Good day, everyone! Today, the doctor suggested trying Klaira, as I had side effects from Jess: increased blood pressure and triglycerides. Girls, who have taken this drug, how was it for you? Were there any side effects? The contraceptive is prescribed due to a functional cyst.
Started the second pack... Prescribed for endometriosis.
Well, I don't know. Seems like there are no side effects... knock on wood. My legs did hurt... and still do... but I can't blame it on Qlaira. I have varicose veins... so it's hard to say...
Spotting since day 10. Haven't really had a proper period... But that doesn't scare me)
And it's all individual anyway...

I'm also taking Jess, and I'm thinking of switching to this medication now, but the reviews aren't exactly encouraging((((

Hello! I've been taking Jess for over a year now and everything is fine, no side effects at all. On the contrary, I feel somehow lighter, my periods pass easily, and I don't have any breakouts. I know about Qlaira, that it's a new product with low hormone content. It was prescribed to my friend. She seems quite satisfied with it too.

I don't know about Klaira, it seems to be quite new! But I take Jess myself! It really suits me and works very well for me.

After giving birth, I took Charozetta, and now the baby is already a year old, I've stopped breastfeeding. The doctor also mentioned Klaira, saying I could try it. I want to take pills because we're waiting a while before having a second child, I don't want an IUD, and other methods are unreliable. I'm just not sure, I'll have to decide... I need to look up information about Klaira!

I'm on my first month of taking Qlaira, everything is fine except my breasts have enlarged. I have two pills left until the end of the pack, and my period has started... Is this normal??? I just read reviews before starting to take it, and many people say that their periods come like clockwork...
If anyone has experience, please share!

It's been three months since I started taking them, and my cycle has really stabilised. Otherwise, I feel fine and am happy with everything. We're planning to have a child in about two years, so I started taking the pills. Don't want to get pregnant ahead of time)))

In Omsk, they're only available in a few pharmacies... I buy them at "Zdrava," where they're about 800 rubles, give or take 15 rubles.

In Perm, I bought it at Planet of Health on Krupskaya, also around 800 rubles!

I've been taking it for the first month and I feel good. I really hope it lives up to my expectations; I've been looking for reliable and safe contraception for a long time.

Girls, why are all the pills in Qlaira different colours? Just wanted to check before I start taking them, to be on the safe side.
Анна

Well, if I understood correctly, based on the instructions, different colours indicate different amounts of female sex hormones in the pill... If you read the 'What to do if you miss a pill' page, you can understand which days are dangerous and which are less so, and apparently, this is also indicated by colour.

The pills are different colours because they contain varying hormone levels, which correspond to a woman's natural menstrual cycle.
Dark yellow (2 pills)
Oestrogen-3mg
Pink (5 pills)
Oestrogen-2mg
Progestin-2mg
Pale yellow (17 pills)
Oestrogen-2 mg
Progestogen-3mg
Red (2 pills)
Oestrogen-1mg

I've been taking Claire for 6 months now, everything's fine, my weight has stayed the same, my periods have normalised, no pain. Brilliant!
I've had my period for the second time in a week after taking Klaira!!!! Nightmare! I won't take them anymore. Even though I followed the instructions.

Natalia, how long have you been taking them?
Actually, cycle shifts can occur when the body is adjusting from one hormonal rhythm to another.

The gynaecologist prescribed Klaira to regulate my cycle, I'm on my second pack and everything seems fine, but my breasts hurt, they've enlarged, it's uncomfortable to touch and painful, though they feel relatively soft. I haven't told the doctor, thinking maybe my body is just adjusting. Girls, please explain—is this normal, has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

Yes, that can happen! But you really should talk to your doctor about it!
Anna, did you read the instructions?? They are supposed to start on the first white pill - the placebo. That's the whole point, you don't need to take breaks between packs.
Анна
[2699078812]
#31
Of course I've read it! That's not the point at all )))
Your period might start earlier, meaning you could have some pills left over, but on the first day, you absolutely must start a new pack!!! (I consulted a doctor)

Good evening everyone!
I'm on my second month of taking Qlaira (switched from Yasmin). As soon as I started taking it after my period (4 days in), sorry, I had spotting (for about 5 days), and after finishing the pack, my period didn't come at all. Now I've started another pack and have already taken 2 pills, but still no period, the test is negative, I don't know what to think.(( When does it start for others? And is this even normal?
Анна

Olga!
I can only share my experience regarding the last of your questions )
My period didn't start at the beginning of the 3rd pack. The gynaecologist said - this is normal, the body is adjusting to a new rhythm, and there are no periods because the endometrium hardly grows or grows very little... But if it doesn't happen for the second time in a row, you must definitely see a doctor!!!

