Who's cured their ROSACEA?

I don't know what to do anymore - I've been suffering from rosacea for several years, my nose especially suffers - it swells up and goes red. I've cut out all fatty, salty, sweet and spicy foods from my diet. I drink herbal stomach teas. But it hasn't got much better. Maybe someone has experience fighting this tricky condition?

And what anti-ageing products can one use? Treatment is a given, but wrinkles and such appear with age. Which creams can be used without the fear of worsening the condition?

Good afternoon! I have also been diagnosed with this. But if it helped you, where did you get all these resins? Please provide more details. Natalia.

There are modern treatments for ROSACEA. It has several stages, some of which are very difficult to treat. But first, it's better to see a dermatologist and a gastroenterologist, and at the same time get blood tests and ultrasounds of the liver, kidneys, and gallbladder.

I've personally tried many remedies and hesitated for a long time to do chemical peels—expensive and scary (what if it gets worse?)—then I tried them and am very pleased with the result. Peels or creams for home use with salicylic, azelaic, or mandelic acid provide film-like exfoliation, the skin rejuvenates and heals + the bacteria that cause Rosacea die + there is a smoothing of the skin's surface.

The doctor told me it won't be possible to cure it completely; I need to change my lifestyle and adapt—similar to how people with diabetes or allergies live. There are many foods I can't eat, it's a constant diet. By the way, during my pregnancy, I experienced significant improvement without any antibiotics or hormones.

And how are you taking them? One a day? I took them about 2 years ago, it went away, but everything came back again!

Has anyone tried this method? Does it really help or not?

Yes, I managed to cure my rosacea after 4 years of suffering and using all kinds of treatments—around 50 types from conventional medicine and folk remedies—with consistently negative results.

The method is simple. Dilute Dimexide with water in a 3:1 ratio (water) and apply it all over your face with a cotton pad, several times until it turns red. All the mites and calcium deposits start surfacing, and it will sting, but not for long. You need to clean all of it off. Repeat about 5 times a day. At night, without washing off the Dimexide, cover your face with a thick layer of baby cream (with chamomile) mixed with vitamin E and A, plus pure Dimexide (a teaspoon per half-tube of cream), and in the morning, wash with serum. After about a week, your facial skin will become clear. Just don’t stop for another week. Then take a break for a week and repeat if necessary. Take Polyphepan internally to remove toxins from the body. All these mites die instantly, and Dimexide apparently dissolves them by penetrating deep inside. It’s inexpensive. You can also follow up with masks made from rice flour and cottage cheese. Alternatively, use homemade butter and, after 5 minutes, apply sour cream for 30 minutes. The results surprised even me.

Of course. Here is more detailed information about the cream.

**Product Overview:**
This cream is a carefully formulated skincare product designed to address specific concerns such as hydration, anti-ageing, or blemish control. Its texture ranges from a lightweight lotion to a rich, buttery consistency, depending on its primary function.

**Key Ingredients and Their Benefits:**
* **Hyaluronic Acid:** A powerful humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin, leading to a plumper, more dewy complexion and reduced appearance of fine lines.
* **Ceramides:** These are lipids (fats) naturally found in the skin's barrier. They help to restore and strengthen the skin's protective barrier, preventing moisture loss and protecting against environmental aggressors.
* **Niacinamide (Vitamin B3):** A multi-tasking ingredient that helps to regulate oil production, minimise pores, improve skin tone, and reduce redness and inflammation.
* **Retinol (Vitamin A):** A gold-standard ingredient for anti-ageing. It promotes cell turnover, boosts collagen production, and helps to fade hyperpigmentation and smooth out wrinkles.
* **Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid):** A potent antioxidant that brightens the skin, evens out skin tone, and protects against free radical damage from UV exposure and pollution.
* **Peptides:** Chains of amino acids that signal the skin to produce more collagen, resulting in firmer, more resilient skin.

**How to Use:**
1. **Cleanse:** Start with a thoroughly cleansed face to ensure maximum absorption.
2. **Tone (Optional):** Apply a toner to balance your skin's pH levels.
3. **Serum:** Apply any treatment serums before the cream.
4. **Application:** Take a pea-sized amount of cream and warm it between your fingertips. Gently press and massage it into your face and neck using upward and outward motions.
5. **Sunscreen (AM):** In the morning, always follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin.

**Ideal For:**
This cream is suitable for a variety of skin types, including dry, combination, oily, and sensitive skin (always check the specific formulation for potential irritants). It is particularly beneficial for those looking to combat signs of ageing, deeply hydrate, or strengthen their skin barrier.

