Does everyone's chest …

Does everyone's chest hurt during pregnancy?

My chest always used to hurt before my period, starting about 2 weeks before, but this month it's not hurting at all, and I'm 3 days late. They say your chest starts hurting as early as the 2nd week of pregnancy—did anyone's not hurt at all?

I didn't have any pain at all. That's what made me suspect I was pregnant. Otherwise, I always had pain before my period.

Mine didn't hurt either, which is exactly why I suspected pregnancy, because normally my breasts would start to ache before my period.

At the very beginning, it hurt a lot—it was even painful to sleep. Now, at 9 weeks, it's itching unbearably. I'm scratching it until it bruises, though I'm trying my best to hold back. I'm applying moisturising cream twice a day.

Only between weeks 6 and 10 did I experience a little itching and slight nipple soreness, but now I'm not bothered at all—16 weeks.

It was terribly painful, it became huge (increased from the second size to the fourth) with purple veins and stretch marks. I could only sleep in a soft bra and only on my side. By around weeks 9-10, I had already gotten used to the pain, and it doesn't hurt as much. Now, at 13 weeks, I hardly even notice it anymore.

In my first pregnancy, my breasts didn't hurt, even though they always hurt before my period. They only started hurting after the delay. In my second pregnancy, they started hurting right after ovulation and didn't stop until the 9th week. After that, the breast pain went away, but my nipples remained very sensitive and sore.

It was sore, but not right away, around the 10th week or so, then it increased by about two sizes, and it seems to have stopped for now, hasn't been sore since around the 20th week. I dread to think what my udder will be like again when the milk comes in...

Before the period, it didn't hurt, just swelled a bit, but from the second week it started to ache. Now at 9 weeks, it's very sore(( it's become huge.

I never had pain before my period before pregnancy. And during pregnancy, not everyone experiences pain, just like with morning sickness—some have it severely, some feel a bit nauseous in the morning, and some don't have it at all.

My cheek is swollen, it doesn't exactly hurt, but touching it is quite unpleasant.

Two weeks after my period, my breasts became swollen and sore. Now, with four days left until my next period, the pain has stopped, and a test showed a faint second line.

Girls, I've always had sore and swollen breasts after ovulation until my period. This cycle, I did have ovulation (I did tests and measured basal temperature), but my breasts haven't swollen at all—they're soft and I don't feel anything. We've been trying for two years now, and this has never happened before; we haven't been able to get pregnant. Could it have worked this time, what do you think? I'm only on day 20 of my cycle, and my cycle is 30 days long, so it's still too early to take an HCG test or even for a pregnancy test to show a positive result.

During my pregnancy, my breasts didn't hurt at all, but I should add that they also didn't hurt during my periods. It's all individual: some people experience pain, others don't!

I have pain in my upper part, as if after the gym, but otherwise everything is fine (for now). Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

I've always had breast tenderness 10 days before my period—well, not exactly pain, more like a slight tingling inside. This month, I haven't felt anything at all, and my period is due in two days. Could this be pregnancy?

Hi, I have the same dilemma. My breasts always hurt consistently after ovulation and right up until my period; as soon as the pain stopped, it meant my period was about to come. This cycle has been a bit strange. My breasts didn't hurt in the middle of the cycle (so I thought I didn't ovulate), but then they started hurting on day 26, with increasing pain from morning until noon... then it gradually subsided, and by bedtime that day, they weren't hurting at all—soft and painless as usual. I couldn't figure out what that was about... Now it's day 27 (my cycle is usually 25–27 days)... My breasts aren't hurting... There's no spotting (since I have endometriosis, I usually have spotting 2–5 days before)... Tests are negative... I'm sitting here and can't make sense of it... Either my condition has improved and everything is getting back to normal, or after 10 years of trying, I've finally been blessed with a pregnancy!!! I really hope it's the second option =)

Hello, I've always had breast pain before my periods, usually starting about a week beforehand. This month, it didn't hurt at all, and now I have a 2-3 day delay... and slight breast pain has started. Could you please tell me what this might be?

Girls, about 5 days after my period, my nipples started hurting really badly, and after 2 days it all went away, my breasts became soft and painless. I thought that finally, pregnancy had happened... but now I'm having doubts. Has anyone experienced something like this? Anyway, I'm still really hoping for a pregnancy :)

Will anyone write about the outcomes of their doubts? I think everyone is curious. Otherwise, it's the same for me: at first, my breasts didn't hurt, then two days before my period they started to ache, now there's a one-day delay and they still hurt. What do these changes mean, or am I just being overly anxious?

