Yesterday at 9 PM, my mucus plug came out, but not very much. Everything hurt, and I barely fell asleep hoping for contractions in the morning. But it was as if nothing happened. Still, I'm waiting to give birth and will write when it happens. Currently 38-39 weeks.

Yesterday, part of it came out, and today it's coming out again. I thought it was supposed to come out all at once, but it's happening like this. It's slightly tinged with blood, and the doctor says labor is about to start. During my first delivery, nothing like this happened—they had to break my water. My mucus plug came out tonight... no blood, just yellow mucus... but still no contractions... we're already 40 weeks along.

Can anyone share if they've had a similar experience? And what to expect next... will it pass, or should I expect the baby to arrive tonight?
