Menopause, hot …

Menopause, hot flashes, and HRT

I'm going through menopause, and it started with terrible hot flashes every half hour.
Since it became unbearable to endure any longer, I started taking hormones - Estrogel and progesterone capsules. The hot flashes decreased but didn't disappear. I got blood tests done - estrogens are normal, but the hot flashes continue, though not as frequently.
After two months I bought a saliva test, took it, and estrogen is already elevated and above normal
But the hot flashes are still there as before. Now I've developed mastopathy, clearly due to the high estrogen levels. I don't understand what's wrong with me. Why isn't HRT even helping?
Anticipating questions about the thyroid, I'll say right away that it's normal.

And what do you expect from the forum? Go see an endocrinologist in person! You've lived to menopause, yet you're acting like a teenager.

It's a good thing you didn't risk taking hormones. They only bring problems. Everyone I hear from has issues: either new growths or some other trouble. Try non-hormonal pills, like the Klimaksan mentioned above. I've also recently faced menopause. I've been taking the pills for 1.5 months, along with scheduled walks three times a week and listening to classical music. And you know, I genuinely feel younger and don't fall into melancholy.

Hormones aren't suitable for everyone; I also experienced side effects popping up within the first month. My gynecologist and I decided to completely change the treatment plan—now I'm on Pineamine injections, and I've become dependent on them. Well, not exactly dependent... I need to get the shot once every six months, and that's it; the medication does the rest of the time. Hot flashes have become rare and very mild, my mood has improved, and there's even a rejuvenating effect.

Oh, I don't know, I avoided hormones like the devil avoids incense (I was sick when I was younger – I'll keep the diagnosis to myself, hormones were absolutely out of the question). At the pharmacy, they recommended non-hormonal tablets called Klimaksan. I've been trying to take them at the same time for two months now, and the hot flashes have become milder. Before, I would even wake up all wet and have to put on another pair of pajamas, but that doesn't happen anymore.

Laura Aleksanyan has very good herbs and tinctures. I have personally bought and consumed them from her and periodically drink about a liter a couple of times a year. 89639635828. Not an advertisement. I was cured by her.

I'm 43, I've done all the tests—early menopause(((( The doctor prescribed HRT Femoston 2/10. I'm really scared to take it, there are so many side effects((( but my doctor insists, saying it's necessary in my case. Hot flashes, insomnia, swelling, mood swings, all my bones just ache, hair loss, I've gained 8 kg..... My cycle comes with terrible pain, but only every two months.. Can anyone tell me if they've taken this medication? Or if anyone else is going through the same thing, what are you using for relief???

I am not taking hormones; I was prescribed Klimafit 911, which contains black cohosh extract, a powerful regulator of hormone levels during menopause. I take it twice a day with meals, and the course lasts for a month. After a week of use, my condition improved noticeably—sweating, hot flashes, cramps, and aches stopped bothering me. My sleep normalized, and there's no more unexplained anxiety. Now, I'm taking a break and will start taking it again.

My mom uses Orniona cream during menopause and nothing else; it really helps her cope with the discomfort.

I don't know, my gynecologist only prescribed Orniona cream for me during menopause. I got rid of the itching and burning with it.

I realized right away that you can't just put up with menopausal symptoms. ) Yeah, at first I also hoped for folk remedies and then understood I'd wasted my time. My daughter dragged me to the doctor))), good for her, and I was prescribed Pineamine injections. I didn't believe in them initially, but I still wanted to see the results. And there are results! The hot flashes became less frequent, and my sleep improved. It's good to have children; I wouldn't have gone to the doctor by myself.)

And haven't you heard of Klimalanin? This medication stops hot flashes. Ask at the pharmacy.

K Klimalanin is only effective for one year; it's a matter of getting used to it. I was cured with herbs from herbalist Laura Ivanovna Aleksanyan.

The Qi-Klim tablets from Evalar have worked well for me. The hot flashes have subsided, and my sleep and overall condition have improved. I've been taking them for half a year now. The medication has a cumulative effect. I noticed a reduction in symptoms by the third week of use. It contains cimicifuga, a plant with estrogen-like properties. Importantly, it contains no hormones. The price is reasonable. It also makes menstrual periods easier to manage.