I don't know what to think either.

My period should have started already, but my breasts haven't hurt at all this cycle, even though they always do. The tests are still negative for now...

Elya, were both of your pregnancies successful? During one of mine, my breasts hurt a lot, and I had lower abdominal pain—I felt really unwell. At 5 weeks, I had a miscarriage. Now, after ovulation, my lower abdomen hurts, and my breasts are just tingling... So I'm wondering, could pregnancy manifest differently each time?

Girls, please tell me what's going on with me? I'm a couple of days late, tests are negative, I have a pulling sensation from the corpus luteum on the right side of my uterus, pain like the start of cystitis, my breasts are soft but my areolas have noticeably enlarged. I saw a doctor who told me to take Foliber and have a blood test. I decided to wait a couple more days for hCG to rise. It's my first cycle without contraception with my partner. Could I be pregnant?

I'll tell you about my experience. My last pregnancy was a blighted ovum (anembryonic pregnancy). In the next pregnancy, before my missed period and a bit after, my breasts hurt terribly, it was even painful to sleep at night. Then the breast pain stopped, they deflated, became like rags. Having read online comments that this is a sign of a missed miscarriage, I rushed in tears to the clinic. The doctor calmed me down, saying that breasts don't necessarily have to grow and hurt, that for many women the belly grows while the breasts stay the same. But seeing my panic, she immediately sent me for an ultrasound. It was 5 obstetric weeks, they only saw the gestational sac. The sonographer said that at this stage the embryo is not yet visible and told me to come back in 10 days. A whole week of stress and nerves waiting for the next scan. My breasts still didn't grow or swell, there were no signs of fatigue or morning sickness either. Unable to wait the full 10 days, I went for another ultrasound after 6 days. And, oh, MIRACLE! The embryo was visualised and they let me listen to the heartbeat! And by the way, while sitting in the queue for the ultrasound, I saw a heavily pregnant girl, but she had no noticeable breasts at all.

So, dear girls, I'll dispel the myth that the absence of pain and swelling in the breasts is a sign of a missed miscarriage. The doctor prescribed Utrogestan, 200mg twice a day. Also, the sonographer said to completely avoid all chemicals: don't paint nails, don't dye hair, don't use deodorant, not even roll-on, as they contain heavy metal salts (I think that's what he called them). He said to completely avoid touching chemicals when washing dishes, the bath, or the toilet. It's better not to wash them at all, but if you must, use thick gloves, as all these household chemicals are absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly. He also said that the embryo can die from overheating, taking hot baths is dangerous, a warm shower is better.

Hello everyone, I don't know what to think. My husband and I wanted a baby. On November 26th, we didn't... and on the 27th either.
Now, counting from then, today is December 2nd... so it's already been 7 days. On the 4th day, my breasts started to hurt a bit, and I felt a slight sensation... my nipples and breasts became a bit firmer. My period is due on the 9th or 10th of December. Could these signs be pregnancy, or is it just my period coming? Also, my lower abdomen hurts, especially in the morning. Please don't hesitate to write to me.

Oh, and one more thing—I was pregnant by him once before, but I had an abortion. We didn't know each other well back then.
And when I got pregnant before, the signs were the same, and at 2.5 weeks, I already got two bright lines on the test. Although I see now that some people write and say that tests only show accurately after 4 or 5 weeks. Strange, maybe it's different for everyone. (THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND FOR RESPONDING TO MY MESSAGE.)

I'll tell you about my situation. I'm 24 years old. We've been trying for a baby for the second year now. My first pregnancy unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks (obstetric). My breasts have always been sore, including during the first pregnancy, and they hurt very, very badly in the second phase of my cycle—possibly due to high prolactin, but I haven't had any tests done. The doctor prescribed Mastodynon. After that, I stopped ovulating altogether for 3-4 months, and my cycle was completely disrupted, lasting up to 40 days. I'm completely exhausted now—girls who are trying to conceive will understand. We're trying again now, and my period is due in two days. My breasts aren't sore, just a little. There are no signs of pregnancy. I'm waiting and hoping for those two lines...

Well, have you found out yet??? I'm waiting too, it's only been a year, but I'm already out of strength. My period is due in 2-4 days, no sensations in my breasts at all, I can't tell if this is a sign or not... Good luck to everyone! Wishing you all the speedy arrival of your little ones!!! We can do this, girls. It's our purpose. Everything will work out!!!

