Girls! I'm 7 months pregnant and I've got haemorrhoids. One lump is sticking right out of my anus. I'm desperate and don't know what to do. I'm scared to go to the toilet. I'm constantly crying. I've only managed to book a doctor's appointment for next Monday! Please help with advice if anyone's been through this
Oh, that must be tough. The experienced ones here will probably give you some advice now.
My friend had haemorrhoids after giving birth, the doctor prescribed some ointment and it all went away. Couldn't the doctor have seen you earlier?

This can happen during pregnancy.
You shouldn't delay. The doctor should see you on ANY day.
Haemorrhoids are not as trivial as they might seem at first glance.

Wash yourself after each visit to the toilet. Buy suppositories and ointments from the pharmacy. Be sure to consult with the pharmacists (whether they are suitable for pregnant women). Either walk around or lie down (preferably with your legs and pelvis elevated). You can apply cooling compresses. Good luck!
And ABSOLUTELY!!!! Take care of your health after giving birth! There's no need for false shame. It's better to get rid of this nonsense straight away. Because after living with this rubbish for several years and suffering, you'll end up seeing a doctor anyway.

I completely agree with point 3. Since you're pregnant, there are many restrictions, including the use of certain suppositories. Until you've decided on a course of action, lubricate with petroleum jelly before bowel movements. Relieve the pain by cooling the area. My sympathies!

It's a common occurrence during pregnancy. The doctor won't do anything about it right now.

A lot of candles are sold at the pharmacy, though I can't recall the names (I used them myself during pregnancy), one of them seems to be Hamamelis. And there's also a very good ointment called Zhabreynaya, but it's sold at M.V. Gordeev's herbal centres and pharmacies; check his website for addresses in your city. This ointment has helped all of my acquaintances. Oh, and apply ice to the haemorrhoids.

Buy suppositories with sea buckthorn oil from the doctor, you'll feel better, they're 100% safe for pregnant women. 40 rubles.
I used homeopathic Witch Hazel suppositories, and they helped me. There is also an ointment and very convenient witch hazel wipes that can be used instead of toilet paper or before going to the doctor for an examination. During pregnancy, I strictly treated myself only with homeopathy, thinking not only about myself but also about the baby.
I also support the advice about using cold, as it alleviates the pain.

Veronica, I do sympathise with you so much! I'm in my sixth month of pregnancy myself and have been afflicted by this ailment—I've visited both my gynaecologist and even a surgeon, but they told me nothing new. Before pregnancy, I had no idea what haemorrhoids were. My doctor said it's a common occurrence during pregnancy and prescribed Relief suppositories based on shark liver oil; there are four types, and I bought the Ultra version, which is considered the best. There's also Aurobin ointment, which is quite good too. The doctor says the main thing is to ensure there's no bleeding! I also have excruciating pain, especially in the evenings—forgive the details—the piles don't retract, causing even more discomfort, but I'm not giving up and am continuing the treatment. Veronica, I wish you a speedy recovery from this condition!

Girls! Thank you for the advice and support! At least now I understand that I'm not the only poor, unfortunate soul suffering from this affliction. I went to the pharmacy and bought a lot of Vaseline and witch hazel suppositories; the pharmacist said they're safe and can be used during pregnancy.
I'm afraid to use other medications without a doctor's advice. Oh, if only I can make it until Monday!

What is there to be ashamed of? Most women face this issue (it's just that not everyone will talk about it). So go ahead! It will only get worse if you delay, and you'll have to see a doctor anyway.

During pregnancy, I used Anusol suppositories and heparin ointment. After childbirth: heparin ointment, Detralex tablets, Relief suppositories, and applied ice, always washing after using the toilet. After two months, the haemorrhoids went away, or rather, I managed to heal them. Now, I'm on a diet to prevent constipation (this is very important), and if there's any slight protrusion, I immediately insert a suppository. Oh, and I forgot, I did exercises (though I can't explain exactly how...))).

My friend used some ointment with witch hazel and chamomile tincture, and it helped her quite a bit. I was lucky, though—I gave birth without that issue, but I did have terrible morning sickness until the eighth month. I really feel for the thread's author. Hang in there.

Hello everyone, Veronichka, how are you? How's your treatment going???? I'd like to share that I've seen improvements—I'm currently using "Emulsion D" ointment and Relief Ultra suppositories as part of my routine. The hemorrhoids have reduced by half, and the second small bump has completely disappeared. So, it's working. Honestly, I haven't heard of the ointment with hamamelis, but I've been using Emulsion D for a long time for various ailments, and I tried it for this too. It's only sold in veterinary pharmacies, but it's a real lifesaver!

