Vaginal discharge …

Vaginal discharge during pregnancy

Hello everyone! Dear girls, please write if you know what kind of discharge is normal in the first months of pregnancy, and what is already considered abnormal.... I'm only seeing the doctor next week, but right now I have some light discharge (knock on wood) of some unclear color, like beige or light yellow.... Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance!

Go to the doctor TODAY. Not joking.

White, yellowish discharge up to 1 tablespoon is normal. The fetus is developing, and everyone has discharge. Blood or streaks of blood are not normal.

Why to the doctor? There's nothing unusual with the author. No abdominal pain, no blood. It's just discharge.

I'm about the same, I've been to the doctor, everything's fine.

I had not just beige but brown discharge for three days. I rushed to the doctor immediately—she ordered an ultrasound, examined me, and took a swab, but nothing was detected; everything was normal. She explained that this can happen in early pregnancy, especially around the time of expected periods.

By the way, what did the test for hidden infections show?

It is considered normal to have white-yellow discharge; it is certainly more abundant than when not pregnant. I had that too, but our doctors are just "wonderful"! From the very beginning, I complained about the discharge, but no one paid attention. In the end, it turned out to be a simple yeast infection, and the doctor said that in the early stages, it's common and happens to almost every other woman, but it's still unpleasant(((( The first three months are the scariest, especially if it's your first pregnancy—you're afraid of everything, so it's better to be safe and go to the doctor; it will also give you peace of mind.

I called the doctor, they admitted me to the hospital, they're talking about a threat, the discharge has gotten darker... I have an ultrasound tomorrow... I'm very, very scared.

Calm down. There's no need to worry prematurely either. When I was 10 weeks along, I was hospitalized for monitoring, and I was bleeding so much my legs were covered in blood. The doctor examined me right away, then did an ultrasound, and said we'd try to save the pregnancy. It was, uh... a retrochorionic hematoma or something... I don't remember exactly. Anyway, something with the placenta. It turned out fine—I stayed in the hospital for a month, and my child is now over 1.6 years old.

I had an ultrasound, couldn't understand anything. It seems there's no detachment, but I started bleeding. They increased my medication dosage and said they might not be able to save the pregnancy. It's still early, so the heartbeat isn't audible yet. The next ultrasound is only in a week. I'm so afraid, I just hope there's a heartbeat; otherwise, they'll have to do a D&C...

White, transparent discharge is normal, but if the consistency or color is questionable, it could be anything from a yeast infection to a threat of miscarriage or amniotic fluid leakage.

Here are links to both issues, and it's better to write to a doctor through the online form on the website; they can help you with a diagnosis.

White discharge is normal, but bloody or other colored discharges could indicate either a yeast infection or a threat of miscarriage. For instance, discharge might signal amniotic fluid leakage. I think every expectant mother should have a test on hand. It's like a pregnancy test, but it shows whether amniotic fluid is leaking. If the result is positive, you need to see a doctor immediately! I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant. I've had yellowish discharge since the beginning of the pregnancy. A smear test showed inflammation, and I've been experiencing pain during intercourse for quite some time. I thought it might be due to lack of lubrication, sorry, but now I'm associating it with the inflammation. What kind of inflammation could it be? The gynecologist at the women's clinic didn't refer me for any additional tests. Besides chlamydia and a general smear, they haven't taken any other samples "down there." What could this be, huh?

Sorry, I have a question. Is a cat harmful to a pregnant woman, and is it related to yellow discharge?

I have such a problem. I'm pregnant. I went for an ultrasound, and they said it's 3 weeks along, they saw the baby at 8 mm, but there's some fluid behind the uterus. I'm not experiencing any discomfort. Can anyone tell me if they've had this happen? I'm really scared, both for myself and the baby!

With my first child, at an early stage (around 3-4 weeks, as soon as the test showed positive), I started having brown discharge. I went to the doctor. In the end, they diagnosed a threatened miscarriage. I was hospitalized for bed rest. We were cautious throughout the pregnancy, and now there are three of us. My son is 2 years and 7 months old. We want a second child. I'm 6 days late. The test didn't show anything before, and now I'm afraid to take it—what if it's negative again? I'm experiencing yellowish discharge, and it's quite thick.

My husband and I had sex during ovulation, and two days later, I started having beige, watery discharge with no odor or itching. It's been 8 days now, and it's still the same, but I've also been feeling nauseous throughout the day. We took a test, and it was negative, but I know it's still early—my husband insisted, though. So my question is, has anyone else experienced this?

Girls, please advise, has anyone experienced something like this. After I got pregnant, my husband developed redness on his genital organ; it goes away but reappears after we make love. Could this be a reaction to my discharge? The discharge is yellowish-white.

I have a different question: why can't Metrogyl Plus be used in the early stages? And what changes later?

Don't even bother. Just buy yourself Ecofemin Floravag and drink it every morning. That way, your discharge will always be normal.

Discharge may become more abundant, but there should be no change in color or odor. It's best to start taking EcoFem FloraVag right away to avoid future issues with discharge and the intestines.

I took Ecofemin, my discharge stayed the same as it was. I think it's better to be safe than sorry.

I have brown discharge too, can you tell me - I've been using suppositories for a week, could it be because of them?

In my first month, on the day my period was expected, there was a slight brown discharge for half a day. Then, in the second month, also on the expected day of my period, it started with brown spotting. I went to the doctor, and an ultrasound revealed that the pregnancy wasn't progressing. It was a missed miscarriage, in short. They admitted me to the hospital for a D&C... Of course, I'm in despair; we've been trying to conceive for three years, struggling all along.....

I had bright red discharge, then it turned into bleeding, rushed to the doctor, the heartbeat appeared, doctors are shrugging their shoulders about why I'm bleeding, maybe it's erosion, try not to stress, everything will be fine.

Yes, during pregnancy discharge increases and becomes watery.

I had something similar early on. I couldn't get to a doctor... After a very intense argument with my husband, a few hours later, I started having mucous discharge with blood. I thought that was it... I asked some acquaintances, and they said it was placental abruption, a miscarriage... In the end, at 3 months, I registered for prenatal care, and the ultrasound showed everything was normal.
To this day, I still don't know what that was. Thank God, of course, for protecting me.

In early pregnancy, the pregnant woman's immunity decreases and there's an imbalance in the vagina (yeast infection), the genitals react with irritation to such changes. In a couple of weeks everything will return to normal without any treatment.

Girls, please tell me, I'm 3-4 weeks pregnant and have discharge with an unpleasant smell—what could this mean? I've seen two gynecologists; one just shrugged and scheduled a follow-up ultrasound, while the other prescribed Duphaston. I'm at a loss about what to think or do now.

Get an ultrasound. You might have cysts in your ovaries! I also had pain during and after sex! And then when a cyst I didn't know about ruptured, it was hell! Good thing everything ended well.

So what happened in the end, Zhanna? Did it work out?)
