Today is my 9th day after transferring two 5-day embryos, the tests are negative. This morning I took another test - at first it was blank, but after an hour a faint second line appeared. I know results after 10 minutes aren't valid, but I still want to believe everything is okay. Has anyone else had this happen and how did it turn out? I've read that 5-day embryos implant earlier than 3 or 2-day ones, but I feel like everything went down the drain, I'm in no mood at all =(
P.S. After transfer I only rested for 2 days, then started walking around the apartment and going outside, everything as before, without physical exertion... now I'm wondering if I should have been resting all this time? I don't know what to think anymore... still 4 days until the HCG test, I don't know how I'll wait until the 17th, I have no patience.
You started testing too early. Wait a couple more days. And there's no need to stay in bed – numerous studies have been conducted, and no positive correlation between bed rest and pregnancy has been observed. Get plenty of walks, breathe fresh air, eat well, avoid cigarettes, pills, coffee, alcohol, and everything will be fine.

I had embryo transfers on December 18th and 22nd! I took a blood test on December 31st. It showed pregnancy. I did a test on the same day, and the second line was very faint. In the end, I gave birth to my daughter. So, only one embryo implanted.

You shouldn't lie down for more than 15 minutes at all! This has been proven by the latest European studies. My advice to you, if you can't wait for the result, is to go to the pharmacy now and buy several tests from different brands. By the way, Clearblue is a good one, very convenient (not necessarily the most expensive), and Evitest. Frau shows a very faint line at first (but it's definitely accurate!). Take the tests today and tomorrow morning (with concentrated urine). See which ones show results. If there's even a faint line—you're pregnant.

Tests are not evaluated this late because even without pregnancy, it will still show two lines after an hour. Do it in the morning and follow the instructions.
Thank you, you've calmed me down)) I don't drink or smoke anyway.

Do you want another piece of advice? Buy the exact same test that you evaluated the results of an hour ago today. Have your husband pee on it. And evaluate the result in an hour. I'm willing to bet that your husband won't have even a hint of a second line. Compare it with yours. Do you have a faint line? Anyway, congratulations. The main thing is to maintain the pregnancy, because it often ends early on. Talk to your IVF doctor.

After high-dose vitamin therapy, as well as after antibiotic treatment conducted between sample collection and embryo transfer, the test may show lines by the end of the first trimester, or hCG may display trace, uninterpretable concentrations. This is rare, just like positive tests in husbands, but it does happen. For common prostatitis (detected through routine methods or clinical presentation) or epididymitis, the test might show lines.
Depending on the position of the uterus, lying on your back can lead to the displacement of embryos into the cervical canal and below.

I can recommend consulting with a competent reproductive specialist from the Mother and Child clinic in the Southwest, Victoria Bondarenko. Make an appointment with her; she'll lay everything out clearly for you. I once went to see her with a friend. She explained all the nuances thoroughly, what one would need to go through. And most importantly, everything is done with a positive attitude, which, I think, is very important!

Four years were spent in the struggle for parenthood. We changed four doctors and two clinics, resulting in three failed IVF attempts. Eventually, we decided to try our luck in Moscow and went to the Mother and Child clinic in the Southwest, where we met Victoria Bondarenko. It was this reproductive specialist who helped us. The journey was not easy, but we managed to get through it!

Hey girls! ✋🏻 I'm just as anxious, browsing through different sites, reading articles and forums... Of course, I want to reassure myself with something pleasant and long-awaited..! 😔 On April 12th, I had my embryo transfer (post-transfer sensations: some occasional pinching here and there, a bit of pulling, my temperature has been staying at 37-37.2 for about 5 days now, and my breasts are terribly sore and swollen, even though I never noticed such obvious swelling before during ovulation or menstruation). Yesterday, on 7 days post-transfer, I couldn't resist and took a test. Even though my HCG test is scheduled for April 26th. But still... The test showed one clear line and a second faint, cherished line.. 🤞🏼 But for some reason, I'm not sure... because it's only 7 days post-transfer, and they say the test might show a false faint second line after IVF and while taking hormones, and I'm currently on the prescribed Utrogestan.. Can anyone tell me if they've experienced something like this?