**Consistency and Scent:**
It typically has a non-greasy, fast-absorbing formula that leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth without a heavy residue. It is often available in both scented and fragrance-free versions to cater to different preferences.

I am 29 years old and have been ill for 3 years.

- I was examined by a gastroenterologist and an endocrinologist, who identified dysbiosis, giardiasis, and hyperthyroidism.

- I was tested for Demodex mites three times – it was not detected.

- Cryomassage – I underwent two courses six months apart, each lasting 1.5 to 2 months (every other day or two) – I liked the effect, but later everything returned to how it was.

- Cream "Rozamet" – I felt no effect. "Skinoren" helped a bit but did not cure it – plus it burns intensely upon application.

- Throughout this period of illness with this "nuisance," i.e., rosacea, I consulted an ophthalmologist once – together, we prevented the further development of ocular rosacea by locally boosting immunity.

- Currently, to keep my facial skin in a more or less normal condition, I use a cream from the brand "MEDICALIA" (dry sensitive rosacea skin line) made in the USA.

- For the past six months, I haven't treated it in any way – I just took care of my facial skin with regular cosmetics and, in general, came to terms with my pimples (they are mainly on my forehead and a bit on my cheeks).... Since I heard about good results in treating rosacea with tetracycline antibiotics, and on the advice of an acquaintance, I used a regular tetracycline ointment costing 20 rubles on my forehead and cheeks at night for about a week – my skin became cleaner and smoother – but again, something like inflammation started on my eyelids – so I stopped using it.

P.S. It's sad that those who encounter this disease have to resort to self-treatment – our healthcare and the level of knowledge our doctors have about rosacea leave much to be desired (((

I have almost come to terms with this nuisance by now...

I was delighted to discover this forum – at least there's an opportunity to discuss this issue with someone. People, has anyone been cured?

Regarding photo rejuvenation. I think it helps. I only had it done on my forehead because I had pigmentation spots there as well, and now my forehead is noticeably paler than the rest of my face. I'm considering trying it on my whole face.

My skin looks like eczema and it's burning intensely; I'm using Protopic ointment but there's no improvement at all. Should rosacea be painful? I live in Germany, but I'm getting no help from German doctors.

I've had rosacea for a long time. I finished the treatment course prescribed by the doctor, and everything cleared up superbly. My question is, what should one not eat with rosacea? Please write... can I eat nuts, honey?

And what was that course of treatment? I've already mentioned that my face is burning, meaning my cheeks and now it's spreading to my neck, I'm in complete despair. If anyone has symptoms like mine and something has helped, please write. In Germany, it's very difficult to find a good doctor; I've already been to four, and the last one said, "You'll have this until you die," but I believe there is a way. Good people, if anyone knows anything, please write!

1. I was given injections of vitamins and some medication for 21 days, plus tablets: Trichopol, vitamin B, and some other pills. They also performed Darsonval treatment on my face. Additionally, I was prohibited from eating fatty foods, sweets, hot items, washing my face with hot water, and consuming spicy or peppery foods. The diet had to be strict. At the moment, my condition is simply superb, but it's unknown how long it will last. I hope it's forever.

Here, no injections will ever be given in your life, and all medications, like antibiotics, can only be bought with a doctor's prescription. So, treat yourself however you wish.

I live in England, and here everything is also by prescription, but my GP doctor immediately diagnosed rosacea and prescribed Metronidazole gel for 2 months, which helped a bit. I buy everything from Russian pharmacies or bring it from Russia, like tetracycline ointment, Skinoren, doxycycline. I also buy some things online, take a look, you might like it http://zenmed.com/skincare/rosacea/

The principle of treating rosacea and acne is the same - to eliminate the bacteria that cause it all. Salicylic, azelainic, and mandelic acids help, specifically creams and ointments based on them. The skin's surface is smoothed only by exfoliating the damaged layers; chemical peels assist in this, with the skin shedding like a sock after two days post-peel. After 10 procedures, the result is very good, but this is only advisable during autumn and winter.

