ((
I also suffered with my lower back throughout the entire pregnancy. The only thing that helped was lying on my side with a pillow under my belly.

Wear a support belt, it will ease the load on your lower back. I started wearing one even before I had much of a belly, but it was hard to walk without it. Just make sure to consult with your doctor first.

Rejoice that you don't have any nastiness like hematomas or detachment. Lower back pain is nothing.

It hurts too. And aches. I'm enduring it. I'll only ask about the brace at the end of January ((if I don't forget as usual.

14 weeks and already back pain? What could be causing this, especially since there's barely even a belly yet...

Mine started around the same time too—I couldn’t sit, lie down, stand up, or straighten my leg. I just massaged it and rested, and by the 20th week, it went away. But now I can’t sit because it feels like my spine is falling apart. I’m off to get a support belt, and I’d recommend you do the same.

Who knows, honestly. My back hurt throughout my entire pregnancy too. Progesterone somehow affects that. From 18 weeks, I wore a support belt, otherwise it would have been a total disaster. Don't worry, author, once you give birth, it'll pass. Although, after giving birth, I went to see an osteopath; he adjusted something, and now I feel fantastic.

I've been suffering for a month too!!! Now it's week 20... It's getting worse and worse every day... The doctor told me to buy a Kuznetsov applicator and lie on it... Nothing else is allowed, I wanted to go for acupuncture but that's not allowed either! Sometimes I can't even get up on my own, I crawl on all fours...(((

Thank you all for your responses. It seems like about two days have passed, but I understand that this is just the "calm before the storm," and everything will start all over again. I decided to find out in advance how to deal with the "enemy." My back has been hurting since week 8, and at first, I thought, "Well, I'm pregnant, so it must be normal." But when I was bathing the dog after a walk, I bent down to pick her up, and that was it—I froze in place. I could somehow stand on one leg, but on two, it was just tears.

Believe me, when it really hits you, you don't know what you'd prefer! Well, God willing, let this be the most serious problem of mine during this pregnant time))

That's exactly how it is for me too, getting up is the hardest part... I feel like some old woman!!! If my husband didn't lift me, there would probably be moments when I'd just lie there like a corpse...(( Massage doesn't help either((

I experienced lower back pain towards the end of my first pregnancy, again at the end of my second pregnancy, and after giving birth. After childbirth, I performed special spinal exercises recommended by Dr. Bubnovsky, and following those, I also used a health disc. With 2-3 weeks of daily exercises, I recovered. However, my second birth was via caesarean section, so I only started exercising a month after the surgery.
But my lower back pain wasn't as severe as the author's; it was manageable.

This is uterine tone, you must get an IV drip, go to the doctor. For those with the placenta at the front, the stomach hurts during tone. And for those with the placenta on the back wall of the uterus, the back hurts.

Most likely you're right, I was also surprised why my lower back hurts so much at such an early stage. The stomach is still small and there's no significant load on the lower back. Author, ask your gynaecologist about uterine tone and don't delay with this.

Yes, there was tone at the beginning, but I had a screening a week ago and there was no tone, even though those were exactly the days when it was hurting the most!

I also had pain during my first pregnancy, during labour, and after it, and now during my second pregnancy, it's aching. To the point of tears. After giving birth, I still had to carry the baby, and it was hell for my back. After breastfeeding, I had an MRI, and it showed both a protrusion and a cyst, and (I forgot what it's called) fusion of the vertebrae with the coccyx. That's where all the pain was coming from. At least now I know what's hurting.
And it was also mentioned above that progesterone affects this. So forget about "timelines"—many people here are surprised. Everyone is different. No two pregnancies are the same.

Wear a support belt, it helped me a lot.
Only the baby should be in the head-down position. Until they assume that position, there are restrictions on using the support belt.

I'm also lying down for the second day, my lower back hurts, and I feel the tension. Papaverine, No-Spa, valerian—all together. Girls, what else helps relieve tension at 17 weeks?

Magnesium in gynecology. No-Spa didn't help me at all.
Nadia, good afternoon! Try the Kuznetsov applicator. It helps me a lot with back pain and relaxes the muscles. I lie on it for half an hour every day before bed, and when the pain is severe, there's simply no better remedy. Wishing you good health!
During pregnancy, many suffer from lower back pain. Mine also started to ache even before my belly was visible. The Dorsaplast plaster helped me – I applied it for 12 hours overnight. It works well – relieves pain and inflammation.

Well, of course, the baby's growing, there's more amniotic fluid, so it's heavy, hence the back pain. I remember there were days when I could barely get out of bed; Versatis really helped, it's this lidocaine patch, it eases the pain well. Pregnant women can use it because it acts locally, so if it gets really painful, I'd highly recommend it.
Poor us, girls!! My back is hurting terribly too, and today I slipped, barely managed to stay upright, and pulled a muscle in my groin—now I'm just lying here completely. 😣

I had a haematoma at 6 weeks. Everything turned out fine, touch wood.

Hello, is it really okay to use a plaster during pregnancy?
