Back pain

Can anyone guess what this might be?
My lower back hurts when bending over, walking, and it shoots down into my legs. Yesterday and the day before, it was just a slight, gentle pull. This morning everything was fine, but when I got to work—I got out of the car and almost collapsed from the sudden pain.
The pain isn't severe, but it's noticeable.
Kidneys are ruled out, as I've been checked before.
Gynaecology is also fine, as we're planning a pregnancy and I just had tests done, everything was great.
It's too early for pregnancy pains, not even a missed period yet, still waiting...
Otherwise, I feel excellent.
I don't understand a thing.
And which doctor should I see if it doesn't ease up...

Well, what about it - sciatica.

Manifestations of osteochondrosis. Sciatica, lumbago, shooting pain—in short, a neurologist will determine, as it is the neurologist who deals with the manifestations of osteochondrosis. Keep your back warm, apply pain-relieving ointments.

Perhaps a pinched nerve root. Go see a doctor.

I've never experienced anything like this before :(
And the pain isn't like in the spine, but more like in the muscles.
That's strange too, I actually missed two gym sessions this week.
I really don't understand it at all.
Of course, if it doesn't go away, I'll go.
But it seems to have lessened a bit by the evening.

I got hit by sciatica too, bent over double, it was so painful, could barely straighten up, and then when leaning forward or sideways, it would shoot through my back. Another thing with sciatica is how awful it is to put on socks or shoes—you immediately feel it in your back. I endured it for three days, then gave myself a Voltaren injection. Planning to get an MRI and see a neurologist; this ***** won’t just go away on its own, it needs to be properly suppressed.

If you miss workouts, your muscle corset deflates, lymphatic drainage worsens, nerve roots get compressed... you shouldn't quit abruptly unless it's due to an illness (such as pneumonia, myocarditis) where the treatment is similar to managing exercise withdrawal syndrome.

Any test result is only relevant at the time of the examination. If a fracture won't heal in an hour, and an aneurysm won't disappear in a minute, then everything else is highly variable.
Sometimes a cut or abrasion while handling meat or fish products can cause referred pain to the lumbar region, and so on.

Get an MRI, and then, if something is not right, go to a neurologist with the results.

It depends on your gender. If you're a woman, you should also consider your menstrual cycle. It could be related to the intestines, spine, muscles, etc.
My back only hurts after workouts, but even then I take a Nurofen capsule, so the pain goes away quickly. However, it's important to know the exact cause of the pain to avoid letting a serious issue go untreated.

Chondrocream is very effective for lower back and joint pain. My lower back seized up, so I asked at the pharmacy which ointment works well, and they recommended Chondrocream. Now it's always on standby in my medicine cabinet.

If your back hurts, go to the doctor or call an ambulance—that's the smart thing to do. Well, if you really don't want to see a doctor, then... what saves me from joint pain is Hondrocream. It really works!

I've been having lower back pain, probably due to my sedentary work routine and not moving around enough (I should sign up for swimming or fitness classes). That's why the pain started. I've been applying Viprosal ointment, and it helps quickly—the pain goes away.

I was also thinking about the swimming pool, after all, some warm-up for the joints and muscles is necessary. My lower back often hurts, at least my job isn't sedentary. But at home, I sit down to watch a film and that's it, afterwards I can barely get up. Capsicum really helps me a lot if my joints hurt, the pain goes away really quickly. I don't know what I'd do without it.

I had a situation where my back started to hurt, something really shot into my lower back, to the point where it was hard to straighten up. I complained to the doctor about it, and he prescribed me Neurodiclovit, which contains diclofenac (but not too much, so it doesn’t upset the stomach), and that really helped with the pain. After that, I took Neuromultivit for another month—it’s a vitamin supplement that’s good for back pain. That treatment plan really worked well for me; nothing hurts now.

I also took Neurodiclovit, Marina wrote about it here, it's an NSAID, it really helped me quite well. This remedy is indeed not harmful to the stomach, I've experienced that myself. And it has B vitamins in it, which is also good. Then I took Neuromultivit, which contains the same vitamins in higher concentration, helping to consolidate the treatment effect.

Of course, why put up with it! Up above, they described a good treatment plan—have a read. When my lower back was hurting, I also took Neurodiclovit, and after that Neuromultivit. The treatment helped me brilliantly, the lower back pain stopped; before, after an eight-hour workday, I'd just crawl out from behind the desk, couldn't straighten my back, but now that's not the case.

Day 4 of severe lower back pain, nothing helps—not injections (diclofenac, ketorol), gels (ketoprofen, diclofenac), painkillers (analgin, ketorol, nimesulide), or massage. Kidneys are fine. It's a holiday now, can't see a neurologist, and the on-duty neurologist at Pirogovka refused to help, saying it's not an emergency and to go to the clinic. But I'm getting worse and worse; it only doesn't hurt when lying down, and even then I can't move. Probably going to be paralysed soon...

When I had back pain, Neurodiclovit helped me a lot. It contains B vitamins and diclofenac, and this combination is very effective at relieving pain and inflammation. While I was taking this medication, my stomach didn't hurt; I took it for two weeks. Afterwards, to prevent the pain from returning, I took Neuromultivit for another month. It contains the same vitamins as Neurodiclovit, only in a higher concentration.