I recommend the Mother and Child clinic in Moscow if you're planning to do paid IVF, but it's expensive! They have top-notch embryology, the best reproductive specialists, and modern equipment. I had my procedure done with Victoria Bondarenko, successfully! She previously worked at the Perinatal Medical Center and now practices at the Mother and Child clinic in the Southwest. I didn't hesitate to spend the money to become a mother again.

Hello everyone, I also had an embryo transfer with a donor egg since I'm already in menopause. The transfer was on July 8, 2017, and today is the 4th day. I couldn't resist and took a test—it showed one line. I've lost all hope and don't believe anymore. Is there any point in waiting for the two-week mark??((

Hi girls! I need help with this situation: On 09/27/17, two (5-day-old embryos) were transferred. I'm on support with Duphaston twice a day and 600 Utrogestan. As of today, there's a 4-day delay. I took a test and it's negative (12 days post-transfer). Could it be a failure? The hCG test is scheduled for 10/11.
Girls, please help, today is 14 days past ovulation, I'll only get my hCG results tomorrow. I've been taking different tests since yesterday; on the regular ones, there's a faint line, but the digital one says not pregnant. Does this mean it's negative?
Hi girls! Can you share your progress after the transfer? I had my transfer on 10/30/17, one 3-day embryo. On 11/10, I took an hCG test - 10.4. The doctor said there is a pregnancy but we need to monitor its development; I'll retest on Tuesday. I took a pregnancy test - there's a second line but it's barely visible. It could be either a biochemical pregnancy or late implantation.

Good morning, girls. I had a five-day embryo transfer on November 6th. Today, on the 9th day post-transfer, I have NO sensations at all. I took tests in the first days—they're all gone now, HCG on Monday, 11/20.
I'm in the same situation. Can you tell me if it worked out for you???

Today is my 10th day post-transfer, I've taken tests three times on days 6, 8, and 10, all negative, and I haven't had my hCG tested yet. I have so many symptoms—a cold, sore breasts, lower abdomen cramping, and nausea... Ugh, seems like another failure. I'm looking for information about late implantation or pregnancy test errors. Please share any info; I'll hold onto this last hope for a few more days until the hCG test.

I saw on one website it said that the test might show incorrectly due to hormonal medications.
Almost nothing, my breasts have grown a size, there's a tingling in the lower right part of my abdomen, this morning I had a temperature, but otherwise nothing more((( Today I took a test again and it's negative, tomorrow I'm scheduled for hCG already(

It's different for everyone. If they transferred two embryos but only one implanted, the test results will be different than for those who had both implant right away, because the hCG concentration will be lower. How much water are you drinking? It all depends. I've done them differently many times - sometimes not drinking water at all, sometimes drinking, testing in the morning, in the evening - still negative. I wrote to my doctor and he told me not to stress him out and just get my hCG tested on Monday))

I drink a lot of water and pee frequently, these tests are nonsense. Maybe I'm doing them wrong, not with morning urine. What scares me is this feeling of complete emptiness in my stomach, nothing more. My breasts started hurting even before the transfer, and now there's nothing else to hold onto and hope is fading..((

You have your three-day wait, I'm getting mine on the 18th! Well I feel like my breasts have grown a whole size, tingling on the right side just above the groin, nausea, but that's from Utrozhestan, but I'm worried that the tests are accurate and my body is demanding my period this way (well soon everything will be clear (keeping my fingers crossed for you, the third one should be the winning one dear)) triple-digit hcg on the 20th))
P.S. After transfer I only rested for 2 days, then started walking around the apartment and going outside, everything as before, without physical exertion... now I'm wondering if I should have been resting all this time?