Quite possibly, for prevention, apply some ointment or use suppositories and try to push it back inside.

I want to share my experience. During pregnancy and after childbirth, I suffered from haemorrhoids, and almost every trip to the toilet ended with new fissures appearing.
Hello, girls!
I've already written somewhere on the forum, but I decided to share here as well.
During pregnancy, Esculus ointment helped me a lot; I applied it on cotton pads directly into my bottom three times a day. Within two weeks, I forgot about the fissures and haemorrhoids.

Thank you all for your support!
It seems to have gotten better; the lump has reduced slightly and doesn't hurt as much. I've been applying witch hazel ointment three or four times a day since Wednesday, and using petroleum jelly before and after using the toilet. I've also been inserting Anusol suppositories, which my mother-in-law recommended.
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and want to consult with them about Relief.
Oh, I'm scared... it's my first time seeing a proctologist...

Hello everyone! I want to close the topic I started. I haven't written for a long time because I ended up in the hospital and spent almost three weeks there with a threatened condition. Now I've been discharged home to prepare for childbirth, and so far, touch wood, everything seems okay.
But, girls, my haemorrhoids have gone!
So, witch hazel is a good thing... Good luck to everyone in fighting this nuisance!
Hemostop haemorrhoid gel saved me. Apply it twice a day. All the problems disappear quite quickly ))) Moreover, the gel is natural and has no contraindications, which is also good.

Hello, Veronika! How are things with you, have they settled down or not? I've been through that ordeal myself and can share some advice. I did go to the proctologist, and thankfully, everything is calmer now.

Hello girls! I'm 33 weeks pregnant. Three days ago (on Friday evening), I developed a haemorrhoid, a nodule about 1 cm in size, and by the next day, it had doubled. It hurts terribly—I can neither sit nor stand! I read that it's helpful to apply sea buckthorn oil. I've been applying it after every toilet visit. On Monday morning, I rushed to my gynaecologist; she examined me, prescribed Relief suppositories (one at night), and gave me a referral to a surgeon. However, my appointment with the surgeon is only in a week. So, last night I used a suppository, and by this evening, the pain has almost completely subsided! I'm still applying the oil and hope the nodules will disappear in the next few days. Also, at my prenatal classes, the midwife recommended taking Omegamama, saying it's very good for strengthening blood vessels. I hope nothing reappears by the time I give birth. Good luck to everyone, take care of yourselves!!!

I also encountered this nuisance during pregnancy(((( At first, I resorted to home remedies, but they only brought me temporary relief. Tired of the suffering, I went to the doctor. He prescribed me Proctis-M suppositories. These are suppositories based on hyaluronic acid and medicinal herb oils. After the course of treatment, I felt significant relief. Notably, after giving birth and completing the treatment, the unpleasant symptoms never occurred again. So, go to the doctor, get a consultation, and treat yourself properly))

After my second childbirth, a large haemorrhoid emerged, and I suffered for two years before having surgery. Now, with my third pregnancy approaching delivery, it has been bothering me considerably again since week 20. Surgery doesn't guarantee that haemorrhoids won't reappear in a subsequent pregnancy. My treatment (all prescribed by a proctologist and approved by a gynaecologist) is as follows: Detralex according to the instructions—if it's very acute and bleeding, then 2 tablets three times a day for three days, then gradually transition to 1 tablet twice a day, taken for up to one month; Proctoglyvenol suppositories 1-2 times, Natalsid suppositories 2-3 times; if the haemorrhoids are external, use Proctoglyvenol cream instead of suppositories. If you have grade 3-4 haemorrhoids, suppositories with sea buckthorn or witch hazel won't help; they're only good for early stages. Also, if this issue is acute for you, start taking Detralex and a course of suppositories about 2-4 weeks before delivery to minimise flare-ups during childbirth—of course, this applies if you're having a natural birth, as with a caesarean section, nothing will worsen. Prepare your medications for this ailment in advance to take to the maternity hospital. As the proctologist said, one day of delay in treating this problem equals three days of subsequent treatment. I forgot to mention, in case of thrombosis of the nodes after childbirth, apply Hepathrombin ointment on a gauze pad directly onto the nodes.