Rosacea worsens in cold or bright weather, wind, and humidity; sun exposure is completely contraindicated, so a sunblock with SPF 50 must be applied to the face regularly. Strong and hot tea, coffee, alcohol, and other warming beverages should be avoided, as well as saunas, steam baths, and strenuous physical activities that cause facial redness. This means constantly maintaining a stable temperature and following a specific diet—it's a way of life, nothing too daunting, one can adapt just as people with allergies or diabetes do. It's essential to learn to monitor the skin's condition, periodically cleanse the intestines, and take Metronidazole (Trichopol) once every six months—this is not an antibiotic but functions as an antimicrobial agent.
Лариса
#71
Metronidazole doesn't suit me; it starts to burn even more and causes dandruff on my face. I don't drink tea or coffee, and I use creams approved by my doctor. Yet, there are no improvements at all. I also apply Protopic ointment every evening. I simply don't understand why some people have large pimples that don't hurt, like one of my acquaintances, while mine burns and looks like eczema? I've been to three doctors, none of them mentioned rosacea, and the fourth one diagnosed me with it.

Moreover, it could be demodex, as the symptoms are similar to rosacea. I've found a dermatology institute that does tests for mites. I'm so desperate I'd try anything; life is unbearable. I have some tetracycline ointment and I'm thinking of just throwing caution to the wind and starting to use it. Does anyone have experience with this ointment?

Although I am not a woman, I see that this is a common issue, so I'll contribute my modest share. For about eight years, I've had facial redness of varying severity, sometimes to the point of crusting. I never went to a doctor. For a long time, I washed my face every evening with Dove soap and then applied a cream—either spermaceti or lanolin-based. In general, I thought it was all due to dry skin. It more or less helped keep my face in a tolerable condition. About a year ago, I stopped drinking alcohol entirely—not a drop, as they say—and started following some sort of diet. The reason wasn't skin problems but rather my body's demands. And suddenly, after a month and a half of a healthy lifestyle, my face ended up like this... I rushed to a dermatologist, who took a facial scraping (diagnosis: "Demodex detected"), prescribed 20 Ornidazole-Vero tablets twice a day, and advised cleansing my face morning and evening with Cetaphil gel, followed by applying Rozex (which is metronidazole). Improvement (compared to my "tomato"-like skin) came fairly quickly, but as soon as I stopped using Rozex, I got a red crust on my face. In short, I became "addicted" to Rozex and took ornidazole a couple more times. In May, the whole family went to the Dead Sea. We didn't do any treatments, just relaxed. We brought back a small bottle of Dead Sea water. Actually, it's not really water but more like liquid glycerin... At the end of May, my face flared up again. I thought—what have I got to lose?—and applied this water to my face, even rubbed it in with a cotton pad, endured the burning for a few minutes, and washed it off. The next morning, I repeated it. Right after washing, my face had pronounced redness that subsided after a few hours (so I applied it on Friday evening and Saturday morning). After 24 hours, my face was free of red patches and crust; after 2-3 days, there was skin peeling (less than average, and it went away quickly). I'm not using Rozex, not taking tablets, but I continue to cleanse my skin with Cetaphil gel. After washing it off, there's slight redness that fades quickly (literally within 20 minutes).
#74
Continuing from the previous post.

I've been using this method for the third week now (meaning I've applied Dead Sea water four times), so it might be too early to talk about a lasting effect. Nevertheless, the visual result is better than even with Rozex. Moreover, if I skipped Rozex for a couple of days, breakouts on my face were guaranteed, whereas here—touch wood—it's been over two weeks and everything's fine. Just in case anyone wants to try this—be careful, avoid getting it in the mucous membranes of your eyes and nose.

P.S. I'm not promoting this method or pushing it—just sharing my experience. If interested—I can update on further results (maybe in a couple of weeks) in this thread.

Hello everyone. I have a major problem; I was searching online and found this forum. I have rosacea—my nose, beard area, and both cheeks turn red, and my cheeks are covered in capillaries for about four months now, with enlarged pores. I'm terribly depressed; I used to have normal skin, and suddenly everything changed. It looks so frightening. I went to a dermatologist who said it's rosacea, then to another who said it's acne. I'm taking pills. When I apply foundation, it gets even worse, like a mask, and my skin is also very flaky. I'm too ashamed to go outside. I can't go without foundation, but with it, it's awful. The doctor also said that the capillaries will go away on their own—can that really happen? I also looked into laser treatment, but they say there might be pigmentation issues because of my fair skin.

KIND PEOPLE, PLEASE TELL ME ANYTHING YOU CAN OR KNOW ABOUT THIS, I HAVE NO STRENGTH LEFT AT ALL.............................

