The itching and …

The itching and burning are driving me crazy

This is some kind of disaster, please help! I had sex, without a condom, the next day - irritation, everything was swollen. Then the swelling went down, but everything is red, a few small cracks, the itching and pain are terrible, I can't even walk! I rushed to the gynecologist, got all the tests done, have to wait four more days for the results, I'm going to go insane! I'm applying Vagisil, it's a cream for physical irritation - barely helps. I'm washing with chamomile. I've scoured all the forums. One possibility - it looks like a yeast infection. I took Fluconazole at noon, no result so far. I don't know what to do anymore, I can't do anything, can't work, don't even have the energy to put on makeup, I'm just sitting here going crazy. Yesterday it was only a little better, while I was lying in the bath with chamomile. But at night it started again, I even woke up and couldn't fall back asleep for a very long time. Please help, what else can I do? I won't survive until the test results :(

Thrush typically involves discharge that resembles cottage cheese. Could it be that you simply injured the skin and mucous membrane?

I've had thrush twice in my life, and both times without any discharge, only itching. Why does it take so long to get results?

Drink probiotics - acidophilus, etc. They should be in high-quality yogurts if you can't buy supplements. They are expensive and not available everywhere in Russia, but you have a common infection - only probiotics will help.

It might be HPV, then the itching will last about 6 days.

In paid clinics, you can get the results of a regular smear test within an hour, but could it simply be an allergy to his sperm? You can apply "Vitaon" and try taking an antihistamine.

Here’s also a table on the incubation periods of STIs:

But for now, this is just reading tea leaves.

The doctor will immediately see thrush and all sorts of other nasty stuff under the microscope. What are they testing you for there?

What the hell HPV?????????

Do you even have any idea when it shows up and how??????

People like you who think they know everything really piss me off.

HPV typically manifests after 4-8 months.

Pimafucin suppositories and everything will be fine. It looks like you have vaginitis.

Honestly, author, you must have no brains if you let someone in without a condom... This is a lesson for the future—you never know who else your guy is screwing around with, and you're all alone with yourself, and no one wants you sick.

Consume more fermented dairy products, wear smooth, ironed knit underwear, and exclude sweets, bread, and beer from your diet. Buy suppositories from the pharmacy, and if it occurs—I recommend repeating the procedure with suppositories two or three times as a preventive measure, with intervals of two to three weeks, at night.

Change your underwear after washing, dry the area with a hairdryer, and always use toilet paper.

For particularly severe burning, doctors even recommend inserting a tampon soaked in acidophilus or another yogurt with probiotics. It relieves the itch.

And you should take a double or triple dose of probiotics (bifidobacteria) until the burning subsides.

A common women's health issue: we love sweets, are prone to stress, have weakened immunity, and after antibiotics during cold season... all create a favorable environment for gynecological diseases.

Genferon to the rescue. It really does a great job with the itching. When it was prescribed to me, the itching went away after the very first suppository. Such a relief. And the discharge clears up quickly too. But it's important to complete the full course, not just stop when the discharge ends.

The doctor did not prescribe treatment because after obtaining the smear, additional examinations may be needed, such as tests for hidden infections (PCR) and cultures. If suppositories are inserted before the results, it could lead to false negative outcomes later. In most cases, thrush is visible to the naked eye during a pelvic exam, so the doctor could have initially applied medication. If Fluconazole isn't helping, it's likely not thrush.

That's how my HPV started. Although it only showed up in PCR testing a year later, and in a crazy high amount at that. I spray Panavir or Epigen (whichever is available), it helps. And now every time after intercourse, I have these sensations... Unfortunately, because of this HPV, I also had a missed miscarriage... So get PCR tests for everything.

I had a really bad toothache, I was going crazy, and on top of that, I have a small child—I couldn't sit, walk, or lie down. Honestly, it was so bad my eyes were popping out of my head. The gynecologist prescribed Condinorm (3 micro-enemas and a cleansing gel). Superrrr!!! After the enema, in the morning, there was a lot of cottage cheese-like discharge. I immediately washed with the cleansing gel, and the itching would go away for a while. I also took sitz baths with chamomile and sprayed Miramistin. Everything cleared up in 7 days. Good luck!!!!

Girls!! I recently struggled with itching too, thought I was going crazy. I tried douching with Miramistin, but it was useless. Then I decided to try applying aloe vera gel!!!! And it's a miracle! In 30 seconds, it was gone like magic!!!! So I 100% recommend aloe vera gel!!

I think at this point, antibiotics are needed, and ointments or gels won't help anymore.

Well, I wouldn't be so categorical. For me, the restorative gel Ginocomfort worked excellently and quickly to help with the aforementioned symptoms. I applied it to the mucous membrane twice a day, and everything cleared up; now my tests are back to normal.

You shouldn't act like a know-it-all either, if you yourself don't know what HPV is. It can show up, yes, after 6, after 8, even after 18 months. But where's the guarantee that its appearance isn't just coinciding with the time of sexual intercourse? The girl who's complaining about itching, definitely get tested for HPV, it won't hurt, because it's possible that you just damaged your condylomas during sex and that started the itching.

And it's precisely because of people like you, completely uninformed and having read online from all sorts of equally incompetent folks like yourself, that relationships fall apart! You believe infection absolutely requires sex with a cheater who's behind your back "playing around" with anything that moves, and that's how this malicious, contagious person infected you too. If you don't know—don't recommend or advise! And those who are infected, don't listen to these *****. HPV is found in plenty of VIRGINS. Maybe you'll give a "smart" answer here too to the question "how?"
You can pick up HPV in a sauna, in a swimming pool, from kissing, and the unluckiest can even catch it from touching an infected person. So there's no point in searching for the root cause.

HPV is a carrier virus that can be present in both girls and boys. It is present from birth and remains dormant until a certain point. Of course, it is essential to get tested for HPV. However, generally, this carrier virus is primarily found in males. Use Miramistin tampons overnight and apply it externally as well. Use the tampon for 7 nights, and as soon as itching begins, spray with Miramistin. It helps from the first time.

Miramistin helps!!! It worked for me the first time. It also helps with candida (thrush)!!! You also need to use suppositories with miconazole, any kind.

Mikozon ointment and suppositories with miconazole. Works great! It's all harmless. Helps if it's a yeast infection. Doctors might not see it in tests. It can hide in hard-to-reach places!!! If it's not a yeast infection, then Miramistin will help!!! If none of this helps within 3-4 days, then it's a more serious issue and you need to see a good gynecologist!

Try Fexadine allergy tablets 180 mg, one tablet per day. Or wash and douche with chamomile decoction (brew one tea bag with a cup of boiling water, let it steep), and use a vaginal suppository with metronidazole 500 mg at night. Do this for a week. It helps me.
