Is it possible to cure …

Is it possible to cure pancreatitis?

My sister's completely lost her head with this illness... all that's left is to lie down and die... conventional (doctors) medicine says they don't treat such things.

Pancreatitis cannot be cured, but it is entirely possible to live with it. One must simply remember to maintain a proper diet.

Pancreatic disease is often accompanied by gallstones and liver tumours. Let your sister get checked by doctors more often and have ultrasounds done.
As for treatment, of course, there isn't any anymore—only diet and supportive medication.

It's not scary if you follow the rules.

A lifelong diet and monitoring of one's health condition. Many illnesses impose similarly strict lifestyle requirements.

Author, one can live with this. As rightly mentioned here - proper nutrition and not forgetting to check in with doctors regularly. The key is not to let it escalate to the point of attacks, as it's extremely painful. I've seen cases where people even had to call an ambulance.

In short, it's about committing to a proper diet and eating routine. This should become a way of life. It's genuinely achievable; people live with even more severe conditions.

8 - why didn't you expect it? :)

After all, they are people, all "relatively healthy", each with their own problems. And pancreatitis, unfortunately, is quite a common condition nowadays. My brother, for instance, "earned" it for himself at 30. At first, of course, it was awful, there were lots of pills (while flare-ups occurred), but then he gradually switched to a new diet, cut out a lot of unhealthy things from his meals altogether, and has now gotten used to monitoring what he eats and when, and what's better not to put in his mouth at all. He also keeps an eye on how he feels: if pain arises, he knows which pill to take in time to quickly suppress it.

And it's fine, gradually life got back on track and everything's okay.

Enzyme supplements should be taken in addition to the diet.

It depends on the condition, of course, but I witnessed how at the Kivach sanatorium, green-faced alcoholics were pulled out of the pancreatitis pit through fasting. After a week of therapeutic fasting, the alcoholics turned pink... the pancreas is treated with fasting, but only if there are no contraindications.

A very strict diet for life.

Nonsense, one can stick to a lifelong diet with regular check-ups for monitoring, and it's perfectly fine to live without smoked sausage, barbecues, and ketchup!

Yes, until it progresses to pancreatic necrosis.

In acute attacks, the treatment is cold and fasting... a cold compress on the abdomen and abstaining from food...

And in chronic cases of the illness – medical supervision, a strict diet (avoiding fatty, spicy, fried, and sour foods) and complete abstinence from alcohol...

If you correctly identify the pathogen and don't skimp on the dosage, then you can even consume litres of spirits and liqueur with well-grilled kebabs afterwards. In the past, pancreatitis was indeed treated with fasting and hypoglycaemia.

And what's the use? Even if they find what you described, you'd only have to go to Germany if you have the money; no one's ever been cured in Russia.

Bio-resonance therapy will help, and a diet, of course.

Pancreatitis can be cured. I say this with confidence because I have cured it myself and have been free from the illness for 30 years. Firstly, one must adhere to a strict diet, and secondly, the water from Truskavets, Naftusya, provides significant relief literally by the second day. I went there two years in a row and forgot about the illness. Stay healthy.

I have pancreatic necrosis; they removed part of the tail of the pancreas and the spleen as well. This happened when I was 12, and I spent 6 months of that time in the hospital. Of course, I follow a strict diet, but I've lost interest in life. For some reason, I'm convinced that the nightmare will soon repeat, and I won't have the strength to recover from it this time. Now they've diagnosed me with chronic pancreatitis, but what's the point? It doesn't make things any easier...

I have been diagnosed with opisthorchiasis, gastroduodenitis, and pancreatitis (all these conditions are interconnected, and doctors are confident that if the underlying causes are treated, everything will return to normal). I am writing these lines while waiting for my gastroenterologist appointment, gritting my teeth from the pain in my pancreas. It's not easy at 23 to go on a strict diet without alcohol when I used to allow myself absolutely everything, but I am ready—health and life are more important than barbecues and drinking sessions. And for me, diabetes is scarier than cancer, and I will do everything to avoid reaching that point.

I've been on a strict diet №5 for several months now, as I was diagnosed with pancreatitis in the summer. Everything was going well, but today I ordered noodles at a café, and it turned out they were fried... Now I have a very sharp pain in my stomach and pancreas, along with intense rumbling. Can you tell me what I can do to get some relief, and will all my treatment go to waste?

