Unpleasant vaginal …

Unpleasant vaginal odor

Hey girls, help me out please) today I noticed an unpleasant odor from my vagina, no more discharge than usual, no itching. Occasionally my stomach hurts, like during my period. A couple days ago I was walking around the house barefoot even though it's pretty cold, my period should come any day now. Could the odor be related to me getting chilled? And if yes, what might help? Thanks in advance!

No way, that can't be. You probably have some kind of infection, but don't worry, it might not be serious.

Sit in hot water and wash the area several times a day. If it doesn't go away soon and more symptoms appear, go to a gynecologist.

You can either take Trichopol orally or use suppositories.

Go and get a swab test at the gynecologist. It doesn't cost any money. It's most likely a yeast infection, which is common this time of year. And if you haven't been checked in a long time, it could be an old untreated hidden infection that has surfaced.

Do not drink anything - you will only mask the symptoms and they won't be able to identify the pathogen. A gynecologist won't help here - go to a venereologist. It's possible that chronic gonorrhea or chlamydial infections have flared up due to hypothermia, or your partner brought an infection - it could be anything, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, gardnerella. Under no circumstances should you take antibiotics - otherwise you'll drive it into a chronic form. You need to determine the exact diagnosis. And your partner must be treated too, otherwise they will reinfect you.

I think it's bacterial vaginosis... or Gardnerella.

Any tissue decay smells like shit. But not every microbial swelling smells like shit.

Lactobacillosis (lactobacillary vaginitis) smells like fresh milk; Gardnerella and Trichomonas, even on a vegetable diet, still smell like fish; consumed rotten stuff can be released in lubrication and smell. Eating cherries can sometimes mask the odor, while consuming lemons can even alter the taste of the vulva :)

Microflora from the floor on fragile skin would have a putrid-egg smell.

In any case, the woman needs to see a venereologist and get treated together with her partner.

Do you even think about what you're writing? If she has inflammation, heating is absolutely not allowed! You're giving terrible advice right now!!

Hypothermia and a weakened immune system could have disrupted the vaginal microflora and caused inflammation(( Hence the odor. This is treated quite simply: Micogynax or Terzhinan suppositories, plus for further prevention of such conditions - regular use of Vagilak intimate soap. Vagilak contains chamomile and calendula extracts plus lactic acid, which consistently maintains the proper microflora and population of beneficial bacteria, and they prevent microbes and fungi from developing and causing vaginosis. It's especially suitable for those tired of dealing with thrush, vaginosis, discomfort, unpleasant discharge, and itching. So it's all quite simple)

Get tested for hidden infections at the dermatovenerological dispensary, then take the test results to the gynecologist. It's too early to talk about a venereologist yet. Let the gynecologist examine first.

Go see a gynecologist. They will refer you for tests or to another specialist (a venereologist). Do not take any medications that are not prescribed by a doctor, as this can "skew" the picture and the test results may be inaccurate.

Sometimes I have that smell if a guy cums inside me and I don't wash for a couple of days.

The girl apparently meant that she hadn't douched for a couple of days - but that, by the way, also causes dysbiosis if you douche frequently.

You shouldn't douche at all - it disrupts the flora. I haven't douched for 20 years and everything is fine.

Girls, the main thing is not to worry! This is 100% curable! I used to have a terrible odor. Being around people was extremely stressful for me. I got tested—everything was fine. So, what did I do? No pills! Just try to watch your diet! Vegetables are a must! Get off chips and soda! Drink berry compotes: cranberry, cherry, currant, etc. Oatmeal! Honey! The results won't come right away, but they will definitely come! I now wash my underwear two or three times and throw them away... I have to buy new underwear often. Only cotton! For external use—Boro Plus! Exercise is also helpful in such cases. Overall, vaginosis is a signal that the whole body is unwell! And I'm convinced that you need to recover completely! Pay attention to your lifestyle as a whole! By the way, I quit smoking too! And I don't regret it :):) May everything work out for you! Good luck!

I completely agree! It's certainly very unpleasant, but not scary. Indeed, hypothermia and a weakened immune system are the main causes, not hidden infections! I'll try that soap, by the way, for prevention. Thank you very much for the advice!:)

I'm only 14 and I also have an unpleasant vaginal odor. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mom, and I don't want to go to a gynecologist either. Can you please help me with advice on whether I can handle this on my own?

Marina! Don't be embarrassed to tell your mom if necessary. This isn't an uncommon issue for girls and is often related to a weakened immune system. It's important to treat it promptly. Good luck!

Tell me, if I haven't been to the doctor and I have discharge with an unpleasant smell, can I treat myself with your advice using suppositories and Miramistin?

Self-treatment will only make it worse, and you might never get rid of it. Only go to the doctor! There's nothing scary about it; you don't need to be afraid.

It's one thing when it's a natural scent, but quite another when it's due to the proliferation of pathogenic microflora causing the odor. Identifying the cause of the infection is essential—get all the swabs done and wait for the results. From my experience, I can say that an unpleasant odor is the first sign of bacterial vaginosis starting for me. It doesn't happen often, but it does occur. Salvagin gel is a lifesaver. A gynecologist recommended it to me once. Now, that's the only thing I use when needed.

For all women, just so you know, taking baths—meaning lying in hot water—is not advisable. Only showers are recommended. Hot water can heat up the organs and cause various growths in the body to develop if they are present.

I apologize... I have the same issue with the odor... I personally shower constantly..., but whether with soap or without... some say that soap can also cause an infection.

And then... I got all the tests done, everything is fine except for a positive result for a yeast infection... Could it really be like that? There's no itching, the discharge is normal without any lumps... just the smell...

Girls, don't be afraid of doctors. It's better to be safe than to suffer for the rest of your life! Make sure to visit a gynecologist at the first signs of discomfort or unusual odors, and for prevention, at least once a year without exception for all girls and women!!! Love yourselves, ladies. I don't want to scare you, but any unpleasant symptoms could range from minor issues like yeast infections and others, to sexually transmitted diseases that can easily become chronic and cause infertility, as well as conditions like fibroids, adnexitis, sclerotic (poly)cystic disease, malignant growths, and many, many others. So it's better to spend a little time visiting a doctor and live peacefully than to spend your whole life going from doctor to doctor and paying large sums for treatment! Good luck to you—a healthy mind in a healthy body!

Please help me, I have an unpleasant odor that occurs about once a month. I keep taking Trichopol continuously as soon as it appears, but then it starts again. I'm afraid to go to the gynecologist! Please advise why it goes away and then starts again. I wash 2-4 times a day.

Same story here, all tests are negative, no hidden infections, but the odor persists; only Hexicon helps.

And what if a virgin smells? I've been to the gynecologist, she said there are no infections, and I wash after every bathroom visit. What should I do?