I started taking the medication Klaira on the first day of my cycle. These are my first combined oral contraceptives. How many days do I need to use additional protection to avoid the risk of pregnancy? And, while taking this medication, can my partner ejaculate inside the vagina?
Additional protection is needed for another 9 days (e.g., barrier contraceptives). And if you missed a pill, the same rule applies: use another form of protection for the next 9 days.

Hello! I have the same issue... I'm on my first month of Qlaira, for contraception... my breasts are terribly painful, although they never hurt before, not even during my period.
The doctor said it's normal, part of the adjustment... And the instructions mention breast pain as a side effect.

No additional protection is needed, as you are taking the combined oral contraceptive from the first day of your menstrual cycle.

When I read the instructions, I was terrified to start!!! But now the second pack is almost finished—everything is wonderful. I haven’t gained any weight at all (touch wood). My facial skin has improved a bit, become clearer. My stomach didn’t hurt at all during my period, though it came five days early!!! Mostly positives, no real downsides to speak of :)

I'm on my first pack, almost finished, today I took the white pill (placebo), no period, my legs have been hurting for the second week, today it's really bad, I'm terrified of thrombosis, maybe I'm overthinking it.

Well, of course!!!
What are you suggesting now!!!
You need to use protection for the first 9 days, barrier methods for example.
Ladies! Who do they write the instructions for???? Just for fun or what?

Reputable companies always have detailed instructions, as they are based on serious research, so there's nothing to fear. And they are obliged to explain everything...

Well, of course, we'll give advice!
If a woman starts taking COCs from the FIRST day of her menstrual cycle—additional protection is not needed; if starting on subsequent days—yes, in that case, additional contraception is necessary.

I'm in my first month of taking it, and during this time I've already had two instances of "spotting." I don't know what will happen next, but it's already not inspiring confidence, even though I take it strictly by the alarm, not a minute later...

I've been taking Klaira for 2 months, and I still haven't had my period. After the first pack, I went to the doctor, and she said it didn't suit me, to finish the pack and go back to Jess. I finished the pills, but there's still no period, and I'm terribly worried... I've decided not to take oral contraceptives for now; I've heard it takes 2-3 months for the cycle to recover.

I once took Diane-35 (barely survived three months) and Marvelon (1.5 months). Absolute rubbish! It's been 15–18 years now, but I remember those months as the worst in my life in terms of how I felt—I was angry, irritable, had constant nausea, gained weight, and lost my libido. May those doctors stay healthy! They prescribed it for an ovarian cyst. There's a great new medication for cysts now—Lomexin—no side effects. It dissolves them instantly. I'd rather use a condom than be angry and frigid! Now, after a miscarriage, they'll prescribe Yasmin, Janine, or Qlaira. I'll study the instructions and shove them in the doctors' faces during consultations because they're used to making money off us and our children! Better to get good condoms than to destroy your liver, kidneys, nervous system, stomach, etc. They need to stay healthy to carry a baby.

I've been taking Qlaira for 3 months, and I like it... I had never used hormonal contraceptives before! I was really afraid of gaining weight... but I don't even feel like I'm taking pills... my weight is stable... but many girls say that from Yasmin they lose weight, but as a side effect—very severe headaches (the doctor says if that happens, you need to stop taking it. Like it doesn't suit you)... I want to try it from next month, maybe I'll lose weight too... although Qlaira suits me 100%.

Here's more - for the first two months, my period came twice. The first time was as described in the instructions with a specific pill, and the second time was as usual without pills... not heavy and short, so it didn't bother me... and it's mentioned in the instructions (because the body is getting used to the pills)... Now everything is fine, the main thing is to take them at the same time every day... It's also convenient that you don't need to take any breaks, you just take them day after day and don't have to think about anything... And also, for the last 3 months since I started taking them, I haven't had a single hint of a pimple on my face (I didn't suffer from this before, but a few would periodically appear before my period, and now they don't)) I don't know if it's related to using the medication, but I like the result... In general, give it a try, maybe it will suit you as well as it does me... It's all individual!