Cold, hunger, and rest. A couple of days of fasting and lying down with a cold compress on your pancreas. Then gradually start eating again, beginning with lean, well-cooked porridges without salt, sugar, or oil. Well, I suppose you already know all about the diet.

One might think that doctors in Germany are better and have cured someone of pancreatitis... And aren't you ashamed to refer to the Motherland as "Rasha"? Disgusting.....

I read at the institute about a still little-known Russian method of diagnosis and treatment: "Parasites are the cause of many incurable diseases." I hope it will be useful to everyone who cannot find answers to their questions.

This is not curable. Tomorrow I'm going back to the hospital for IV drips again. Stress also has an impact. I buried my father a month ago. Stress, hospital. Always stay calm.

Please tell me, I have been suffering from pain for 4 years now, periodically. Some doctors diagnose chronic pancreatitis, others say gastritis... In short, I'm confused. I read the symptoms of pancreatitis, and everything matches except for loose stools... I mainly have constipation.

You should read up on the symptoms of whipworm infection. It seems that, at the very least, they are the cause of your illness.

Could you please tell me, has anyone treated chronic pancreatitis with bear bile?
They say it helps if you buy it from hunters for 200 rubles per gram and make a tincture.

Please describe the symptoms of chronic and acute pancreatitis. I have pain in my left upper abdomen, which worsens after eating. The pain subsides after applying something cold.

Oddly enough, I've had chronic pancreatitis for about 15 years now, yet I have no symptoms and it doesn't bother me at all. I'm not undergoing any treatment, and everything seems fine. Every year, I get an ultrasound, and it's always the same diagnosis—pancreatitis.

I managed to recover within two months thanks to a diet where I could only eat rusks, a spoonful of honey, and soup made from chicken fillet and potatoes. For the soup, I would discard the first broth and cook the potatoes in the second one. Now, even the ultrasound confirms that everything is fine.

And also, I drank a little bit of Luzhanska mineral water.

Yesterday morning, I was taken by ambulance with acute pancreatitis. It's absolute hell!!! I've given birth to two children, but I've never been in such pain!!!! I was genuinely ready to jump off the balcony from the pain, honestly. They did an ultrasound, which confirmed pancreatitis, and tomorrow I'm having a gastroscopy. Just waiting to hear what they say... I really want to get cured and forget this horror forever.

In the majority of cases of pancreatitis (non-alcoholic), there is a grey eminence that is rarely mentioned—the STRETCHED STOMACH. A stretched stomach means excessive food intake, which leads to excessive acid production. Excessive acid is harmful to everyone—pancreas, gallbladder. Pancreatitis is not a disease—it is a bodily condition, and the first step to recovery is reducing the AMOUNT of food consumed in one sitting... and then, nothing will remain of pancreatitis.

It's all nonsense; I've started having blood pressure spikes with this wretched thing when I eat the wrong stuff, even though I used to do sports. Now it's either me or it getting the better of me. The main thing is to keep a positive mood and not despair. Everything will be fine for you and your sister.

Now tell me, I eat very, very modestly, and there isn't a trace of excess weight. I haven't touched alcohol in about 5 years, and even before that, I wasn't particularly fond of it. I don't smoke. So why then do I have pancreatitis?

Anya, many illnesses transition from psychological to somatic—into the body. There's a field of study called psychosomatics. On this topic, Sinelnikov writes in "Love Your Illness," among other authors. It's all about our thoughts. Give it a read; I found answers there for myself. Stress, fears, and so on.

Good afternoon! Stress and fears, yes, indeed. After the attack, I lost 5 kg in a week. I'm following a strict diet, eating steamed chicken breast patties and fish, porridge, soup with chicken breast and noodles, as well as rusks and crackers, and my appetite is normal, but I'm still losing weight—another 1 kg this week. I'm taking pancreatin and allochol, and there's still a bit of pain. It's been two months now.

YOU NEED TO HAVE A TOMOGRAPHY DONE, AND IT SHOULD SHOW THAT I ALSO HAD A TOMOGRAPHY, BUT BEFORE THAT, I UNDERWENT AN ULTRASOUND. KEEP TAKING ABSORBENTS, BUT YOU NEED TO CLEANSE THE INTESTINES FIRST.