I've been taking Femoston 2/10 for two years now, it really helped when I felt all the 'joys' of beginning menopause, the severe headaches, hot flashes, dizziness, extreme sleepiness, nausea all went away, basically after starting the medication I feel good, though the first month was an adjustment period, had some pulling sensation in my legs, but overall everything's fine, the medication worked for me

At 40, I had my uterus and ovaries removed. After the surgery, my blood pressure started fluctuating, I had tachycardia, and felt anxious—I thought I was going crazy. The surgeon who operated on me told me to take Femoston 1/5 for ten years. I asked her if I could take phytohormones instead, and she said they wouldn't help me. Now I'm 43, and over the past three years, I've tried everything—I stopped Femoston and switched to phytohormones, which also helped, but each had different side effects. Now I'm back on Femoston because after three months without it, all the symptoms returned.

I'm 52, menopause since 48, my doctor prescribed me Femoston 1/10, took it for two years, then prescribed 2/10, no hot flashes, no night sweats, slept normally at night. Seemed like everything was fine, but because of Femoston I had periods even though before I started taking it they had stopped, and before each period I had either unexplained abdominal pain, or my lower back would lock up, or terrible pain in my groin, and every time before my period I just wanted to hang myself, didn't know what to expect. I drove my doctor crazy, went to her almost every month with complaints but she never prescribed me anything else even though I've been paying to see her for 4 years, at some point I got fed up and stopped taking it. Of course now I'm suffering from heat and hot flashes and poor sleep but I don't have periods, I don't have those unexplained pains that tormented me for 4 years, my mood improved and I have energy to do things, whereas when I was taking Femoston I didn't want to do anything at all and had no energy. So you have to choose, for me I'd rather feel somewhat not as good as before but at least no more pain and bad mood and weakness. Now I'm looking for some non-hormonal medication that will eliminate hot flashes, haven't found one yet, trying to find something on my own.

I am 43. I haven't had a period for six months. It felt like menopause had started. I took two packs of Femoston, and my period came, and it was extremely heavy. I was prescribed desogestrel, hoping I wouldn't get my period. But it came a week early and just wouldn't stop. It lasted for two weeks. I got a Depo-Clinovir injection. The bleeding didn't completely stop. For two months now, I've been bleeding a little every day. And I've developed terrible itching in the anogenital area. The doctors can't really help. They say it's due to menopause. For those who have experienced itching, can it really be this unbearable just from hormones? I feel like it's an allergy to the Depo-Clinovir injection. And its effects last for several months. Cetirizine only helps for about a day and a half. I'm going crazy. I can't concentrate on anything because of this itching. They gave me an estradiol ointment, but I can't say it helps much. They also gave me something for a fungal infection and antibiotic suppositories. In short, there's no effect at all.

Did a doctor prescribe all these medications for you? Or did you do it yourself? I'm 41. I haven't even taken tests and it's all clear) One ovary has 1 follicle, the other has 2. No periods for 4 months - everything started hurting, legs, joints, head, heart. Dryness, couldn't even get aroused by porn. About a month and a half ago my ovary apparently kicked in) got lubrication, breasts swelled up. And yesterday some pink watery discharge started, today it seems to be spreading. I smoke, have breast cysts. My doctor doesn't want to prescribe me HRT.

Doctors prescribed them. But without any tests. Just guessing, you could say( Germany, you see... They save on everything. I got my own tests done when I went back to our region and saw a proper doctor, not just for 5 minutes. But even that doctor just threw up her hands.
Right now I'm leaning towards two possibilities, either an allergy to the progesterone shot, or some kind of cancer( I didn't have any menopause symptoms. The only thing was a lump in my throat for unknown reasons. When my period came, the lump sensation went away. But then another problem came along.

Mastofit really helped me when my breasts hurt and I had cysts. By the way, you're wrong to say it's all clear. It's too early for menopause. Better get checked out, there could be many reasons for missed periods.

It's early, but I had a resection of my right ovary (almost all of it was removed)

I take tinctures of motherwort + peony + valerian. Or drink hot tea. Or rest and lie down, they go away on their own. But I have internal shaking, no external tremor. The doctor prescribed Dostinex. I bought it, but I'm not taking it yet—I've read too many horror stories about it 😅 I'm more concerned that my joints and bones hurt. HRT is contraindicated for me and it's really sad—I'm only 41 but I feel like a broken-down nag

This shaking is driving me crazy, it all started suddenly at the very beginning, with a panic attack at work, and then things got worse, insomnia, the shaking is torture, yes it's internal, no tremor, insomnia, I've been examined everywhere, but no use, anxiety disorder, I'm taking an antidepressant, now I'm doing well, but at first nothing helped, and tinctures only provide temporary relief, I also read about it, I read so much it got even worse, now I don't read...
