Unpleasant vaginal …

Unpleasant vaginal odour

Hi girls, please help me out) today I noticed an unpleasant odour from my vagina, no more discharge than usual, no itching. I occasionally get stomach pains, like during my period. A couple of days ago I was walking around the house barefoot, even though it's quite cold, and my period is due any day now. Could the smell be related to me getting a chill? And if so, what might help? Thanks in advance!

There's no such thing, you most likely have some kind of infection, but don't worry, it might not be serious.

Sit in hot water and wash the area several times a day. If it doesn't clear up soon and more symptoms appear, then go to a gynaecologist.

You can either take Trichopol orally or use suppositories.

Go and get a swab test at the gynaecologist's. It doesn't cost anything. It's most likely thrush, which is quite common at this time of year. And if you haven't been checked in a long time, it could well be an old, untreated hidden infection that's flared up.

Do not drink anything - you will only mask the symptoms and they won't be able to identify the pathogen. A gynaecologist won't help here - go to a venereologist. It could be a flare-up of chronic gonorrhoea or chlamydial infections from hypothermia, or your partner may have brought an infection - it could be anything, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, gardnerella. Under no circumstances should you take antibiotics - otherwise you'll drive it into a chronic form. You need to get an accurate diagnosis. And your partner must be treated too, otherwise they will reinfect you.

It seems to me that this is bacterial vaginosis... or Gardnerella.

Any tissue decay smells like shit. But not every microbial swelling smells like shit.

Lactobacillosis (lactobacillar vaginitis) smells like fresh milk; Gardnerella and Trichomonas, even on a vegetable diet, still smell like fish; consumed rotten stuff can be excreted in lubrication and smell. Eating cherries can sometimes mask the smell, while indulging in lemons can even alter the taste of the vulva :)

Microflora from the floor on fragile skin would have a putrid-egg odour.

In any case, the woman needs to see a venereologist and undergo treatment together with her partner.

Do you even think about what you're writing? If she has inflammation, heating is absolutely not allowed! The original poster is going to get terrible advice from you!!

Hypothermia and a weakened immune system could have disrupted the vaginal flora and caused inflammation(( Hence the odour. It's quite simple to treat: either Mycogynax or Terzhinan suppositories, and for further prevention of such conditions – regular use of Vagilak intimate soap. Vagilak contains extracts of chamomile and calendula plus lactic acid, which consistently maintains the correct flora and the number of beneficial bacteria, and they prevent microbes and fungi from developing and causing vaginosis. It's particularly suitable for those who are tired of dealing with thrush, vaginosis, discomfort, unpleasant discharge, and itching. So it's all quite straightforward)

Get tested for hidden infections at the dermatovenerological dispensary, then take the test results to the gynaecologist. It's too early to talk about a venereologist yet; let the gynaecologist have a look first.

Go and see a gynaecologist. They will refer you for tests or to another specialist (a venereologist). Do not take any medication that hasn't been prescribed by a doctor, as this could 'skew' the picture and the test results may be inaccurate.

The girl apparently meant that she hadn't douched for a couple of days - but that, by the way, also causes dysbiosis if one douches frequently.

Douching shouldn't be done at all - it disrupts the flora. I haven't douched for 20 years and everything is fine.

Girls, the main thing is not to worry! It's 100% curable! I used to have a terrible odour. Being around people was incredibly stressful for me. I got tests done—everything was fine. So, what did I do? No pills! Just try to watch your diet! Vegetables are a must! Cut out crisps and cola! Drink berry compotes: cranberry, cherry, blackcurrant, and others. Oatmeal! Honey! The results won't come immediately, but they will definitely come! I now wash my knickers two or three times and throw them away... I have to buy underwear often. Only cotton! Externally—Boro Plus! Exercise is also helpful in such cases. Overall, vaginosis is a sign that the whole body is unwell! And I'm convinced that you need to recover completely! Pay attention to your lifestyle as a whole! By the way, I quit smoking too! And I don't regret it :):) May everything pass for you! Good luck!

I completely agree! It's certainly very unpleasant, but not frightening. Indeed, hypothermia and a weakened immune system are the main causes, not hidden infections! I'll actually try that soap for prevention. Thank you very much for the advice!:)

I've already cum all over this thread, it's too late to change tack and don't ask for it inside you.

I'm only 14 and I also have an unpleasant vaginal odour. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mum, and I don't want to go to a gynaecologist either. Can you please help me with some advice on whether I can deal with this on my own?

Marina! Don't be shy to tell your mum if necessary. This isn't an uncommon issue for girls and is often related to a weakened immune system. It's important to treat it promptly. Good luck!

Tell me, if I haven't been to the doctor and I have discharge with an unpleasant smell, can I treat myself with your advice using suppositories and Miramistin?

Self-treatment will only make it worse; you might never get rid of it altogether. Only see a doctor! There's nothing to be afraid of; there's no need to be scared.

It's one thing when it's a natural scent, but quite another when it's due to the proliferation of pathogenic microflora causing the odour. Identifying the cause of the infection is essential – you need to have all the swabs taken and wait for the results. From my own experience, I can say that an unpleasant smell is the first sign of bacterial vaginosis starting for me. It doesn't happen often, but it does occur. Salvagin gel is the solution. A gynaecologist recommended it to me once. Now, it's the only thing I use when needed.

For all women, you should know, it's not advisable to take a bath, meaning lying in hot water. Only showers are recommended. Hot water can heat up the organs and may lead to the growth of various growths in the body if they are present.

I apologise... I have the same issue with the odour... I personally wash constantly..., but whether with soap or without... some say that soap can also cause an infection.

And then... I got all the tests done, everything's fine except for a positive result for thrush... Could it really be like that? There's no itching, the discharge is normal without lumps... only the smell...

Ladies, don't be afraid of doctors. It's better to be safe than to suffer for the rest of your life! Make sure to visit a gynaecologist at the first signs of discomfort or unusual odours, and for prevention, at least once a year without exception for all girls and women!!! Love yourselves, girls—I don't want to scare you, but any unpleasant symptoms could range from minor issues like thrush and others, to sexually transmitted diseases that can easily become chronic and cause infertility, as well as conditions like fibroids, inflammation of the appendages, sclerotic (poly)cystic disease, malignant growths, and many, many more. So it's better to lose a little time visiting a doctor and live peacefully than to spend your whole life going from doctor to doctor and paying large sums for treatment! Good luck to you—a healthy mind in a healthy body!

Please help me, I have an unpleasant odour occurring about once a month. I keep taking Trichopol continuously as soon as it appears, but then it starts again. I'm afraid to go to the gynaecologist! Please advise why it goes away and then starts again. I wash 2-4 times a day.

Same story here, all tests came back negative, no hidden infections, but the odour persists; only Hexicon provides relief.

And what if a virgin still has an odour? I've been to the gynaecologist, who said there are no infections, and I wash after every toilet visit. What should I do?
