Bleeding during sex

Bleeding during sex

I'm absolutely terrified. I'll definitely go to the doctor this week, but wanted to ask here first. My period is still about 9 days away, yesterday after sex I noticed blood on the condom and a little came out. Then it stopped. Today the same thing happened again. I was at the doctor recently, they didn't notice any issues, tests were normal. Right now everything seems fine. What could this be?

This could be due to erosion. It seems your cervix has been injured.

Lika, sometimes it's better to chew than to talk. I had an erosion that was cauterized, and everything was fine. I've never had this before, just regular intercourse with a steady partner. I'll see what the doctor says, I'm just worried it might be something serious.

Just to write some nasty stuff.

Most likely, it's nothing serious—probably a small blood vessel or a polyp in the cervix. They'll cauterize it, and everything will be fine.

Wow, "no big deal—just a polyp"! I have a polyp myself, and I also experience a little bleeding in the second half of my cycle after intercourse. I've been afraid to get a curettage for over six months now. And it's definitely not trivial. :( I don't even know what to do myself....

I think it's nothing serious that you started taking hormonal contraceptives without consulting a doctor.

No, I don't take contraceptives! We use condoms for protection. This is the first time this has happened to me. :(

And why are you so afraid? Is it really that scary?

I had the same with erosion. You need to get examined. And aggressive sex is not for you now.
Гость

Aggressive sex can lead to bleeding, especially in the presence of cysts.

An ultrasound was supposed to be done. What "noticed/didn't notice" means is unclear. But usually, besides the mentioned issue—painful periods, pain during intercourse—the girls correctly pointed out that it could be an ovarian cyst. Be sure to get an ultrasound—about five days before your period and five days after your period.

It looks like erosion, although I have it and there has never been any bleeding...

And I had that happen this past weekend. Plus, my lower abdomen started hurting badly. I rushed to the doctor right away. They examined me, did an ultrasound, and it turned out: that day was ovulation, and the follicle ruptured not into the external environment as it should, but into the ovary, which left fluid in the ovary, and that's where the blood and abdominal pain came from. Of course, I was scared to go, but the doctor said it happens, especially after severe stress (which I had about a month ago), and there's no need to worry too much—the main thing is to avoid sexual activity for a while. She prescribed suppositories and pills and told me not to stress. So just go see a doctor, it'll give you peace of mind. They didn't find any erosion or cysts, even though I was really scared to go too, but I knew I had to.

I had an ultrasound in December, everything was fine, all good. But three days ago, for the first time in my life, this weird thing happened—bleeding from an unknown source, and it washed out and then there was nothing more. I have one partner, and I have an IUD. Could it be erosion suddenly with the IUD, or what could this be?

Yesterday, my condom broke and my partner came inside me; my period is still 15 days away. Do you think there's a chance I could get pregnant?

He sent a text from work, "Irochka, I found a very interesting wrench, an unusual shape, get ready, sweetheart." And this after yesterday's potato incident. I feel like running away from home.

I also had a similar situation recently during intercourse! =((
Previously, there was no bleeding afterward, but now, for three days in a row, there's been blood... after that!
I'm scared to go to the doctor!!!=((

I had that today, there was a bit of blood, and then it stopped; I have polycystic ovary syndrome.

Pain during sexual intercourse is a sign of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection).

I have the same issue... Recently, there was blood during intercourse, and for two days now, the discharge has been really minimal... Could it really be that the sex was too rough?.. What does anyone suggest?.. I can't live without it, though...

Someone told me yesterday that I'm a bit sour :) What does that mean? Does anyone know?((

Sourness refers to the vaginal environment – very good!

...I had bleeding during intercourse, my period is still far away, and it continues after sex, just in smaller amounts. I didn't feel any pain. I don't want to go to the doctor, I can't stand doctors. Can you tell me what this might be? This is the first time this has happened!!!

After intercourse, there was bleeding that lasted for an hour, with 13 days left until my period. I have cervical erosion, and after two days, light bleeding started, along with a yeast infection, which I think I've cured, and then suddenly my period began.

I'm going to the doctor in a week; does anyone know what this could be?

I had a dilation and curettage at the end of January due to a non-developing pregnancy. My period started on March 10th. After my period ended, I've been bleeding with every sexual intercourse. There's no pain. I didn't pay much attention to it, thinking my body just needed time to recover, but after reading messages on a forum, I got scared. I will go to the doctor, but now I'm really afraid.

