Hello everyone! I have thrush, but my husband is arriving in two days, and I wouldn't want to feel discomfort or burning during sex... How can I cure thrush quickly? If I take a pill, will I be able to have sex afterwards, or do I need to wait for a certain period of time? And if not, what are the risks? Thanks in advance. (Previously, I treated it with suppositories and sitz baths, which were quite effective but took a long time.)
Well, who knows, the pill helped me the first time, it wasn't a particularly serious case of thrush. But the other times, the pills alone didn't work anymore—only in combination with suppositories and the like.

In any case, you need to take the pill (for example, "Diflucan") together with your husband, as he is most likely infected as well...

Cured in 2 days))
Fluconazole - one tablet + daily use of Lactacyd Femina intimate soap (restores the acid-alkaline balance). Bought everything at the pharmacy.
Oh, yes, and also - take the second Fluconazole tablet after your period)) To make sure it sticks)). Good luck))

I think I have thrush, which appeared after taking antibiotics (for quite a long time). This isn’t the first time for me... Posts 2, 3, 4 – thank you for the replies. If there are any more suggestions, please write them!

One tablet of fluconazole, and just to be safe, give one to your husband as well, and in a couple of days, you'll forget about the thrush.

A fluconazole tablet (brand names may vary), preferably a 150mg dose. Livarol suppositories - I've tried different ones, but with these, everything was fine by the second day, but to be sure, I completed the full course (that's 5 suppositories at night). They helped very well :-)

Buy Tinidazole from the pharmacy, it's an old, reliable remedy. Drink one pack, and after 24 hours, take another one just to be safe. No problems. I've taken it myself, I know there's no allergy. It's a sure thing.

Well, my doctor prescribed me Mycormax, Ginezol 7, Ozerlik, and some other suppositories, and none of them helped at all. I even took Difluzol, but the tests only got worse. I really don't know what to do anymore.

I always douched with chamomile for 2-3 days, and it was as if nothing had happened.

I am currently undergoing treatment. I didn't go to a doctor; I just went to a pharmacy and the assistant advised me on what to do and how. Firstly, to douche several times a day. There are special solutions—I'm using "Vaginal"—and she also said you can take one tablespoon of baking soda per litre of boiled water and douche with that. After the first douching, the itching went away, and life became easier. Besides that, vaginal tablets "Clotrimazole" twice a day. And abstain from sexual intercourse. It won't bring any joy or pleasure anyway. At least until you're cured.

Thrush bothers me about 2 weeks before my period... I'm at my wit's end... The doctor said that taking medication and using suppositories won't cure it, it will still appear before my period, but didn't say what to do... Can you suggest anything?

I was diagnosed with "chronic thrush." I've been to various doctors, there are no infections, I've tried every treatment imaginable, checked everything, even had my blood sugar tested. They told me to just accept it.

Hey there, I've read everything thoroughly, and honestly, I'm not sure if it's definitely thrush, but all the symptoms seem to match. This is my first time experiencing this, and I don't know what to do—I'm really worried.

I don't have any burning or itching, only white discharge, sometimes clear, and sometimes there's none at all. What should I do???
And whenever I go to the doctors, they tell me I'm sick with all kinds of diseases at once!

Girls, you need to go to the doctor right away! For any sexual health issues! I messed around and now I've got a diagnosis of infertility! Do you want that?! And if doctors don't help, go see a herbalist granny!

I went to the doctors... they prescribed 'clotrimazole', it didn't help, then 'hexicon', 'osarbon', 'ketarol', and something else... nothing helped in the end... I don't even know what to do... it feels like they themselves don't know what they're treating... I read here that fluconazole is effectively helpful, I'm thinking maybe it's worth trying...?

Last spring, I had thrush, and one tablet of Mycomax along with douching with a baking soda and water solution helped. Now I have thrush again, I took two tablets of Mycomax, but they aren't helping—either it's a counterfeit or my body has become resistant, even though a year has passed.
Ginezol 7 didn't help me at all! It only reduced it a little! And now it's started again! Only now in greater quantity and yellow in colour! Please advise what to do? Thank you in advance!
I've already tried everything and changed a bunch of doctors, they say I need to fix my gut flora. No sweets, but drink kefir and live bacteria. I tried, but couldn't last long without sweets and there it is again... the damn thing.

I tried Ginezol - it helps me the most (among suppositories), but it seems my body has gotten used to it - it's not very effective anymore. Pills don't help at all.
Has anyone heard of ASD 2?

Hello everyone =) I have candidiasis, as my gynaecologist told me... She prescribed Livarol, which made me feel worse... Then Ginoflor + Difluzol, and the itching and redness went away... But from the very beginning, I've been noticing some pimples that look similar... Is this also related to candidiasis??? Please help me, it's not letting me live normally... =((((((

I'm exhausted, all the signs of thrush.
On top of that, there's terrible itching and burning, and sex is uncomfortable.
I don't know what to do, and I'm scared to go to the doctor %)

It seems this is incurable; no one has given any sensible advice or answered that they have been cured. It's only clear that it's individual for everyone. I can also advise getting tested for ureaplasma (very difficult to treat), mycoplasma, and papillomavirus—they live inside us, and we may not feel them. An in-depth analysis will reveal them. They are directly dependent on immunity; they might be present and need treatment. I'm not a medical professional, but I believe seeing a doctor at least once is absolutely necessary.