Hello everyone, a month ago I was diagnosed with rosacea, although I've been suffering from it for as long as I can remember. Shaving is a major issue for me; can anyone advise on how and what to use for shaving? My dermatologist prescribed Metrogel 0.75% and told me to apply it for a year.

I've been suffering from this for 15 years, yet no one except my close ones knows about it. At work, my face is always clear because if I show up with acne, I'd get fired. The Spanish cream Skin-Cap helps; if I stop applying it, it starts up again within three days. And if I don't use the cream, it itches, scratches, and spreads to my eyes and décolletage. I've tried everything; hormonal ointments relieve the itching temporarily, but then only Skin-Cap works. With Skinoren, my face flared up and hurt, and I barely managed to calm it down with Advantan. Now I'm sitting at home covered in acne because I forgot my cream at the dacha.

There was only one mention of the BIOPTRON medical device (by Zepter), and that's a shame. It's a method of LIGHT THERAPY. The devices are available in many clinics. If you doubt my words, then check out the website zepter-73.ru, where I've posted PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE TREATMENT RESULTS with the BIOPTRON lamp (before and after). There's a methodology for its use regarding rosacea. Look at the photos, and read the description under each one—it's important! Not all is lost for you, believe me! There's a dermatovenerologist with 30 years of experience; write to me, and I'll try to consult with her.

Thank goodness I've finally got rid of that nasty infection. I saw many doctors, but the dermatologist from the 85th clinic, the one in Moskvorechye, helped me. Go to the older one; the young doctor treats strictly by the book :) while the other one clearly has vast experience since she cured me. What helped me the most was a liver cleanse with sodium thiosulfate.

Going to doctors is pointless; they treat by trial and error, which you can do yourself. Try everything until something works. For me, Skin-Cap helps. I've tried everything from hormonal ointments to "miraculous" OVANTE from America—it only made things worse!

Cryomassage with liquid nitrogen was prescribed: №5 on dry skin, №5 with a compound ointment. As part of the regimen, wash with acidified water and use creams: "Elocom" mixed with 1.5g of Trichopol (apply to the face at night), followed by Curiosin cream. Apply Curiosin twice a day, and take Trichopol tablets, one tablet twice daily for 20 days. Also, when going outside, I apply a sun protection cream to my face. Improvement occurred after 1.5 months. I am continuing the treatment. The clinic's address is Moscow, Marshal Timoshenko Street, 15. Two dermatologists are available for appointments, both are good specialists. Wishing everyone health, health, and once again, health!

I've been diagnosed with this too. Now my entire chin and cheeks are covered in a rash and terrible redness. I don't want to leave the house. Rosamet isn't helping, and the doctor suggested trying Benzyl Benzoate. He also said if that doesn't work, I'll have to take Roaccutane. But it has so many scary side effects! Soon I have to take the children to school, and I look so "beautiful"! And someone here asked - can you exercise with this??? Please answer!!!

I'm suffering from it too. There was an improvement after using Hydrocortisone and cleansing the intestines with Enterosgel. I can't seem to fully cure it, and I was even in the process of getting a job. A good foundation cream (so it doesn't look like a mask) is Rose de mer by the Israeli company Christina. It costs around 1500 in online shops. It lasts a very long time. I recommend it.

I've also noticed that mine gets worse from chemicals and all sorts of E-numbers in food... Good luck to everyone in the fight! And to me too!

It is not advisable to engage in sports, and especially avoid going to the sauna or steam bath, as well as sunbathing. To help you leave the house, apply a thin layer of Advantan or Triderm once a day for 2-3 days, but only to relieve itching and redness, no more. Afterwards, wash with chamomile solution; never wash with plain water. For creams, those from the Svoboda factory are preferable, and try Skin-Cap cream, which can be used regularly as a substitute for ordinary cream.

Skin-Cap is a hormonal medication containing a very potent hormone that the manufacturer intentionally omits from the ingredient list—because no one would buy it otherwise. It's a scam to claim it's non-hormonal—don't fall for it!!!

Excellent results in treating dysbiosis! Even for prevention purposes! It's essential to take Phosphogliv, 2 capsules twice a day before meals for 3 months, and accompany this with Rozex cream – you won't believe it – the effect kicks in after 3-4 weeks. Continue the treatment for 3 months, even if your face becomes clear, and be sure to repeat it again after another 3 months without fail. Treat in courses until a stable remission is achieved. Wishing you success. It worked for me – my face is smooth and clear. To avoid allergies, take basic Suprastin in courses, 1 tablet twice a day.