Everything you've just listed are pain relief methods. I hope you understand that the spine continues to deteriorate while you, having numbed the pain, simply don't feel it, and the pain you've alleviated now will return a hundredfold. I'm just reasoning now, but back when instead of getting out of bed in the morning, I would slowly turn onto my stomach and slide sideways onto the floor, and then, from the floor, piece by piece onto my feet :) I was saved at "Praskovya" – a neighbourly granny persuaded me that they could help and would provide a consultation for free in any case. And so it turned out, they even gave me a herbal sauna and diagnostic massage for free too. Then we determined the treatment. About a month later, I was young and sprightly again and haven't thought about the bad times for almost a year now. It's at Respublika 250, building 1 I think, right after "Electron" on the right. Firstly, you'll treat your spine, and secondly, you'll save on medication :)

I know from personal experience what it's like when your back hurts. I advise not to delay and to see a doctor. In my case, I was prescribed a treatment course that helped a great deal. Initially, I took Neurodiclovit for two weeks; it contains diclofenac, which relieves pain and reduces inflammation, but in such a low dose that it doesn't harm the stomach. Over those two weeks, my back stopped hurting, but I continued taking Neuromultivit for another month to prevent the pain from returning. It contains B vitamins, which are essential in treating back pain.

My lower back hurts when I walk long distances. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Could this indicate a problem with my lower back and that I should see a doctor?

I can say that walking is beneficial. But if your back hurts, you need to strengthen your muscles; there are very good and simple exercises, and at my age of 60, I manage perfectly well. And to relieve back pain, I apply Salvisar ointment. It's a domestic product, inexpensive, and very effective.

I would refer you to a neurologist, perhaps something is pinched. Actually, Fastum Gel works well for me; it's cool and has a pleasant scent.

Does it relieve the pain? My back's seized up too, my mum rubbed some cream or gel on me, the stench is absolutely foul, and the main thing is it didn't get any easier. But honestly, ladies... I'll say that from age 25 it's important not to forget about physical activity, then your back will feel better!

Yes, Bystrumgel works as both a painkiller and anti-inflammatory, 2 in 1. I personally love the cooling effect, it feels like it lets go immediately, though in reality it gets much better after about 15 minutes. And the lavender scent is the business, none of those stinky mum ointments)))

Got it, I'll keep that in mind. Because when it flares up, you don't know what to grab or where to run. It's definitely better to have a gel like that at home, for sure :)

Our whole family treats muscle and joint pains with Salvisar ointment. I once used it for a sprain, and it helped very effectively—now I always keep it in the medicine cabinet.

Back pain doesn't just appear out of nowhere. You should see a doctor. They'll tell you what's what, but for now, you can simply rub your lower back and wrap it up warmly.

And I take painkillers because once I applied Finalgon, and then I could barely wash it off. It burned so badly, it was just awful.

I always use the Viper Venom balm. It doesn't burn the skin, but it warms it up and relieves pain effectively, which is why I always buy only this one.

For back pain, you should see a neurologist. I kept putting it off, but then I went, and it turned out nothing serious, but I needed treatment—they prescribed Etorelex for a course. After taking it, I felt better. Now, sometimes my back aches with the weather, and I take it then too, and everything’s fine.

I have sciatica. Sometimes I catch a chill and it aches so badly that I take Nimesil. My daughter brought me Revmalgon 911 gel. I apply a thin layer of the gel and massage it in until fully absorbed. It provides immediate relief, eases the pain, reduces inflammation, and has a warming effect.

It could be sciatica or a pinched nerve. In such cases, I rub my back and lower back with Artromivit 911 Twins Tech cream. The cream has an anti-inflammatory effect, relieves stiffness, and improves mobility. It reduces the inflammatory process.

Hello. First and foremost, go for an MRI. It's important to rule out a herniated disc or spinal canal stenosis. Consult an orthopaedist and/or a neurologist/neurosurgeon. However, it's better to come for a consultation with the MRI results—both the report and the disc.

If anyone needs a consultation and/or custom-made orthopaedic insoles, please contact:

There are tablets that reduce fever and inflammation, Teraliv 275.

Valdeksal injections (if you know how to administer them); our Russian diclofenac should not be injected more than twice during the entire treatment—it should not be used excessively. Diclofenac rectal suppositories are excellent for relieving pain, especially toothache.

Dexalgin in injections.

If there is nerve inflammation, it is advisable to take painkillers along with vitamins, such as Neurodiclovit tablets, twice a day for a week.

Combilipen can also be administered via injection.

You need to know the cause of your inflammation.

I started using Artromivit cream recently, but I can already feel its effect; my condition has eased. My knee joint became inflamed, an old injury making itself known. My knee was aching, hurting, and twisting. After the course of treatment, the stiffness completely disappeared, and joint mobility improved.

Dull, aching lower back pain can occur due to pelvic tilt. It often affects individuals who do not engage in physical activity and have sedentary jobs, as well as after abdominal surgeries. The consequences can be quite severe, as your entire body weight shifts onto one leg, leading to joint wear and tear. This condition is easily identified: place your hands on your hips—if they are felt at the same height, everything is normal. Alternatively, an X-ray for pelvic symmetry can be done, which is more reliable.

For back and neck pain, I use a brilliant, effective, and inexpensive ointment called Evamenol Active. It's really superb – it cools, relieves pain, and reduces inflammation. Plus, it has a good, safe composition with natural ingredients.