I had sexual intercourse and then there was bleeding, followed by mild pain in the lower abdomen. Can you tell me what this could be? I don't want to go to the doctor, I'm scared.

I was also told it was just fluid and nothing serious, but they didn't prescribe any medication for me. They advised abstaining from sex for three months, which I did, and it seemed to go away, but not for long... =(((( I'm so frustrated. Please tell me what medications you took...

This is the second time I've bled and felt pain after having sex. I read some messages on the website and got really scared. I'm afraid to go to the doctor because I'm only 17, but I've been sexually active for over a year (I'm scared of the doctor, and of course, my parents don't know). Please, advise me on what to do! I'm very scared :((

I'm so fed up with all of this—the cyst and the polyp. Sometimes there's bleeding after sex, sometimes almost none. I might as well not have sex at all :'( I don't want to go under the knife, but it looks like I'll have to :'( When you know there might be blood, you feel so constrained. Girls, what do guys say when they see blood? How do they react?

I also experience bleeding during sex, but it's very minimal and only happens in the days leading up to my period (about a week before). The doctor said it's an erosion, and they haven't recommended cauterization yet because it's in the early stages. Just before menstruation, the uterus lowers, and if there's an erosion, it's easy to irritate and cause bleeding. So, it's probably nothing serious.

Don't be afraid, go to the doctor bravely. If you don't want your parents to know, you don't have to tell them anything; that's how they handle it at the women's clinic. And there's no need to be scared of the doctor either—they've seen it all before...

Again, I'll repeat that it's most likely due to erosion (and that's not so scary). Many people have it; it just needs timely treatment.

So don't be afraid; the doctors will treat you with understanding. Seventeen is not such a young age anymore ;)

Speaking from my own experience, I ended up at the gynecologist for the first time practically for the same reason five years ago. I was only 15 back then O_o, and I was scared of everything too, but nothing terrible happened.. ))

So cast aside all doubts and fears! Good luck to you! ;)

Ladies, no reputable gynecologist will consult with you over the phone or online. You need to rush to the hospital immediately. Two hours (including waiting and travel time)—and all doubts vanish. This is all very serious, it's an intimate and the most crucial area for a woman, and here you are sitting on forums like fools.

I noticed a small streak of blood after sex. And during sex, there's pain—when he enters and throughout, it feels like chafing. This happened at the very beginning of my sex life, then everything was fine... I don't understand why the pain is back now((

I'll have to go to the doctor next week, but I'm scared.

You should definitely see a doctor. It's not normal to bleed after sex, especially three times in a row. The fact that you didn't have sex for two months before this happened might be related, but only a doctor can tell you for sure. It's understandable that you're nervous because you're only 17, but your health is important. Doctors are there to help, not to judge. Please make an appointment as soon as possible.

I had a situation where I started bleeding after intercourse. I rushed to the doctors—examination and ultrasound, diagnosis—healthy (and two doctors confirmed this). They explained that it could happen around the middle of the cycle, during ovulation. They didn't prescribe anything, just shrugged it off, and that was it.

Good afternoon. At the age of 24, I lost my virginity. My partner and I are not professionals when it comes to sex. Our sexual activity is not regular; we have sex once a week, or maybe once a month. The first time, there was no blood. When we had sex again after some time, there was a little bit of blood. I was advised to take sitz baths with chamomile, which I did for a week, and then the bleeding stopped. Also, my partner was not fully entering me. Then, after some time, when we started having sex again, he entered me completely, and it was painful, and I bled.

My partner told me that he felt as if he was hitting something and then pushed through. I don't know if this could mean that we haven't managed to tear the hymen, or if it might be some other issue.

Could you please advise? Thank you very much in advance.

Good afternoon! I heard a story about a girl who was a virgin, but after her first sexual intercourse, there was no blood. What does that mean? And then, a few hours later, she got her period. Is that bad or good?

I also have an unclear issue: I have a regular sexual partner, and we've never had any problems. Recently, I met a new guy, and during sex with him, there was bleeding the first and second time. Naturally, his first question was, "Is everything okay with your health?" After such words, I don't even feel like having sex at all! Damn, what was that?
