My doctor recommends checking cholesterol and its components because I once had minor deviations. He says I need to monitor it and take measures if something comes up. But as far as I know, diet isn't the root cause of high cholesterol, and I won't take pills. I don't see the point in constantly paying for blood tests. Has anyone managed to lower their cholesterol with diet if it was elevated? #ExpertsAnswer #cholesterol
Diet doesn't have much to do with it; I doubt you're eating eggs, fatty meats, or cakes with ice cream from morning till night. Get your liver checked.

Diet + Lactoflorene Cholesterol in courses twice a year, and cholesterol stays normal.

I was on a diet for six months after consulting a dietitian beforehand. No sweets, fatty foods, etc. Not only did my cholesterol not decrease, but it even went up a bit.

I eat normal food. I feel like without extremes in either direction.

It worked out, I've switched to a plant-based diet for 5 years now. Recently, I got my cholesterol tested at the clinic, and it's 3.3.

Well, a heart attack is still far off, I think.

Yeah, but if something's wrong with the production, then it's hereditary, that kind of thing probably can't be fixed Only with heavy artillery

For example, I'll say that unfortunately my mom died from this disease. A doctor once had a conversation with me about how dangerous this can be. That cholesterol accumulates over years and clogs artery walls with cholesterol plaques, and all that kind of stuff. Now I understand how dangerous this can be.

I'll add: she also had COVID, even though she was vaccinated, so probably COVID finished her off.

If a doctor prescribes a medication, you need to take it, otherwise cholesterol will do you in.

I was on a strict diet for three months. My cholesterol got even higher.
The therapist recommended eating my normal amount of fats and taking the supplement Armolipid. My total cholesterol was just under 8. I was just transitioning to a healthy diet and had recently recovered from another bout of COVID. My medical history includes... a stroke, type 1.5 diabetes (LADA), and being underweight.
I'm currently taking a lot of things, but Armolipid has now become my reliable friend. It helps during PMS when I feel like eating everything in sight.

The pills are very effective at lowering cholesterol. One course of treatment lasts my mother a whole year. At the free clinic, they told her it was nothing serious, just normal. But at the private clinic, they said it absolutely must be lowered and prescribed Atoris. And her blood sugar levels have become perfect. Why take on extra problems and risks, like strokes and blood clots later on? Then you won't get by with just pills anymore.

I had high cholesterol for two years. I reevaluated my diet, almost completely cut out alcohol, limited coffee to once a day, added more fish days, and reduced my intake of animal protein a bit. I also rarely eat sweets, but I love chips :) After nine months, I checked my blood again, and my cholesterol had lowered, now within the normal range.

Why did you start cutting back on protein? It can't affect cholesterol levels.. just like coffee, for example.
If you have kidney problems, then of course it's worth switching from meat to fish, reducing salt intake, etc.
Cholesterol levels get elevated with diabetes, hypothyroidism, when taking certain medications.. and from diet too. I also understand that protein can raise sugar in sick people, but cholesterol?

It seems like you should keep an eye on it, but it's been proven for a long time that half of those who had a heart attack had normal cholesterol levels. Also, many people with high cholesterol live peacefully into old age... You never know.

The big question is what will kill you faster: cholesterol or statins
Supplements help. A man, a doctor, started taking statins after a heart attack. They made him feel worse. His wife, a nutritionist, prescribed supplements. His cholesterol went down.

That's for sure. I wrote about the doctor who was taking statins. He didn't believe his patients until he tried them himself. After his heart attack, he almost went crazy because of those statins. Well, at least he started believing his wife, before that he thought she was a quack.

And why is the clairvoyant Stanislava Aleksandrovna writing a book of life, where she tells what she tells her clients, about how doctors couldn't save her mother or how the younger offspring of Eldar Kazansky is supposed to have a daughter who will continue her harmful work.

I managed to lower it without dieting, because imposing too many restrictions on myself causes even more stress and a further increase in cholesterol. It decreased well for me from taking propolis and mumijo.
Good afternoon. I'm also interested in how to do this. I've always maintained a proper diet, but over the past year, my cholesterol has risen to the upper limit of normal and continues to increase. What has changed in my life is that I've started drinking less alcohol. Last year, there was an event or birthday every week. Now my diet is even more restrained, with no alcohol at all, yet my cholesterol keeps creeping up. I still think it's due to stress, and I'm going to try to commit to regular yoga. Physical activity plus relaxation practices. In 3-4 months, I'll report back to see how it goes. I've heard yoga helps with this.
Just ask at the pharmacy about ArsoLIPID. Either Meda Pharma* or *Mylan Pharma*

Of course, it's not just about the diet, but it is important. The Mediterranean diet is perfect for me, plus daily walks for at least half an hour and workouts twice a week. On the advice of my cardiologist, I take Ateroklefit Bio from the pharmacy and nothing else. That way, both my LDL and blood pressure are normal. But regular check-ups are still necessary; you shouldn't take that lightly.

I had to lower it in time to notice the main issue. To avoid being prescribed statins, I drank something to reduce multiflora cholesterol and drastically changed my diet to eliminate potential cholesterol problems.

Just yesterday I was reading that it might be a problem with bile drainage. They recommend two glasses on an empty stomach, but only warm.
Yes, with the diet, it worked, but I had a slight increase. I maintained the diet for three months, plus I took Evalar's super omega 3-6-9, three capsules a day, and the indicators gradually decreased.

I reduced it through diet and dietary supplements. I eliminated all meat except for rabbit and poultry. I cut out all foods containing natural sugar (simple carbohydrates). I ate a lot of fish. All vegetables and fruits were purple and red. Plus, I also had nuts, avocados, and all legumes. I dressed everything with olive and flaxseed oil. I replaced bread with rye, bran, and whole grain varieties. I can't list everything... As for supplements, I took Lactoflorene Cholesterol, Omega 3, Magnesium B6, and Dibicor. Initially, my total cholesterol was 6.56 mmol, and LDL was 4.7. After two months, my total cholesterol dropped to 4.56 mmol, and LDL to 2.9.

I recommend the Ateroklefit Bio supplement; it turned out to be very beneficial for me. I was drawn to the fact that it's a natural product, which is why I chose it specifically for lowering cholesterol. I took it for 2 months with a 10-day break, as instructed. I managed to reduce my cholesterol by 2.5 units—wow for me! I also noticed that my blood pressure normalized. And of course, I should mention that I also followed a diet during the treatment for the full effect.

Atoris sharply increased my sugar from 5.5 to 7.8 already on the third day after taking it. I stopped taking them - the levels returned to what they were before. Should I take them to double my risks?

All indicators returned to normal within 2-3 months. Now I follow healthy eating rules, but not as fanatically as before. Currently, the indicators are normal, but at the upper limit of normal. For physical activity—I walk a lot and do home workouts with Cindy Crawford's 'Secret to the Perfect Figure' program. I used to be overweight, now I'm in the middle of the normal range. And that's great. Regarding blood vessels—I've been diagnosed with atherosclerosis. That's actually why I started leading a healthy lifestyle in general, but here the indicators haven't changed. No improvements have been recorded.

I have almost exactly the same numbers now as your initial ones. Started a diet, added walking an hour a day. Ordered some supplements, which brand of cholesterol one do you take? And what is Dibicor? How do you take Magnesium B6? I take 2 tablets at night.