Ladies, has anyone experienced their breasts stopping hurting and then pregnancy occurred? I'm in the same situation. They always hurt, it's been 3 months since I stopped taking birth control pills, we're trying for a baby, this month they don't hurt, only last week my nipples were terribly bothering me, 5 days until my period, and my breasts are silent... What do you think, pregnancy?

I've never had breast pain before my period, but now, 10 days before it starts, it's impossible to touch. Then, after about two days, it's fine, and later it just feels heavy, as if it's a size 5. Sometimes there's a pulling sensation in the lower abdomen. I wonder what this could be—the best thoughts are starting to creep in)))

Girls, I have a question. My breasts have never hurt before my period, or if they did, it was very slight. But this month, they've been hurting intensely for two days now—it's even painful to touch—and on top of that, instead of my period, I'm having brown-coloured discharge. Can anyone tell me what this might be?

Well, did you find out anything? Are you pregnant?

I'm in exactly the same situation, my breasts don't hurt at all. After a year and a half of trying, I've gotten used to feeling my breasts the day after ovulation—they become fuller, more sensitive, and about 7–8 days before my period, I get a slight pain that only goes away on the second day of my period. Ovulation always happens on days 20–21 of my cycle, and my cycle is 33–35 days long. Today is day 27 of my cycle, meaning a week has passed since ovulation, but I don't feel my breasts at all, just like at the beginning of my cycle. My lower abdomen is pulling a bit. What could this be? An anovulatory cycle? A hormonal imbalance? My period is only due in a week. Of course, I'm hoping for pregnancy.

I completely understand how you feel. For me, it was 4 years, and when I got pregnant, I didn't even realise it! My body, the sly thing, tricked me! At first, my boobs hurt, then they stopped just before my cycle was due and only hurt a little bit, so I was expecting my period! I went to the toilet in the evening, and there were 2 drops of blood on my pantyliner (that's how it usually starts), so I put on a pad and went to bed. But in the morning, it was completely clean! I was so surprised! I knew this could happen with implantation, but I had given up hope and didn't believe it would ever happen to me! About 4 days passed, and I couldn't figure out what was going on???? Girls, I'm no stranger to the theory of pregnancy, and I've been through 7 circles of hell with treatments, so after so many years, you just stop expecting it!!! And it happened when I didn't believe it and couldn't believe it! Even the two lines on the test didn't make me happy—they made me wary! It was only after the ultrasound that I believed it had actually happened to me! I wish for you not to wait for it, to forget about it, and for one day to be utterly surprised by those two lines!!!!!

Hello everyone! I don't want to upset anyone, but sometimes it happens like this... I've also been planning a pregnancy for six months! And in the last cycle, my breasts started hurting a lot (not like usual before my period)! They literally swelled up like balloons! Then there was a three-day delay—the first delay in my life!!! The test showed a barely visible second line! I rushed to the doctor! But alas, I heard the word ANOVULATION! That means there was no ovulation in this cycle! And the unusual pain and swelling of the breasts are signs of that! As sad as it may sound, this is something to consider when experiencing breast pain too!

But to everyone hoping to get pregnant soon, I wish you luck in the near future! Psychics say that February is the most favourable month for everyone who has been waiting a long time for a baby! So let's all finally have some luck))))

Hello! I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. Notably, throughout this entire time, my breasts didn't hurt at all—neither before the missed period nor after. I didn't experience any nausea either. Although during my first pregnancy, I had morning sickness, and my breasts started hurting even before the missed period and continued to hurt throughout the pregnancy. In my first pregnancy, my stomach never hurt once in nine months; I didn't even feel any heaviness in my abdomen—I wore heels for nine months and worked right up until the day I gave birth. Even my boss didn't believe I was pregnant when I brought in the sick leave to start my maternity leave. He said it was probably a joke, even though I work almost in plain sight of the director. So, girls, it's all individual. We look for signs—but they might not be there. And whether that's good or not—that's not our question.

You know, during my first pregnancy, my breasts hurt so much that I cried—it was painful even to touch them. But in my second pregnancy, I don’t even remember if they hurt or not. Now, I have a question: we’ve been wanting another baby for half a year now. Usually, 3–5 days before my period, my breasts hurt a bit, but not too much. This month, it happened as usual, but strangely, 15 days after my period, my breasts started hurting again. My next period is still far away, and I don’t understand what’s happening. Maybe, just maybe, this is the beginning of a pregnancy—I really hope so.

I really want a baby. Usually, my breasts start hurting a week before my period, but they aren't hurting now... I took a test and it was negative... My stomach sometimes aches, and a week ago my lower back hurt a lot... I don't know if I've caught a cold or if I'm pregnant...
