Has anyone managed to deal with cholesterol?

My doctor recommends checking cholesterol and its components because I once had minor deviations. Says I need to monitor it and take measures if something comes up. But as far as I know, diet isn't the root cause of high cholesterol, and I won't take pills. I don't see the point in constantly paying for blood tests. Has anyone managed to lower cholesterol through diet if it was elevated? #ExpertsAnswer #cholesterol

Diet doesn't have much to do with it; I doubt you're eating eggs, fatty meats, or cakes with ice cream from morning till night. Get your liver checked.

Diet + Lactoflorene Cholesterol in courses twice a year and cholesterol remains normal.

I was on a diet for six months, having first consulted a dietitian. No sweets, fatty foods, etc. Not only did my cholesterol not decrease, it even rose slightly.

What do you mean by checking your liver?

I eat normal food. I feel like without extremes in either direction.

And how did she explain that?

Cholesterol is also produced by our own bodies, not just obtained externally through food.

Either pills or a heart attack. The choice is yours.

I've managed to switch to a plant-based diet for five years now. Recently, I had my cholesterol checked at the clinic, and it's 3.3.

Well, a heart attack is a long way off, I think.

So you mainly eat vegetables and fruit then?

Yes, but if something's wrong with the production, then it's hereditary, that kind of thing probably can't be fixed
Only with heavy artillery

For example, I'll say that unfortunately my mum died from this illness. A doctor once had a conversation with me about how dangerous it can be. That cholesterol builds up over years and clogs artery walls with cholesterol plaques, and all that sort of thing. Now I understand just how dangerous it can be.

I'll add: she also had COVID, even though she was vaccinated, so probably COVID finished her off.

If a doctor prescribes medication, you need to take it, otherwise cholesterol will be the death of you.

I was on a strict diet for three months. My cholesterol has gone even higher.

The therapist recommended consuming my normal amount of fats and taking the supplement Armolipid.
My total cholesterol was just under 8.
I was just transitioning to a low-carb diet and had recently recovered from another bout of COVID.
My medical history includes a stroke, type 1.5 diabetes (LADA), and being underweight.

Currently, I'm taking a lot of things, but Armolipid has now become my trusted companion.
It helps during PMS when I feel like eating everything in sight.

The tablets are very effective at lowering cholesterol. One course lasts my mother a whole year. At the free clinic, they told her there was nothing to worry about and that her levels were normal. But at the private clinic, they insisted it must be lowered and prescribed Atoris. And her blood sugar levels have become perfect. Why take on unnecessary problems and risks, like strokes and blood clots later on? Then it won't be enough to just rely on tablets.

I had high cholesterol for two years. I revised my diet, almost completely cut out alcohol, limited coffee to once a day, added more fish days, and reduced my intake of animal protein slightly. I also rarely eat sweets, but I do love crisps :) After nine months, I had my blood tested, and my cholesterol had decreased, now falling within the normal range.

Why did you start cutting back on protein though?
It can't affect cholesterol levels.. same as coffee, for example.

If there are kidney problems, then of course it's worth switching from meat to fish, reducing salt intake etc.

Cholesterol levels become elevated with diabetes, hypothyroidism, when taking certain medications.. and from diet too.
I also understand that protein can raise sugar in sick people, but for it to affect cholesterol...

It seems like you should keep an eye on it, but it's long been proven that half of those who had a heart attack had normal cholesterol levels. And many people with high cholesterol live peacefully into old age... You just never know.

Big question, what will do you in faster - cholesterol or statins?

Supplements help. A man, a doctor, started taking statins after a heart attack. They made him feel unwell. His wife, a nutritionist, prescribed supplements. His cholesterol decreased.

That's for sure. I wrote about the doctor who was taking statins. He didn't believe his patients until he tried them himself. After his heart attack, he nearly went mental because of those statins. Well, at least he started believing his wife, he used to think she was a quack.

And why is the clairvoyant Stanislava Aleksandrovich writing a book of life, where she tells what she tells her clients, about how doctors couldn't save her mother or how the younger offspring of Eldar Kazansky is supposed to have a daughter who will continue her harmful work.

I managed to lower it without dieting, as imposing too many restrictions on myself causes even more stress and a further increase in cholesterol. It decreased well for me from taking propolis and mumijo.

Good afternoon. I'm also interested in how to do this.
I've always maintained a healthy diet, yet over the past year, my cholesterol has risen to the upper limit of normal and continues to climb.
The only thing that has changed in my life is that I've started drinking less alcohol.
Last year, there was an event or a birthday every week.
Now, my diet is even more restrained, with no alcohol at all, yet my cholesterol keeps creeping up.
I still think it's due to stress, and I'm going to try attending yoga regularly. Physical activity plus relaxation practices. In about 3-4 months, I'll report back to see how it goes. I've heard yoga helps with this.

Good luck)

Of course, it's not solely about the diet, but it is important. The Mediterranean diet is perfect for me, plus daily walks for at least half an hour and workouts twice a week. On the advice of my cardiologist, I take Ateroklefit Bio from the pharmacy and nothing else. That way, both my LDL and blood pressure are normal. But regular check-ups are still necessary; one shouldn't take that lightly.

I had to notice the main issue in time and lower it. To avoid being prescribed statins, I drank something to reduce cholesterol multiflora and drastically changed my diet to eliminate potential cholesterol problems.

Just yesterday I was reading that it might be a problem with bile flow. They recommend two glasses on an empty stomach, but only warm.

Yes, with the diet, it worked, but I had a slight increase. I stuck to the diet for three months, plus I took Evalar's super omega 3-6-9, three capsules a day, and the levels gradually decreased.

I reduced it through diet and dietary supplements. I eliminated all meat except rabbit and poultry. I cut out all foods containing natural sugar (simple carbohydrates). I ate a lot of fish. All vegetables and fruits were purple and red. Plus, I included nuts, avocados, and all legumes. I dressed everything with olive and flaxseed oil. I replaced bread with rye, bran, and whole grain varieties. It's impossible to list everything... As for supplements – Lactoflorene Cholesterol, Omega 3, Magnesium B6, and Dibicor. Initially, total cholesterol was 6.56 mmol/L, LDL 4.7. After two months, total cholesterol was 4.56 mmol/L, LDL 2.9.

I recommend the Ateroklefit Bio supplement; it turned out to be very beneficial for me. I was drawn to the fact that it's a natural product, which is why I chose it specifically for lowering cholesterol. I took it for 2 months with a 10-day break, as instructed. I managed to reduce my cholesterol by 2.5 units—wow, that's impressive for me! I also noticed that my blood pressure returned to normal. And of course, I should mention that during the treatment, I also followed a diet for the full effect.

Atoris sharply increased my sugar from 5.5 to 7.8 already on the third day after taking it. I stopped taking them - the previous levels returned. Take them to double the risks?

All indicators returned to normal within 2-3 months. I now follow healthy eating rules, but not as fanatically as before. My current indicators are normal, but at the upper limit of normal. For physical activity—I walk a lot and do home workouts with Cindy Crawford's 'Secret to the Perfect Figure' programme. I used to be overweight, now I'm in the middle of the normal range. And that's great. Regarding blood vessels—I've been diagnosed with atherosclerosis. That's actually why I started leading a healthy lifestyle in general, but in this area, the indicators haven't changed. No improvements have been recorded.

I have almost exactly the same readings now as your initial ones. Started a diet, added walking an hour a day. Ordered some supplements, which brand of cholesterol one do you take? And what is Dibicor? How do you take Magnesium B6? I take 2 tablets at night.