I forgot to mention, it's very important to avoid constipation during pregnancy. This includes dietary adjustments, bran, and possibly medications like Phytomucil or Duphalac.
Yes, probably every pregnant woman faces the issue of constipation; I also suffered for a long time, took a course of lactulose syrup, and was on a kefir diet, but in the end, Phytomucil helped—it was like a real find for me. It works almost immediately and very gently. By the way, during my first pregnancy, I also struggled with hemorrhoids, but somehow got through the second one without it; perhaps the prevention of constipation really helped.

Indeed, prevention is crucial in such matters; it's far easier to prevent this illness than to treat it later. From my own experience, I can now say that it's better to take a laxative and feel comfortable than to endure discomfort and end up with a host of problems from poor digestion.

Well, I wouldn't say that! Not all laxatives are created equal. For instance, there are many preparations based on senna, which acts quickly but irritates the intestines and is contraindicated for pregnant women, though many ignore this. Then there are those based on lactulose syrup; the downside here is that you need to take a long course to see results, which isn't always convenient. I find it most convenient to take Phytomucil, as it contains soluble fibre that truly dissolves easily and works gently, making it safe for pregnant women. So, when choosing a laxative, it's essential to consider all the nuances and read the instructions carefully.
During my sixth month of pregnancy, I also developed haemorrhoids, and it was frightening—one lump was protruding right out. The doctor prescribed an ointment that provided relief for only about 30-40 minutes, after which all the discomfort returned.
I also tried suppositories and sea buckthorn oil, but nothing helped. Then the pain intensified, especially in the evenings, and it started bleeding. The doctors didn’t offer any new advice, just told me to continue with the prescribed treatment. But what was the point if it wasn’t working and the inflammation was getting worse?
Almost resigned to despair, I complained to a friend, and she recommended this remedy to me: http://bezgemorras.tk
It turned out she had a similar issue during her second pregnancy and had tried many things, but only this helped. With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a try...
I started using it. The severe inflammation subsided within two days, the lump retracted in a week and a half, the pain almost disappeared, and after three weeks, it stopped hurting completely.
Be sure to check it out. Wishing everyone success, good health, and smooth deliveries!

I've been training a lot and lifting heavy weights, and ended up literally getting haemorrhoids, it's awful, guys! I consulted a doctor friend who prescribed treatment with suppositories and taking Phlebofa. He assured me that in my case, it would clear up quickly. And indeed, after a month of treatment, there wasn't a trace left! I hope there won't be a recurrence!

Ladies, beauties!!! I recently got haemorrhoids and burst into tears over the news. I booked a paid appointment to get treatment prescribed faster. Rushed to the pharmacy and bought Phlebofa tablets. Been treating it ever since, and almost everything has cleared up!! Oh, and by the way, Phlebofa also treats varicose veins. Handy to treat two things at once!

Oh, girls, just before giving birth, I've got this painful thing popping out, it's making me want to cry, can't walk, lie down, or touch it, I'm so scared to give birth! I'm using Posterisan Forte suppositories, twice a day, and heparin ointment, and now I'm wondering if I can add another suppository. Or maybe this Detralex?

Mine also came out in the 6th month, twice it happened. I washed with a weak potassium permanganate solution, applied Vishnevsky ointment three times a day, and at night, I'd wash with potassium permanganate and apply sea buckthorn oil to the hemorrhoids. It goes away in 3-4 days, but the little bump doesn't disappear.

After my first childbirth, I developed haemorrhoids and used Bezornil ointment. It helped. Almost four years have passed. Now, in my second pregnancy at 34 weeks, and voilà... the same issue has recurred—a lump has appeared. I'll try the trusted Bezornil ointment again, since sea buckthorn suppositories and Hepatrombin G ointment didn't work. Especially the ointment—I don't know who it actually helps; it's just sitting in the fridge now. Utterly useless, in short.

Oh girls, I've also encountered this problem, I'm 35 weeks now, such a lump, it hurts, twitches, sometimes itches, can't sit or lie down. I went to the doctor, and he prescribed me Detralex 1000, once a day for 2 months, sea buckthorn suppositories, twice a day for 10 days, Natalsid suppositories after finishing the sea buckthorn ones, Troxerutin or Traksevazin ointment 2-3 times a day for 10-14 days, and washing with cool water after using the toilet. What surprised me was that he didn't even examine me, just diagnosed based on my words and that's it, prescribed the treatment. He said this treatment can be safely used and won't affect the pregnancy at all.