I've heard from many people that pills and suppositories like fluconazole, flucostat, and ginezol help the first time you take them, but the second time they're useless—they don't work anymore! And they're all the same, just different manufacturers and, of course, different prices! My doctor has now prescribed me trichopol.

Masha asks about ASD2; on that matter, I can answer that I am currently taking it internally, while ASD3 is used externally.
For fungal skin diseases—wash the affected areas with warm water and soap, and apply undiluted ASD3 2–3 times.
For gynaecological issues—take Fraction F2 internally according to the general regimen and use a 1% aqueous solution for douching until recovery.
It’s a very nasty thing, but it brings results. After five days of use, even hair loss has significantly decreased.
As for thrush, a friend once recommended "borax in glycerine"—that’s the common name for it. I only needed to apply it once to the vagina; it was unpleasant, very burning, but it went away immediately.

To prevent thrush, you should douche with a weak solution of potassium permanganate immediately after sex. If you're late, take one capsule of fluconazole and two tablets of metronidazole.

I tried candles and took Fluconazole and so on and so forth...
But it's no use... It just won't go away!!
A gynaecologist I know told me that thrush is already a chronic condition, like herpes, which isn't really there but it is, i.e., it's dormant, but it manifests under various circumstances!!!
It's a shame! When I was a "girl", the discharge was clear!!! But now:(( Alas:((
Hey everyone, I'm so fed up with thrush... I change my underwear every day, but I can't manage without a daily panty liner... I constantly find a pasty mass on my underwear, and there's this constant feeling of insecurity... sometimes this crap just drives me crazy... I've been to gynaecologists so many times about this, and it's always the same advice and prescriptions... I don't deny that it all gets treated, BUT unfortunately, not for long... Most of the time, there's no unusual smell or itching, just large amounts of white discharge, and when I catch a chill, the discharge turns brown. Please advise what to do and how to deal with this on my own, since doctors just say, "Well, my dear, it's thrush! We'll treat it!" and hand out a long list of expensive medications. Thanks in advance for any tried-and-true, effective advice!

A bit personal.
I had thrush for over 10 years, went to doctors, took everything they prescribed, which meant I couldn’t be intimate with my husband while being treated—and both of us were constantly on medication. Getting pregnant with thrush is not advisable, and we wanted children. In the end, it all led to divorce, stress, and the thrush only got worse.
Here’s what a doctor advised me: take fluconazole 150mg once a day for 15 days and douche with chamomile or a tablespoon of baking soda per litre of water. Alongside fluconazole, take probiotic yoghurt capsules—two capsules three times a day. Then, after my period, use vaginal tablets called Fluomizin (he said they clear out any remaining thrush and other fungi—basically, they clear everything, unfortunately even the good flora, but he said it’s necessary). After Fluomizin, use vaginal tablets called Gynoflor for 12 days—they reintroduce beneficial flora into the vagina, which later helps fight not just our problem. During treatment, which lasted over a month, I had to abstain from sex, but it was worth it. It’s been almost three years now without thrush, and my little girl was born healthy—she’s already 1 year and 1 month old.
Don’t lose hope in treating this nasty thing—everything can be cured. Find a knowledgeable doctor.

Yeah, they basically help after 2-3 uses, it's just that when the remnants of the suppository leak out it's not very pleasant, they're greasy (the suppositories).

Hello girls. Don't treat yourselves!! Go to a doctor. If a doctor has only prescribed pills, then that doctor is unqualified. Go to another one, don't spare the money. All the medications you discuss here are, firstly, individual for each person, and secondly, they only relieve the unpleasant itching and burning—that is, the symptoms—but thrush is not a sexually transmitted disease!! That means the fungus continues to "wander" and damages your health. Both partners must definitely be treated; the man should use Pimafucin ointment, even if your partner has no itching. That doesn't mean there's no thrush; it can be asymptomatic in men. Good luck and health to everyone!

I've just had the same problem in the last few days! It's very itchy and swollen! Then I noticed I have white, cottage cheese-like lumps, but they don't come out onto my underwear, they're... inside... tell me, is that normal?
And also, I went to the pharmacy today, bought Fluconazole, took it an hour ago, and it still hasn't done anything! This is the first time I've had this problem!
Hello everyone! My sister encountered this issue and tried a lot of remedies (suppositories, tablets). The doctor prescribed Ginocomfort gel. She says almost all the symptoms have disappeared. But for prevention, she continued using the gel with mallow extract for a while, as a preventive measure.

Girls!!! Go to the doctor urgently! This is nothing to be ashamed of! And after the doctor, you need to buy natural (!!!) pads with medicinal herbs (like San Herbal, for example). Ordinary pads can trigger thrush!

That's right, don't go anywhere; maybe you'll just die and that'll be the end of it, or, as mentioned above, you'll end up with infertility. In any case, don't breed more careless cowards like yourself!
You're not scared or ashamed to have sex, but you're scared to go to the doctor?! Run, get moving, and head straight to the gynaecologist before it's too late!
